					There is Hope Eternal in
					God and His Son, Jesus.
“Why are you downcast, O my
					soul?
					Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God...” Psalm 42:11 (NIV)

“For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen,
					is no hope at all.

					Who hopes for what he
already has? But if we hope for
what we do not yet have, we
wait for it patiently.” ROMANS 8:24-25 (NIV)

					Many people
have been in situations where they felt hopeless. Personal
problems that one encounters in his or her life, brings
disappointments; and failures causes one to feel hopeless.
Have you been there? Are you in such a situation where you
					may be feeling hopeless?

Reject any discouraging word coming to you from friends or a
family member—that there is no hope for you in your
situation. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’
declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you HOPE and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11
Let go of negative words you once received and receive the
Word of hope from God. As you seek God in prayer with all
your heart, you will find Him. He will show up! As He does,
He will be there to give you guidance and direction; He will
turn things around for you. The change will come as you wait
					and expect from God.

I once faced situations in more than one occasion, where I
felt that there was no hope for me. I had my hope in the
medication to bring the healing I needed. When all else
failed, I turned my faith loose and sought God earnestly and
expected my healing to come from Him. And it did. Things
changed around. This has been many years now. When a
situation arises, I first commit it to the Lord and wait for
any direction from Him. He always gives an answer. At times
not immediately, but the answer comes just on time. The
impossible with men became possible with God.

The Word of Hope is at work everyday in the lives of many
who continue to believe and receive God’s word and who prays
and wait with patience for the answer. See Romans 8:25,
see also Psalm 61:5 which tells us that our hope
					comes from Him.

					Produce good fruit—
					allow the LORD to
					magnify your good works.
“To every thing there is a
					season,

					and a time to every
purpose under the heaven:”ECCLESIASTES 3:1 (KJV)

 “Is there not an appointed
					time to man upon earth?

					Are not his days also
like the days of an hireling?” JOB 7:1 (KJV)

					Seasons.
A young sister saw her sister excel above her in
recognition. Her negative emotions reigned. She believed she
had to find her niche in life to out perform her. Have you
found your niche in life? Many people live their entire
lives without knowing what their niche is or that they are
living in it. If you have found yours, that is great! If
not, do not worry—do not focus on what your niche might be.
Focus on what talents God has given you which can help as
many people as possible. You do have one.

Here is the key. Jesus said, “But
he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.”
Matthew 23:11 (KJV) This means that whoever serves the
most people will be the one who gets the more attention,
fame, glory, power, and the things which go with those—not
all are positive. We all live in seasons. Harvest comes in
due season—at the appointed time. Sometimes disasters come
to destroy the harvest; often that destruction comes by our
own mouths, hands, hearts, or minds: words spoken out of
turn, our lack of judgment, negative emotions, poor
decisions, or actions which go beyond our nature or nature
itself. “A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a
word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Proverb 15:23
					(KJV)

When we focus on ourselves, trying to figure out our niche,
we typically end up subject to negative emotions which
confound our ability to see God’s direction for us. It is
better to learn how to deal with everyday emotions,
particularly the negative ones, so we can focus on the
positive aspects of our miraculous lives, instead of the
negative. Focus on Christ Jesus and ascend in the beauty of
His Holiness. Live in your seasons and produce good fruit in
its appointed time. “…and I will cause the shower to come
down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.”
					Ezekiel 34:26 (KJV)

					Watch and beware of your
habits and the habits of others.
“And take heed to yourselves, lest
at any time your hearts be overcharged

					with
surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,

					and
so that day come upon you unawares.”
					LUKE 21:34 (KJV)
					The Need To
Watch. It is very important as a
Christian to watch yourself; that is, your Christian life.
Things you do, places you go, your utterance, and your dress
code. In the book of Luke 21:34-38 the scripture tells us
that we must take heed to ourselves, least your hearts be
weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of his
life, and that day come on you unexpectedly. It’s about time
that as a believer we watch our own lives because we don’t
know that hour of the coming of the Lord. “For
as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face
of the whole earth.” Luke 21:35

Least your labor will go in vain, Luke 21:36, says,
					“Watch therefore, and pray always
that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things
that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
The reason why it is important or we need to watch is so
that we won’t heed to temptation. The scripture also says
“...resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James
					4:7) We are to keep
watching because the time is near and if we are not always
in the presence of God or always in the attitude of prayer,
we could be mislead by false prophets. As mentioned in
Luke 20:46-47; “Beware of the scribes,
which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in
the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and
the chief rooms at feasts; which devour widow’s houses, and
for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater
damnation.” Christ was telling his disciples to
be careful and the same goes for us today as Christians.

The more Christ is in us,
the more the Holy Spirit will abide upon us.
 “And John bare record, saying,

					I saw the Spirit descending
from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.” JOHN 1:32 (KJV)

					Whew! Isn’t this
amazing? This verse reveals to us the
fact that the Holy Spirit will only come and abide upon us
when we identify with Christ and when we have received His
					nature and character in us.

Many times, we have our own agendas, our own plans, and
purposes, but the Lord says: “But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and
his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
					you.” Matthew 6:33 Still other
times, we can see ourselves entangled in so many different
things which we won’t let go. But apostle Paul said: “Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the
excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for
whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count
					them but dung,
					that I may
win Christ, And be found in him…”
					Philippians 3:8-9

God said: “And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
					Matthew 3:17 It’s no different
today. We want the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we want
healing, deliverance, prosperity and well-being in all areas
of our existence, but the Lord is a Person – not a blessing
machine. He will not come upon our selfish and self-centered
desires and plans. He will only come if and when He sees
Christ in us, because the Holy Spirit only comes and abides
					upon Christ.

