We can never know who we really are until

we know who God is and what His Word says concerning us.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

ST. JOHN 8:31-32 (KJV)

L

ife in the word. “Continuity is the key” as we continue in the Word… then we will come to a clear understanding of the potency of the Truth and its burden-removing and yoke-destroying capacity. Our success is God’s pleasure. God will do nothing outside His Word. He is watching over His Word to perform it. When the Word is received, understood, and obeyed, there will always be outstanding results. Peter walked on his storm on one Word from Jesus…. And the word is COME!!!

Our lifting (success, ascension) in life is tied to the authority of the Scriptures that cannot lie or be broken. It is incumbent upon us to do a daily search and meditation in God’s Word in order to discern the best from the good, the truth from error, light from darkness, and more. This is a non-transferable daily responsibility.

Without God’s Word, we cannot live a balanced life. We must be developed in three capacities (spirit, mind/soul, and body)  to measure up with the pressure and attacks from Hell. Daniel was well balanced in these three areas. That is why he outlived three kings because:

1.   He was choosy about the kind of food he ate. Daniel 1:8 – Body

2.   He was 10 times better than all the magicians and wise men in Babylon because he took his education seriously. Daniel 1:3-4,17-21 – Mind/Soul

3.    He was also delivered from the lion’s den because he was prayerful and searched the Scriptures. Daniel 6:10; 9:2 – Spirit.

Focusing on one or two of these areas will not yield good results in one’s life. Our freedom from low self esteem, diseases, worries, fear of the unknown, poverty, deceit, stress, trauma,  confusion,  generational strongholds, curses, and bondage to sin and Satan is tied to our receiving and understanding the Word of God. It is the entrance of the Word in our lives (by believing and doing the Word) that gives light and understanding...  We can never know who we really are until we know who God is and what His word says concerning us. When John the Baptist was asked who are you. He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,” (John 1:23) He was not confused about his identity.

When our Word level is low, we can easily be carried away by the tide of the world. Increase your word level daily and it shall be well with you. (Psalms1:1-3)

INCREASE THE WORD IN YOU DAILY

Everyone has an excuse for where they are, who they are, for what they are doing,

and why they are in their situation.  What is your excuse?

“Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man Whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

ACTS 17:31 (AMP)

J

udging by a True Standard - 4.  Please read Judging by a True Standard - 3; Monday, 19 February 2007. Judge not, for the measure with which we judge others is the measure by which we will be judged. (Matthew 7:1-2) Jesus also said, Use righteous judgment when you judge. (John 7:24) Well which is it? The important thing here among other things is that Jesus said this—Christ Jesus. He is the standard by which we all will be judged by God. (Acts 17:31)

When I tell people what eBlessings does, concerning the African poor, the orphans, and destitute families, many African Americans reply; “I hope you doing something for Black folks here.” Or “What you doing for Black folks here?” Or “You know Africans are the ones who sold us into this American bondage.” Or “Africans can take care of themselves, they just have corrupt governments.” Blah, blah, blah; the army taught me this: Everyone has an excuse, just like they have a behind. Everyone has an excuse not to do something, why they said a thing—or not, and someone to blame it on.

Everyone has an excuse for where they are not, who they are not, what they are not doing, and why they are not who they are supposed to be, why they are not where they are supposed to be, and why they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. Evil is in every country—don’t forget that. It must be defeated everywhere it dares to show its ugly face. Remember, AFRICA (Egypt) is “THE” place of REFUGE. That is why it is the country with the most natural resources and that is why EVIL has attacked Africa and continues to attack Africa and her children to this day. (Matthew 2:13-15; Acts 7:17) There can be no future without children.

Another thing I hear is: “We got starving people over here in the United States.” Listen: there are 40,000 people in America who have food insecurity (do not know from where the next meal is coming). But there are churches every few blocks in the US cities; there are social programs—sponsored by churches, local government, private citizens, and others which cater to the less privileged and the disenfranchised. Worldwide there are 400 million people who have food insecurity (400,000,000) and remember: To whom much is given, much is required.” There are not organizations in most countries to handle the food insecurity issues they have… that is where you and I come in.

We must never lose our dependence on the Lord. Our lives are far more important than what we do.

But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

ACTS 26:16 (KJV)

No one is here by chance on this Earth. The Lord loves you with all His heart. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to redeem you and give meaning and essence to your life. That is what our salvation is all about – 1. Salvation from sin; 2. Healing to our spirit, soul and body; 3. Deliverance from the power of the devil; 4. Protection from all harm; 5. Prosperity in every area of our life; 6. Wholeness and 7. Total victory in the Lord.

Life itself has three main categories – Reality, Purpose, and Power. If a person does not have Reality (appeared unto thee; hast seen; I will appear unto thee) – that’s not life, but Mere Existence. Life is an aggressive thing, not stagnant, and apathetic. We have to press forward always, so we can catch Him – otherwise we might as well lie down and sleep till we die. Then comes Purpose – what thing can be called Life, that does not have a purpose. Everything that God has given life to has a purpose. Every person that has ever been born on this Earth has been born with God’s Divine and Perfect Purpose to fulfill a given mandate in life. And again, we have to do everything we can (pray, fast, seek, knock, praise, worship, adore, magnify, glorify, ask, consecrate, separate, etc.), so we can touch God, and find that Purpose for which He has given us our lives (appeared unto thee for this purpose).

Someone said that he saw a light in the tunnel, and it was the light from the coming train. Of course, he said that in the negative sense, but I have a positive comparison - When the train of our Lord hits you, you’ll never be the same again. But we have to continue walking in this dark tunnel, because the train is always headed towards us. The faster we go forward, never looking back, the sooner we’ll meet Him. We’ll be drawn to a head-on collision with His light, which will definitely bring Reality, and Purpose. And lastly, a life full of Reality and Purpose will definitely produce Power – Power to transform us first, and then those around us (to turn them from darkness to Light, and from the POWER of satan unto God).

The soul withers and shrinks when starved of God’s Word and relationship with Jesus Christ.

“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed,

let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed:

let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.”

PSALMS 25:2-3 (KJV)

Standing Still. Stand fast and behold the Goodness and Glory of the Lord God Almighty! When God prompts us to Stand Still, it does not mean for us to be complacent or stagnant. Standing still is a command from the Lord of Hosts and requires action on the part of God’s people!

God says “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted in the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) God’s Word is plain and without fault, apology, or excuses. HE is letting us know that we are to come into agreement with His Divine Will and Purposes for our lives by way of the Holy Spirit. God is calling us out of our schedules and itineraries so we are not so caught up and consumed by our appointments and pre-planned agendas until we miss our appointments/meetings with Him, the Lord God Almighty. God wants to talk with us everyday so that HE may set the course of our days. HE is a jealous God and does not want our leftover time or only to be acknowledged when we are overwhelmed by our own vices, devices, and stupidity.

HE alone is the Lord of Hosts. When we, in our own human frailties stop trying to fit God into our timelines instead of inviting God to order, guide, and direct our footsteps according to His Perfect Will, it is then when we shall clearly understand what is meant when HE tells us to “Be still and know that HE is God…” Now that you have heard His command and understand His requirements--WILL YOU HEARKEN TO HIS VOICE AND OBEY? Obedience is greater than sacrifice!

Avec Dieu l'impossible devient possible ! With God the impossible becomes possible!

“For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.”

HEBREWS: 6 13-14 (KJV)

Soit fidele a l' eternel.

With God the impossible becomes possible!

“For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.”

HEBREWS: 6 13-14 (KJV)

God promises a child
to Abraham and He asks that Abraham expect the child (not only the child, but the nation). "You will be called more than Abram." My brother, my sister, if you walk in integrity in front of the face of God, He will fill you with all His graces for your hard work.

Remember one thing, that the promises of God for you are inviolate, precise and impermeable. Sara had a child at an advanced age, in menopause. That is to say He is eternally faithful. It is true that in life valleys exist, but know that time does not present an obstacle. For God, if it has been promised, it will be realized because “He does not lie.” (Numbers 23:19)

Retain the dreams of God; never forget that you are of the race of God. Sometimes it is a test that you cross. The promise(s) of God on you will be realized, but God your Creator has prepared a plan of happiness and peace for you. The plan is that you will be happy on the same ground, if you live on hard times or not.

Remember this, you will be reassured and you will forget your days of shame and rejection because He will fill your heart with joy. Renew your confidence in the eternal. Remember how good God is. He is faithful and His promise for you is inviolate and unbreakable.

God of the Bible is a competent God. He will change your stature. He will change your name. He will change your situation. He will change the desert of life into a kitchen garden. The impossible will become possible, say amen! God Bless you.

Trees cannot grow strong to weather the storms life offers, if their roots are not deep in the soil life provides.

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:”

PSALM 66:18 (KJV)

Standard - 1. Throughout the Bible, there are examples where the LORD raises a standard by which to judge the people and to bring forth His chastisement and correction, i.e., judgment. The person raised up as the standard was not by any means perfect, but they sought to live their lives seeking to do God’s Will, to follow God’s Commands, Commandments, Precepts, Laws, and that which He spoke into their lives. Abraham, Moses, Joseph, David, and Daniel are only a few.