God has Power and Wisdom to
see us as we truly are.
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to
					confound the wise;

					and God hath chosen the
					weak things of the world
					to confound the things
which are mighty;” 1 CORINTHIANS 1:27 (KJV)

Praise God. I greet you all in the wonderful
name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Look at Joseph the son of
Jacob, Mary and Joseph, David, and other Bible icons.
Whoever looks at these people or others around you, you will
find that there is nothing that one can see with naked eyes,
but that which is on the outside. Why do people judge from
outside only? Gods’ creations were made in the fullness of
God’s Glory. Who are you to say that this brother or sister
is not fit to be where he/she is? “Judge
not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall
not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:”
					Luke 6:37 (KJV)

Some people are not sure whether or not God likes them; or
are not sure if other people like them. Others blame God for
everything that happens around them; or they blame everyone
else for their problems or situation(s). Pray for wisdom.
“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart
from evil.” Proverb 3:7 What people think is useless—it
is what God says and has said that is most important.
“But he answered and said, It is
written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
Matthew 4:4 (Luke 4:4) Now who shall be wise enough to
understand God? “The LORD looked down from heaven upon
the children of men, to see if there were any that did
understand, and seek God.” Psalm 14:2 (53:2) Who
shall search scriptures day and night? “Search
the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:
and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39

Whenever you underestimate a brother or sister, please pray
to God and ask for His Wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:25
					reads. “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men;
and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

					Friday, 6 January 2006
					You are your brother’s
keeper. Love your neighbor as yourself.
“Jesus answered him, “The first of
all the commandments is: ‘Hear O Israel, the LORD our
God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,
and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment
					greater than these.”

					MARK 12:29-31 (NKJV)

					The First and
					Greatest Commandments of JESUS. If
you belong to an “independent” church, this Sunday you are
going to hear 15-20 minutes of the benefits and scriptural
importance of paying “tithes and offerings.” Why do I keep
hammering this topic? It is because the most important thing
which you should be hearing in church is the first and
greatest commandments and the other is salvation which will
help people walk into their salvation by seeing this
commandment, this principle lived out in our actions. It is
difficult when someone is hungry, cold, lonely, sad, and
lost in the world to get saved and hold on to his or her
salvation unless we are living the first and greatest
					commandments.

When the Pharisee lawyer asked Jesus, “Master, which is
the great commandment in the law?” Matthew 22:36 Jesus
did not say to exercise your seed faith through giving your
tithes and offering so that you can take the money to feed
the homeless, hungry, orphans, widows, maintain the church,
the singers, the deacon, the minister of music, and build
one church after another until you get one great, big
mega-church campus. Am I wrong? Is that what Jesus said?
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love
the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37 This
basically means all your emotions, direction, and intellect
should be focused on the love of God and then on helping
others. Then did Jesus say, the second greatest commandment
is to give a few dollars to the poor, a few coins to
charity, a little donation to the retired elderly, but the
bulk of the treasury goes to the church’s next new building
project, and to the care of the pastor, excuse me, BISHOP or
APOSTLE, so that the good church folk can enjoy the comforts
of their “Life and Community” center and so that the Bishop
can live like Solomon. (Don’t forget what happened to
Solomon, his kingdom, his children, and their kingdoms—and
					the priests.)

Let’s review: “And thou shalt love
the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and will all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is
the first commandment.” Jesus went on to say:
“And the second is like, namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other
commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31

 LOVE THE LORD

					Build up your personal
					testimony!
“But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are
blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.”
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be
prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give
the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with
					gentleness and respect,”

					1 PETER 3:14-15 (NIV)
					Be always
prepared is not an alarm to “wake
up,” but an absolute Command from God the Master. One of the
greatest privileges you have is presenting the Good News of
Jesus Christ to others. It’s not unknown to you nor does it
go unremembered either! If someone feels presenting the Good
News is the priority or the purpose of Christian living,
then the need is to be prepared to give your personal
testimony to others. God wants us to be witnesses to others
for Christ and our lives to be witnesses for Christ. So, in
life there are three kinds of lives we live as it happened
in the life of Paul the Apostle who was able to give his
testimony before King Agrippa. (Acts 26:1-23)

						1. LIFE BEFORE CONVERSION—Living a
religious life is different than living a witnessing
life. We can perform all kinds of Christian rituals and
follow tradition and become a good attendant in the
church services. But becoming a true witness of and for
Christ is different. Look at Paul the Apostle who lived
a religious life, but his life was quite in opposition
to God and His Children. Selfish living.
 2. CONVERSION—God needs us to be converted so we
can recognize the need for Christ (in us) and God needs
us to commit to Christ; to His service. Thus, conversion
life is the only life whereafter we can live a life of
testimony to others. And in such life God has an active
plan for us as was the case behind the conversion of
						Apostle Paul. Be converted.

 3. LIFE AFTER CONVERSION—When we are converted or
have a changed life, then we can live witnessing life
for Christ and being a witness for Christ. Apostle Paul
is the great example to live a testimonial life, the
						life after conversion. Purpose-filled living.

Friends, we all are required to prepare ourselves for a
personal testimony to be witnesses for Christ. Let us be
preparing to testify that Christ the Messiah is LORD! God
					bless you! Amen!

					In this world, if you
believe it, it makes it so for you!
“…If you will not believe, surely you shall not be
					established.”
 ISAIAH 7:9
					(NKJV)

					Your
					God-given assignment.
					A young man
once told me something which he heard from another source:
“Demons are not afraid of us—they are afraid of our
assignments.” Let me say that I know demons are afraid of me
and the devil also because I am on assignment. As you
believe, so you are. If you believe that demons are not
afraid of you, they won’t be. You have thus empowered them
against you (and your assignment). And you will probably
live your life as though you have empowered them.

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on
us, that we should be called children of God!…” 1 John 3:1
					(NKJV) (Galatians 4:6; Philemon 2:15; 1 John 3:2)
They do fear you and your assignment when you know who you
are: “…Christ liveth in me…” Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
					(2 Corinthians 11:10; 2 Corinthians 13:3)  They
know who you are. If you believe “demons only fear your
assignment, but not you;” then you are probably not on your
assignment. Get on with your assignment.

Your God-given assignment—the need to work for the LORD—but
more importantly—the NEED to KNOW your God-given assignment can be a
spiritual trap. Do you know what your niche in life is? What
is your Christ-given assignment? Don’t wait until you figure
it out to do it. Don’t wait until you win the lotto (or
become a millionaire) to help the next person, to help
people. Do the Word—follow the example of Jesus—be the
example of Jesus. Help one another in peace and love.

“ ‘And you shall love the LORD your
God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your
mind, and with all your strength,’ This is the first
commandment. And the second is like it, is this: ‘You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other
commandment greater than these.’ ” Mark 12:30-31
(NKJV) Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20: go throughout
the world, “ ‘teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am
with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

					Recharge and stick to
the Truth and your freedom will return to you!

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If
you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then
you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the
truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except
					through me.’ ”

					JOHN 8:31-32; 14:6
					(NIV)

					Reality is
					the expression
					of the natural
things which exist and which are tangible. Reality is what
nature or man calls or says of a thing, of circumstances, or
of a situation, while the truth is the Word of God; which
God knows as a thing, a fact, a situation, or a
circumstance. The truth is not in conformity with many of
our realities. In certain cases, truth appears absurd for
people. Moreover, human wisdom is only one type of madness
					in front of God.

Reality is of men and earthly/carnal. Truth is of God and
heavenly/eternal. Reality is characterized by its
incapacity, its limits, and its consumption abilities.
Reality makes people slaves to it and is a conduit to death.
The fall of the man is a reality; physical and spiritual
death is inevitable—if there is no remedy. On the contrary,
the Truth makes us free, sanctifies us, and is the Way and
the Life. It is the Word of God. The Word of God is Jesus
Christ, the Lord Himself. “In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
					(NIV)

Safety as a disciple of Jesus Christ by faith is a truth. In
illustration, in the life we live, we say that being sick is
real, but the truth is this: God knows your state of being.
It is He who cures and longsuffers; whereas we whine and are
impatient. The truth is that the LORD is merciful and
forgiving; the poor become rich, the weak become strong and
valiant, physical death becomes spiritual life, failure
becomes success, plugs fall which cover the eyes, the dumb
man speaks, the deaf person hears, the slave becomes free,
captivity becomes freedom, virgins have babies, sterility
produces fruitfulness, arid ground produces ponds for a
better life, perseverance overcomes in spite of persecution
					and obstacles.

Leave a sad unsatisfactory state for a dimension full of joy
and peace. In Genesis 1:2-3, “…the earth was
formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the
deep…” That is a reality, but the truth is that God
					said, “Let there be light,”
and the light was and the Light is. What a truth! In
1 Chronicles 4:9-10, Jabez was in pain and limited. He
called upon the LORD who exalted him and extended his
limits. Widen the space of your tent by the knowledge of the
Word of God and the oiling of the Truth. Faith in the Truth
transforms all the real situations of our lives for our
					successes without precedent. “Sanctify
them by the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17

					Every new season in God
requires a new type of believers!
“…but new wine must be put into new
					bottles.”

					MARK 2:22 (KJV)

There is a transition taking place
for God’s people all over the world.
Transition is defined as times and seasons when the Lord
interferes with our own plans, purposes and agendas, and
redirects them in the direction He wants, so we can fulfill
His Divine destiny for our lives.

We can not go on living like we have lived before in the
previous season. There’s a new time and a new season. That
means a new challenge. A new responsibility! A new cross. A
new hunger to know the Lord more deeply and more intimately!

The old oil will not do. We need a new one. A fresh one. We
need a fresh and daily touch of God upon our lives, our
families, our ministries, our Churches, our neighborhoods,
our cities, and our nations. Let us allow the Lord to
transform us in these times of transition.

 TRANSITION

					Wait on the Lord with
					work and
					the expectation of God’s
aligning power in all of His Creation.
“And we know that all things work together for good to
					those who love God,

to those who are the called
according to His purpose.” ROMANS 8:28 (NKJV)

					Waiting on
the LORD does not mean sitting
around and doing nothing. It means waiting in the
expectation that the LORD is lining things up on your behalf
(all things work together) as you prepare to receive that
which you believe the LORD is preparing to bring into your
provision, into your camp. You are probably going to be
looking for the things for which you have been praying. More
than likely God is preparing to send you that which is best
in accordance with His Will for your life and those who you
are going to meet and have interaction with on your life’s
path. Therefore, what is happening to you now is not going
to look like what you expect it to look like—(“In order
to turn man from his deed, and conceal pride from man.” Job
33:17)—it is not going to look like John’s promises,
Helen promises, Joe’s promises, Kim promises; but it will be
God’s promises to you. (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)

“All things working together…” is God’s Providence working
in your life and all of His Creation. So let’s get this.
What you have prayed for is taking time to get to you
because someone in your “upline,” someone who is in your
life’s path has to get ready, has to do what they need to do
(that which they know they should be doing (in the LORD, in
their lives)). People who are in your life’s path have to
get their lives in order enough (or their lives have to be
out of order enough) so when you come into their vision,
they can see you. Someone has to be in the LORD enough so
they can hear you when you speak. Banks, businesses,
corporations, churches, doctors, mechanics, machine parts,
even the grocery store manager, and the ice cream vendor
have to get aligned in that part of God’s Will for their
lives which impacts you positively or negatively for God’s
Purpose for your life to be lived out in His Creation.
Remember, someone whose life path you are in (your "downline")
					is waiting on you.

So the next time you are waiting on the LORD, know this:
even the seed in the ground dies to itself, then sprouts
moving towards God’s glorious Light so that it can receive
for you and I the bounty and wonder of God’s miracle power.
So get aligned with God’s Purpose and Will for your life
today—for we are waiting for you.

					Whenever you are faced with
a temptation, look for the way of escape.
“After fasting forty days and forty nights, he
(Jesus) was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, ‘If
you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.’
Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man
shall not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes
from the mouth of God.’ ”

					MATTHEW 4:2-4 (NIV)
					Jesus, in the
					physical human body (without sin)
felt hungry after his fasting period. Our enemy, the devil
spoke up. “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones
to become bread.” The devil knew it was Jesus, but he
was trying to trap Jesus into worshipping him. The devil
(formally, Lucifer the Archangel, but now cursed, and has no
place in God’s kingdom) was seeking to be worshipped. He
(the devil) will not tempt any human being, when hungry, to
turn stones into bread, but he will tempt humans to do
certain things that are contrary to the Word of God; things
					that oppose God.