When we are in the middle of a bad situation, remember, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5c; “for the Lord thy God is with thee.” Joshua 1:9c. In whatever circumstance we find ourselves remember that as we move to live in God’s Will and as God positions us to live in His Will, then life’s circumstances and God’s Holy Family and all Creation will be moving upon us to make God’s Will happen in our present day experiences. God has answered our prayers!

This means: things which we don’t expect to happen will be happening. This also means: that the enemies of God realizing that we do not understand that God is perfecting His Will in our lives, plants seeds in our minds, hearts and spirits of disbelief so we will not grasp Jesus’ hand and know that the Lord is perfecting His Will in our lives and answering our prayers in accordance with His Will for our lives and the lives we touch.

Being the standard, means we will go through God’s refining fire which perfects His Will in our lives, so we can be the standard which He requires to execute His Precepts, Laws, Principles and His Powers. Do not look at the plank in our neighbors’ eyes, but remove the ones out of our own eyes. Our lives will then have the impact God wants on all of Creation.

B.E.L.I.E.V.E. – Because Emmanuel Lives I Expect Victory Everytime!

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:…”

HOSEA 4:6a (KJV)

Balance. Balance is important in life. Day and night, life and death, husbands and wives, peace and war, sorrow and joy, storm and calm, man and woman, cold and hot, the list can go on and on; ying and yang, dusk and dawn, hate and love.

Know this. There is not balance in single parenting. This is not to say that single parenting is a bad thing, but I am saying it is unbalanced. God gave us balance. He also gave us the example of family or relationship balance in Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve or Adam and Adam, not Eve and Eve, not Eve only or Adam only. Balance in nature, balance in life, balance in relationships, whether at home, work, school or play.

I am not gay-bashing or single-mother bashing. I want us to think about and consider balance in our lives; not only in relationship but in all aspects of our lives. Not eating too much, not watching too much television, not reading too many horror books, not going to every sports event--balance. Not desiring the latest new fad or having too many boyfriends or girlfriends, not having sex every night in every position--balance.

Not going to church every time the doors open and letting your family go to hell; not believing on every word the pastor is preaching, but reading your Bible--balance. Balance is a simple thing that has powerful implications. A tightrope walker who varies his or her balance the slightest degree can fall to their death. Examine your life and evaluate the spiritual, mental, and physical balances.

Life is a tightrope of sorts. If we move the wrong direction, it can mean your death, your family's death and the death of your community. Balance in life is not only important but necessary!

When people are in the dark, their eyes are closed to God and their spirits are light deprived.

"as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;”

LUKE 1:70-71 (KJV)

Pushing to the Limit. We have a tendency to push things to the limit. This means several things to different people. It means your employee or teenager will push the limit to see how far they can go before you reel them back. It means the toddler will touch the hot cup or hot food until they realize that it burns. It also means that I want to be the first man to travel around the world in a hot air balloon, or glider, airplane or with only a parachute.

In life, we push to the limit all the time. Some people stay in the bed until the last minute and rush to work. Some people push on through that traffic light which is no longer yellow. Others will over-extend their credit or buy a house or car, which is truly out of their reach. This is pushing the limits in slothfulness, rushing and poor planning. Utilize wisdom. Push to the right limits.

I am talking about pushing the limit to have God, “prove Himself now.” Malachi 3:10c. We Christians know that tithes and offerings represent more than just money, but covenant. I am saying push your covenant with God to the limit. Prove God in your life. Do not bargain with Him; He will not respond. Push your Christian walk to the limit; this does not mean put your tithes and offering on your already over-extended credit card—no! I am talking about true covenant not money. Walk the walk of Jesus; visit the sick, go to nursing homes, minister to the less fortunate.

Follow God’s Commandments (the Big Ten), His Commands (when He speaks—what you may be calling intuition), and His Direction (what you call circumstance or coincidence) and allow God to prove Himself in your life. Follow God! He is real! He is real in your life today. He is around all the time. Prove Him now!

Information can be gained through education, but Wisdom comes from the Lord.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

MATTHEW 21:22 (KJV)

What Just Happened? Think about the last time you asked that question. More often than not, it was when something did not go the way you expected. Something happened which rocked (disturbed, interrupted) your world. It had an impact that was both unexpected and emotionally moving, either good or bad. Something just happened. Now the question is: What was it?

Things happen all the time, both positive and negative. It is important to know if it is positive, it is probably from the Lord and if it is bad, it is probably from the enemies of God. Check your perception of the event and check the short-term and long-term results of the event. This will give you reference to this event, future events like this one and similar events in the future.