Our enemy, the devil does not know everything. Nor does he
know anyone’s weak points, but he keeps striking at us
humans in order to get someone to succumb to his thoughts
and suggestions as he seeks to attack our minds. The devil
cannot control you unless you give him permission when you
listen to his thoughts and act upon them. The person who is
prayerless, careless about his life, or who do not obey God
habitually, falls prey to the enemy who keeps striking at
that particular point when the person first succumbed to the
					enemy’s trap.

We read in Matthew 4:4, Jesus said man lives not on
bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of
God. Bread is for our physical needs and the Word of God
meets our most important need – the spiritual need. The Word
of God also fulfills our basic needs as God supplies them
all. God alone must be worshipped! Accepting Jesus Christ in
your life and serving Him in obedience is just our
reasonable service for which we will in turn be rewarded.
Reconsider your life of whom God is the Creator and ask
Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to come into your
					life.

A new believer in Christ must have fellowship in a
congregation that believes and obeys the Word of God
					(Hebrews 10: 25) , must pray daily (Luke 18:1),
and read the Word of God daily in order to receive
sustenance continually from God. When temptation comes, look
for the way of escape. “No temptation has seized you
except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will
not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when
you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you
can stand up under it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

					Life without helping
others does not bring satisfaction nor does it bring the peace
					you seek.
“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight

					in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?
					Behold, to obey is
better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of
					rams.”1 SAMUEL 15:22 (KJV)

					Ungodly
living always run worms into our
lives; worms of madness, worms of disorder as we try to find
peace and joy. People run in all different directions
without really knowing which way to go, where to go, or what
their end will be. The real direction of our existence is
Jesus Christ who died on the cross helping others, helping
us. He has turned our sins into limestone which washes away
in the rain, washes away in the tears of our repentance. In
Him only, can we find the peace and the joy in life which we
seek. “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall
give thee the desires of thine heart.” Psalm 37:4 (KJV)

Let us make of God our delight in order to preserve our
hearts unto death—to become fire retardant. Yes, hell
exists—this large fire which never dies out. God created the
lake of fire for Satan and his agents; (Matthew 25:41)
where there will be only gnashing of teeth and eternal
sufferings. Christ, the Saviour of the world came for us,
the sinners. “But go ye and learn
what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for
I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance.” Matthew 9:13 Jesus says in
					Matthew 10:39, “He that findeth
his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my
sake shall find it.” Losing your life in your
service to others will bring you peace and joy, both here on
					earth and eternally.

Young men and women, we have a reason to live. It is Christ
our Saviour. Lose your life to the hell or lose your life to
the paradise after death. Let us lose our lives for Christ
by the abandonment of our sins (Mark 8:35) and will
find we it (Luke 9:24) grounded in a life dedicated
in the service to Christ. “Blessed is the man that
walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in
the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his
law doeth he meditate day and night.” Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV)

					God moves with us and
speaks to us in mysterious ways.
“Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God

					hath commanded you, that ye
may live, and that it may be well with you,

					and that ye may prolong
your days in the land which ye shall possess.” DEUTERONOMY 5:33 (KJV)

					Speak.
					Angels
illuminated me with this over the
course of a few days: “God speak,” “demon speak,” and “man
speak.” To put it simply: God speak: God or His Holy Family
speaks to you or through you; demon speak: the devil or his
evil group speaks to you or through you; man speak: you or
some other human speaks of their behalf or on the behalf of
someone else, usually with selfish motivations. The first
					two are spiritual and the latter is carnal or earthly;
noting that man speak can have its spiritual moments.

God speak: The Bible, God speaking to one of His creations,
God’s Commandments, Commands, Precepts, Laws, Statues, Jesus
speaking, Jesus’ Laws and Commandments; God’s Holy Family
speaking to us in our minds, hearts, spirits, emotions, or
our lives. God speaking to His children and they writing it
down. The delivery is often cutting.

Demon speak: The devil or any source speaking evil, lies,
					deceptions, decoys, misdirects, innuendo, half-truths,
accusations, false hope, perversion, ungodliness, or
nonsense to God’s creations intentionally or
unintentionally. It may not be a statement, but a question.
The delivery will be slick and glittery, full of emotion.

Man speak: People or a person speaking which does not fall
into the above categories. Generally, the person likes to
talk. They are a talker. They love to hear their voices—so
they talk. They speak to their point, off point, around
point, and often make many points or no point at all. Man
speak is often ungrounded in the supernatural, in the Bible.
The delivery is often motivational to oneself or to others.

Let’s bring it on home. In minutes, at church, how much “God
speak” do you hear? How much “man speak” do you hear? How
much “demon speak” do you hear? I am not saying that man
speak is evil or not speaking on the behalf of God, but that
is what it is: “man speak.” God may be the starting point
and end point, but He is not much in the middle of the
speaking. To what are you listening? What are you filling
your life with—“God speak,” “demon speak,” or “man speak?”

“For the ways of man are before the eyes of the
LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.” Proverb 5:21
					(KJV)

You are not of your own
					making.
It is only God who guides
					your life.
“For that ye ought to say,

If the Lord will, we shall
live, and do this, or that.” JAMES 4:15 (KJV)

					Plan your life,
organize your thoughts, control your habits,
but God should be your leader. Remember the Creator in
all times. You walk, you drive, you sing, you laugh; not
because you are lucky or clever. It is the Almighty who
makes everything move. Its not the town engineer who makes
the city good, habitable, or workable. It is God in us which
allows us to go. The power of Him is in every corner of the
cities, in every ounce of every living thing. World peace
and tranquility are given by God. Who are you to say I give
people to the whole globe? I create babies? What has man
					created from nothing?
If you want more days of life tell God. At the same time let
God know all your schedules. If you do not speak to God of
your plans, expectations, and circumstances, this means you
are lost trying to do it on your own. You are working on
your own behalf, for nothing. Your expended energy will not
get you to where you will find in your future where you
really want to go. Speaking to the LORD concerning your life
propagates an ever-growing healthy relationship with Him.
Have a full knowledge of your God. Trust Him. Talk to Him.
Inform Him. “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour
out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.
					Selah.” Psalm 62:8

Run away from evil. You hear people say I hit him or her
because I was too angry to control myself. Yes, there is no
planning in the house of the devil. So many excuses are
given when something goes wrong. Those who work with the
Holy Spirit will never regret it. The Spirit drives them in
the right direction. “In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverb 3:6

Pray to God for whatever you want to archive. “If ye shall
ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” John 14:4 Know your
times through the Holy Ghost. God does not fail you.
“…for the LORD thy God, he it is that doeth go with
thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy
					31:6

Wait on your gift. When you
receive it or recognize it; use your gift(s) properly.
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that
is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy
according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us
wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on
teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that
giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that
ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with
					cheerfulness.”

					ROMANS 12:6-8 (KJV)

					A note
					concerning your Gift(s). In Paul’s
letter to the Church at Rome, he is attempting to enlighten
the understanding of the believers regarding their gifts.
Paul explains five distinct applications for the nurturing
					and growth of our gift(s).
The first of these is: Let us perform our gift according to
the proportion of faith. How much faith do you have in Jesus
for the power, love, and application of your gift? More
simply put, “What do you believe GOD for?” I once heard a
pastor say GOD had blessings for us that we can’t even
					imagine. (1 Corinthians 2:9) I know he’s right. In
addition, how does your gift fit into the body of Christ? If
your “gift” is not in proportion or in harmony with the rest
of the body of Christ, then you may want to consider some
					things.

Secondly, some of us don’t know what our gift is, thus we
have to WAIT on it (them). As a believer, waiting is vital
to understanding GOD’S Will. (Psalm 27:14) We must
					not rush into our gifts, instead wait on GOD. Jesus is yea;
no doubts or confusion. One should receive unctions from the
Spirit or ministering angels as you wait for your gift or
gifts. The Spirit should offer comfort while you are waiting
patiently. Upon the revelation of your gift, you may have to
wait again! For example, after receiving the revelation of
ministry from Jesus, Saul had to wait years before he became
the Paul we know and read. (Galatians 1 and 2) Be
					prepared to be patient.

Next Paul urges the believer to do her or his gift with
simplicity. Simplicity! Keep it simple. God is not flashy,
flamboyant, or prideful. These are attributes of Satan and
his associates. Our society wants us to be uncanny,
remarkable, and noteworthy, but in a secular, worldly way.
Resist the temptation to be this way. (James 4:7)
Don’t be like the world. Paul admonishes against this
behavior, (Romans 12:2) instead reminding the saints
of the simplicity in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 11:3)

Most of us are familiar with the fourth and fifth aspects of
Paul’s discourse concerning gifts. Apply diligence and
cheerfulness to your gift! Be exceeding glad! We are blessed
that GOD thought enough of us to give us gifts! Remember,
faith without works is dead! (James 2:26) Thus we
must work our gifts. If you find yourself experiencing your
“gift,” yet you are not applying these principles, you may
want to re-evaluate yourself and how you are using or not
					using your gifts!

					You are God’s special gift
					to the world!
 “For you were bought at a price;

					therefore glorify God
in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”1 CORINTHIANS 6:20 (NKJV)

					Dearly beloved,
					grace to you!
					I feel great to
welcome you to this New Year. I hope that you landed safely.
Congratulations for making it. Many lost out of this
physical world in the past year, but here you are kicking.
Your presence here on earth is enough proof that God still
has a lot to do in you, with you, and through you.
There will be a serious imbalance in our world without you
in the now. You are a special species created to positively
impact our world. There is a precious deposit on your
inside. You are God’s prime investment. You are so unique
that none can fill your place. It does not matter what
people have said about you. It does not even matter what
situations have made you to think about yourself. What
matters is God’s opinion. He said that you are fearfully and
wonderfully made. You are created for His glory. He said
that you are His own. “For you are a holy people
to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be
a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the
peoples on the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy 7:6
					(NKJV)

You are God’s special gift to our world. You are here on
assignment. There is someone somewhere who is waiting for
you to manifest. There is a situation somewhere that is
waiting for you as its answer. There is a problem somewhere
that is waiting for you as its solution. Our world is
placing a demand on you to release those potentials on your
inside. God is waiting with great excitement to get you

					Seek abundance in peace,
					love, joy,
					and happiness in
					God-ordained relationships.
“…I have come that they may have life,

					and that they may
have it more abundantly.”JOHN 10:10 (NKJV)

					Riches,
power, and glory. What could be
more abundant living than to be in love, having peace, joy,
happiness, shelter, food, security, and a loving family? One
reason I believe people want riches, power, and glory is
because they never experienced it. They desire to experience
it believing it will bring them that which they believe is
missing in their lives. The other reason is that people who
seek power, glory, and riches want it for that which it will
bring – material and carnal opulence (decadence) and control
over others. Let’s examine something here. The Bible says
there were women at Jesus crucifixion who “…ministered
unto him of their substance.” (Luke 8:3) Was Jesus then
not rich, well off, living in prosperity enough not to have
these women supporting Him? Was Jesus, our example, living a
life of prosperity, riches, power, and glory? “Then Jesus
said to His disciples, ‘Assuredly, I
say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the
kingdom of heaven.’ ” Matthew 19:23 (NKJV)

There came to Jesus a rich young man (Matthew 19:16-22)
who had obeyed all the Ten Commandments Jesus said to
him, “sell what you have and give
to the poor,..” (Matthew 19:21) One of the
top temptations from the devil is riches and glory. The
devil tempted Jesus with the riches of the world after his
40 days of eating and drinking nothing. Couldn’t Jesus have
taken the riches, power, and money from the devil to further
his ministry and reach more converts making more new
Christians? So why as Christians are we so diligently,
earnestly, and whole-heartedly seeking the same riches which
Jesus denied at the start of His ministry? “And
again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through
the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom
of God.” Matthew 19:24 (NKJV) Whether for you
this story speaks of a needle or a needle gate, please hear
and hearken to these words. Remember the story of Lazarus
and the rich man. (Luke 16:19-31)

Remember what the Virgin Mary said: “And His mercy is
					on
those who fear Him from generation to generation. He has
shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in
the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty
from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled
					the
hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away
					empty.” Luke 1:50-53

					One touch from Jesus
will comfort you, heal you, and fill you.

					It will change your life
					forever.
“And wherever he went—into villages, towns or
countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They
begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and
all who touched him were healed.”

					MARK 6:55-56 (NIV)
“She had suffered a great deal under the care of many
doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting
better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came
up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because
she thought, If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”

					MARK 5:26-28 (NIV)

					A touch from
Christ. I had a touch from Jesus
Christ while in Ghana. At the time, I was preparing to go
play professional soccer in Asia. I lost contact with the
friend that was to buy my ticket when I had planned to leave
the first time. And that’s how I had the first touch from
					Jesus Christ; He comforted me.

The second touch from Jesus Christ was when I tool sick from
yellow fever and did not know. A friend saw me and told me
that I had yellow fever. I immediately stared herbs that
friends prescribed for me. Christian friends, I was dying
slowly. I couldn’t cough or laugh except I held my side
tight. God touched a friend who reminded me of my friend who
is a Physician’s Assistant (PA). He always used to treat me,
so finally after a lot God give me strength to go to see my
friend. The distance was also very far, but God strengthened
me as I got to my friend’s place. He was angry—why did I
want to kill myself by taking herbs. God Almighty calmed him
down. He started treating me. After the yellow fever left
me, then came a stomach ulcer. This time around it was not
easy, but I tell you, when God says “Yes,” no one can say,
“no.” When I went to Liberia, it started again. But this
time around I had the final touch from Jesus and today I am
very much healed. Just a touch from Jesus and all is well.

The Ministry also had lot of touches from Jesus from Ghana
to Liberia—to take care of kids. It is the touch from Jesus
which helps us. In Liberia, we also had numerous touches
from Jesus that’s why we reach this far, no international or
local partners, but God is our International and local
partner. He’s always here for us. That’s how we have reached
this far— it is the touch from Jesus Christ. Experience this
touch in your life; you will not be the same.

 A TOUCH FROM JESUS

					Sunday, January 22, 2006
					In God’s World, believe the
					unseen and unknown
					for your expectation is the
					evidence of your faith.
 “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him;

but the just shall live by
					faith.”HABAKKUK 2:4 (NKJ)

					A friend
put a person on a pedestal higher than God. As Christians,
we cannot worship anything or anyone more than God. “(for
you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is
Jealous, is a jealous God),” Exodus 34:14 (NKJ)
We cannot spend more personal time, more mental energy, more
of our being with anyone(s) or anything(s) more than the
time and energy we give to God and to His Purposes in His
World. This is not our world, pastor’s world, governor’s
world, president’s world, or America world, Europe world,
Arab world, Hebrew world, Asian world, Latino world, nor
Christian world—this is God’s World and we are only
stewards. When we misdirect our time and energy, God gets
jealous and will turn our world inside out and upside down.
Do not let this happen to you.

Reeling from the relationship and trying to recover, my
friend did not know whether they had demons or what was
causing the pain in their head and heart or what was causing
the uncontrollable thoughts which plagued their mind
concerning their lost love. Reading uplifting scriptures led
them to find short-lived joy. Their belief/faith was
anchored in how they felt physically and emotionally, i.e.,
when they felt good they believed they were better/well.
When feeling poorly, they believed they had demons or were
ill. Do not tie your faith, your belief in God moving in
your life to how you feel or on what emotions you are
					experiencing.

We must praise God in all our circumstances. “I will
bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be
in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1 Faith is believing positive
results and having positive expectations when your emotions
tell you otherwise, when your body is acting like it is on
the other team, and everything around you is telling you
that you are wrong. We must praise God in our negative
situations, circumstances, and challenges knowing that God’s
Providence is working on our behalf. “And we know that
all things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are the called according to His purpose”
Romans 8:28 means God’s Holy Family is working on your
behalf to you back into the puzzle of Life.

					Christ Jesus bears all sin
for you and me—accept Jesus into your life.
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,

‘Look, the Lamb of God, who
takes away the sin of the world!’ ” JOHN 1:29 (NIV)

So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of
					many people;...”
 HEBREWS 9:28 (NIV)

					How much more
then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our
consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may
serve the living God! Hebrews 9:14; see also
					Leviticus 4:32-35; Revelation 12:11 (NIV)

John the Baptist used the phrase again, another day, when he
saw Jesus passing by, “Look, the Lamb of God” John 1:36.
In Old Testament times, an animal sacrifice had to be
made if someone sinned against God; known as the “sin
offering” Leviticus 4:32-35. See also Leviticus
4:1-5:13, Leviticus 6:24-30. Each time a person sins
against God, he must offer a sin offering in order to be
					forgiven, and acceptable to God.

Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, became that sin-offering for
man’s sins. He was despised and rejected by men. “But He
was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our
iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon
him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. He,
being the perfect sacrifice, offered Himself once for all,
paying the debt of sin for all mankind, when he died on the
					cross. (Romans 6:10)

John said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of
the world!” He is the precious LAMB OF GOD, who made a
sacrifice for both you and me. He means everything to you
and me, that is if you have received Him as your Saviour. He
is there for you if you do not know Him. Simply ask Him to
come into your heart, make you a new person, and forgive you
of all of your sins. The next step is to read the Bible each
day, and begin attending a Bible believing church. Pray each
day, and let others know that you are a Christian as you
follow the Lord all the days of your life. The Lord bless
					you now, is my prayer.

 LAMB OF GOD

					In God’s work,
brothers and sisters, we are one.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
					longsuffering, gentleness,

					goodness, faith, meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law.” GALATIANS 5:22-23 (KJV)

					Now let us
					come to our Almighty Father
whole-heartedly through Christ Jesus. Come in truth. Where
there is Spiritual love God dwells. “And we have known
and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and
he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1
John 4:16 Remember, when you cheat a brother or a
sister, you will in effect show your true colors to Him.
“And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth
God love his brother also.” 1 John 4:21

Seeds sewn in darkness lead to death. You cannot hide from
God. Why do you think you are hiding from God or people? Why
do you want to please people and not God? “Awake to
righteousness, and sin not;…” 1 Corinthians 15:34 Good
deeds keep you close to God. Sin separates you and me from
God. Why do you love evil and sin?

Through Him, our choice should be to please the Almighty.
Your thinking should be not be filled with evil. Now, how do
you fight evil thinking? Whenever an evil mind comes, please
talk to the Lord— remember the scriptures. Ask yourself, is
this faith or is this love? Evil begins from the heart, so
guard yourself through God; place the scriptures in your
					heart by learning them.

Searching and studying scriptures, praying daily, and
fellowship with the saints, brings one closer to God. This
is your Spiritual food. “In this was manifested the love
of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten
Son into the world, that we might live through him. Beloved,
if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” 1
					John 4:9,11

					Never underestimate
God in anybody or in anything.
“I will bring the blind by a way
they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not
known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked
places straight. These things I will do for them, and not
					forsake them.”

					ISAIAH 42:16 (NKJ)

					One day the Holy
					Spirit
					spoke very clearly to me
saying, “Never underestimate God. Never underestimate God in
anything or anybody.” I immediately wanted to connect what
was said to what was going on in my life. I had been working
on a book which used Romans 8:28, “And we know that all
things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are the called according to His purpose.”
I know that scripture refers to a member of God’s Holy
Family, namely Providence, a Sovereignty. I believe there
are scriptures, which reference all of the Attributes,
Authorities, Sovereignties of God, or Fruits of the Spirit.
God can make crooked paths straight, oceans where there were
deserts. “He turns a wilderness into pools of water, and
dry land into water springs.” Psalm 107:35 He can make
what was meant for wrong or evil into good, making it
Perfect in the execution of His Will to His Glory. When your
situation looks dire and has been looking bad for years,
know God is setting you up for a great Miracle.

People often say the Bible was written by the most evil King
of England, the translations are imperfect or wrong, the
transliterations are poor, the Bible is the opiate of the
people, and was designed by the European white man to
control the poor of the world. I say, the Bible is the
Infallible Word of God and God’s Providence is activated
when His Called, His Children use it. Providence and God’s
Holy Family work together to allow us to receive from God
that which He has for us and for those we are destined to
touch. No matter the situation, the circumstance, what we
are doing, how we are doing it, or how long or short the
time of endurance, God through His Son Christ Jesus is in
the middle of your life. God is mightier, in control, and
does things in multifaceted ways none of us can ever
					imagine.

No matter what you are going through, have been going
through, in the future will be going through, God and His
Providence will be working with Christ Jesus on your behalf
to see you through. Jesus will never leave you! “I
will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
John 14:18 (KJV) Never underestimate God in your life!

 NEVER UNDERESTIMATE

					Introduce others to
					one another
					and be introduced as we
					expand our territories.
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the
water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the
Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is
my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’ ”

					MATTHEW 3:16-17
					(NIV)
					Your year of
					introduction is here!
					Jesus could
not function until He was introduced, “This
is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye Him.”
Matthew 17:5 (KJV) I feel strongly that our God is about
to introduce His sons and daughters around the world. Things
are changing fast and our God is commissioning His army to
take over the kingdoms of this world and make it the kingdom
of our God. The time for the world to feel the impact of the
Sons and Daughters of God is here. You and I are the Sons
and Daughters of His glory. The time of our introduction and
commissioning is here. It does not matter where you are –
ministry, business, public, or private service, He wants to
introduce you there and use you for His glory. You can’t
afford to miss out. Note however, that He introduces only
those in whom He is “well pleased.” May He be well pleased
					with you!

By the time you are introduced, people will hear you,
situations will hear you, everything that has shut its ears
against you, will hear you. Yes, they will mind you; listen
to you. They won’t have a choice, but to hear you.
Everything will begin to respond in your favor – promotions,
business contracts, choice jobs, and all manner of success
					will respond.

This is a good time to live, and be excited about the New
Year! Choose to become all that God created you to be.
Choosing the right direction, making the best decision,
doing the right thing, becomes a lot easier when you have
enough good information. There is no better information
about a product than the one that comes from the
manufacturer. Dearly beloved, Grace to you!

					Friday, 27 January 2006
					Your problems and
worries are not yours. Give them up!
“I have been crucified with Christ; it’s no longer I who
					live,

but Christ lives in me; and
the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the son
of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”GALATIANS 2:20 (KJV)

					No problems!
No Worries! Today in the every
aspect of the life people are growing up faster than ever
before. The same way they grow faster, they grow faster with
problems and worries! Growing up is a problem and growing up
fast worry people. Too much work is a problem; it worries
people. Having a big home, and/or a big family is a problem; it
worries people. Getting older is a problem; it worries people.

Men have everything at hand (available) to solve life’s
problems, but face a tougher time to find the solution to
solve the problem of “worries.” This is because people have
divided minds. James writes “A double minded man is
unstable in all his ways.” James.1:8 People are always
occupied with worrying, because they own their lives
according to what and how they understand. That is why they
always say, “My life is filled with problems. I have so many
					problems to deal with.”

Those who are in Christ are a new creation. The old life has gone
and the new life has come. If anyone is in Christ, he/she lives
no longer for him/herself, but for God. When you have
accepted Christ, you have been crucified with the Messiah.
As a Christian, problems, worries, and anxieties have gone.
They should be gone, because they belong to Christ.

But if you keep saying, “It’s my life. My
life. My life.” You are making a big mistake. And that
mistake is costing you the peace of God. My life—my
problems, go together. If it’s your life, then all of those
problems are yours also. If it’s not your life, then the
problems and worries are not yours either. Friends, let go
of your “My life” life. Start living your “His life” life because you
will find that living that way really has no problems and no
worries at all. God bless and keep you. Amen!
 NO PROBLEM!

					Stay focused on what
you believe is the direction for your life.
“You will know them by their
					fruits.

					Do
men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?MATTHEW 7:16 (NKJ)

					The D’s – 1.
These are some cookie crumbs to follow in your search to
determine if something or someone, if a decision or an
action, if a hope or prayer, or if a conversation or a
project is moving in the Spirit of God. The “D’s” work
together; they work as a tag team. “For
a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree
bear good fruit.” Luke 6:43 (NKJ)

 DISTRACTION: Things, people
(person), emotions, projects, promotions, wealth, work,
power, actions, or glory which come into your life to move
you away from your God-given assignment, your God-given
talent, and your God-purposed direction for your life and
the lives you are destined to touch.

 DECOY: These are distractions,
that which is placed in your life’s path which look
immediately or in the short-term like they are in your best
interest, but in the long-term they are setting you up for
failure and destruction. Examples are activities which
require little to no activity, activity which overly stress
you mentally for a long time, activity which twist your
emotions, activity which physically causes you pain. Your
focus is on the activity and not on your God-direction, your
God-purpose, or what you deep in your soul believe you are
supposed to be doing with your life.

DIVERSION: If you should be so
wise as to recognize “distraction” or “decoy,” what you
should look for is “diversion.” This will take you off the
trail of the enemy and make you focus on whatever has caused
the diversion. It will be a very strong physical, mental, or
emotional influence. It will generally attack you at one of
your points of fear, sin, weakness, or what it perceives as
					one of those areas.

 DELAY: One the heels of
“diversion” will be “delay.” Delay will put up obstacles and
roadblocks to God’s direction, goals, plans, purpose, and
His Will for your life. It is often disguised as “waiting on
the LORD.” It is not; it is delaying God in your life.

“Therefore by their fruits you will
					know them.” Matthew 7:20 (NKJ)

					When you receive a
child, your reward will be great in heaven.
“And Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the
					midst of them, and said,

‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and
					become as little children,
					you
will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.’ ” MATTHEW 18:2-3 (NKJ)

					Be Obedient.
I am Magarate Dagbe: 12 years old.
I am so grateful for the Children for Christ Ministries
taking me from the streets and providing free education for
me and my many friends. I have learned since being part of
this ministry that it is important to be obedient. It is
because of obedience from people who believe in God that
this ministry has established a school and has been doing a
lot of good things for my friends and I. (Ephesians
					6:1-2)

 Give Thanks In Everything.
I am Joseph Sackie: 12 years old and in the 3rd grade. Is it
a blessing for us as believers to be doing harm to the
others? Thanks to God Almighty for the wonderful things He
has done, by connecting me to the Children for Christ
Ministries. They have since been a blessing to me. I have
learned to give thanks to God for everything. Things had
been so bad with me, picking up things from the streets to
eat, not having foot wear, clothes; but thank God for this
					Ministry. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
 “Therefore whoever humbles himself
as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of
					heaven.” Matthew 18:4 (NKJ)

My name is Annie Bemah. I am 16 years of age and in the 5th
grade. Thank God for Uncle Sylvester who had been talking to
me to trust God and give Him thanks for everything and He
invited me to Bible study. And today I am going to free
school. Copies of books and pens are all given to me free. I
now know and believe that it is very important to give God
					thanks in everything. (Ephesians 5:20)

My name is Felecia Lincoln. I am 13 years of age and in the
K-II. My parents can’t make it to send me to school, but
thank God for the Children for Christ Ministries. I got to
know about them by one of the fathers in our yard. That’s
how I started going to Bible study and I am now in school.
Besides schooling us, they sometimes help us with clothes,
copy books and that alone makes me understand the teaching
of giving thanks to God for everything.

 “And whoever receives one little
child like this in My name receives Me.” Matthew 18:5

					Monday, January 30 2006 -
					Tuesday, 31 January 2006
					Today, do not take
chances on what JESUS is saying to you.
“And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias.

					And he was numbered with
					the eleven apostles.”ACTS 1:26 (NKJ)

					Sortilege.
Coincidence, happenstance, games of chance, lottery, and
gambling are some of the cousins of sortilege. Even worse
relatives are sorcery, divining, fortune telling,
witchcraft, and necromancy. Sortilege is the ancient family
of fortune telling using lots; witchcraft and/or sorcery. In
modern Christian homes, it looks like, “Let’s open the Bible
to see what scripture the LORD is giving us today.” The
Bible is opened to see what page it opens to and on what
scripture(s) our eyes or hand fall on.

This practice may be new to you, but in the early church
after chapter numbers and verse numbers were added to
scripture, this practice was used for soothsaying, making
life decisions, and divining one’s future. In ancient
Judaism, lots were used in decisions concerning sacrifice,
division of property or responsibility, war, and to
determine the person at fault. (Leviticus 16:8; Joshua
					18:6; 1 Samuel 14:42; Jonah 1:7) The practice was
outlawed in the early church. Many people today innocently
use this practice out of ignorance of the truth.

Before God sent His Son Jesus, there was typically one
person (the leader of Israel, the High Priest, or the
prophets) who communicated with God. They in turn told
others what God said. Sometimes they used lots religiously
or culturally to make decisions. After Jesus came and lived
in the flesh of a man, He was here to communicate with us,
(“…and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20) to
help us make proper decisions without lots.

The Lord JESUS speaks to us today in a small, still voice as
does the Holy Spirit. The Bible is here for us to study,
learn, and know. The Holy Spirit is here to communicate with
us and through us; to empower us with the Gifts of the
Spirit. Angels also are available in their service to us.
Therefore, there is no reason to use chance, lots, or any
type of sortilege or divination in your Christian lifestyle.
Sortilege or sortes biblicae amounts to sorcery, divination,
or witchcraft. Is there witchcraft being practiced in your
church? Or are you unknowingly and unwittingly practicing
witchcraft in your home? Today seek a personal relationship
with Jesus and the Holy Spirit whereby they speak to you in
your heart, mind, and spirit. Selah!