People make decisions all the time. Life is full of decisions. When one of these “What just happened?” events occur in your world, then before you make a decision, often a life-changing decision, determine what happened before you open your mouth and speak into the trouble which the event is creating. We can speak (plant seeds) of life into the event, or we can speak (plant seeds) of death into the event. Since most events involve people, then be sure to speak life into the lives of those involved.

When something happens that effects our world, pray to Jesus about it. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom in the situation. Do not let emotions rule the day, but the wisdom of God. Emotions will often take us down the wrong path and those emotions will soon dissipate. Use wisdom and logic to determine what each person’s motivation is and what they gain from the action or inaction. Seek God and ask —What would Jesus do?

Develop relationship with those who challenge us to grow, not those who encourage us to remain where we are!

" And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha,

Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee.

And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.”

2 KINGS 2:9 (KJV)

Stick with it! Don’t give up! I know you have been working on your idea, your project, or on your mission for a long time. Many of us have been there, working day in and day out, night in and night out, sometimes with seemingly no progress. Don’t stop now!

Some of us have placed that project on hold, have wondered if our efforts are in vain. They are not in vain. God is watching. Some of us have placed that idea in the drawer or have placed our ideas in a shoe box in the closet, or have stopped applying the energy you should on your mission. Go get your ideas and dust them off, re-think them and push forward. Get excited about your work. Get energized about success. It is right around the corner. Don’t stop now! Try and try again! Your project, your mission, may not be for your benefit, but the future benefit of your children, someone else’s children or for a whole nation. Pick up your step, dust off your work, get motivated, be energized, and get or keep God involved in your project. Make it a God project—it is.

Like the little steam engine, attempting to go up the hill, instead of saying, “I think I can, I think I can,” say “I know I can. I know I can. I can with God’s help.” If God is for us, who can stand against us. God is standing with us. He is on our side. The moral of the Aesop’s fable of the tortoise and the hare is “slow and steady wins the race.” Every day do a little work on your project. Just like ants, be methodical, use team work and work hard. Time is an ally and persistence is the irresistible force, which breaks through the obstacles of frustration, hopelessness and isolation. Don’t stop working on your God-given mission, idea or work He has assigned to you. God is with you! The enemies of God want you to think otherwise. God will inspire you and motivate you through incentives to let you know that He is indeed part and parcel of what you are doing. Know God is with you!

Freedom is believing in the Truth!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

so that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

JOHN 3:16 (KJV)

Are you really living like you really believe in God? In life, we believe what we want to believe. In the movie industry, there is a term called the “suspension of disbelief.” This means they get you to believe the impossible. They get you to turn off your “disbelief” of a specific action, thought, event, or movie element. We believe something we never experienced before. We stop saying, “I can’t believe that,” when something ridiculously impossible occurs; or “I don’t believe that.”

The enemies of God use this same technique in reverse. They attempt to turn off our belief—to get us to believe what we can touch, not what we can’t see. What we see is real to us. When was the last time you touched love? Do you believe that angels exist? When was the last time you called on an Angel of God: Michael, Raphael, or Gabriel? Do we believe in God? Why keep living the way you do? Talking the way you do? Allowing children to starve, shiver and die? You don’t believe that there are fallen angels, demons, or enemies of God. Why don’t you bind them, rebuke them and put them in place at work, at home and at church?

One of the reasons we go through so much adversity in our lives is because the Lord is getting us to develop belief in Him and relationship with Him. We say we believe, but we don’t act like we believe. The woman with the 12-year “issue of blood” believed her healing was to happen (not going to happen) WAS TO HAPPEN if she touched Jesus. Don’t live in a 12-year ordeal before you believe! Believe now! Be honest in your belief. Ask the Lord to help you in that area—He will.

You believe the floor will be there when you get up out of the bed. You believe the gas in your car will get to the motor and you believe without any understanding that your voice on the telephone will travel around the world in seconds. The spiritual world exits whether you want to believe it or not. Think in “belief” and change yourself. Speak in “belief” and change your neighbor. Act in “belief” and change your neighborhood. Live in “belief” and change the world! Believe what is real—is real.

God is asking: Where are you now?

"And the Lord called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou?

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked;

and I hid myself. "

GENESIS 3:9-10 (KJV)

In Genesis, the Bible talks about the first man and woman (Adam and Eve) and their first sin due to temptation. When satan (the snake) had managed to deceive the woman, her husband, Adam, was faced with a situation of disobedience and shame. He had an opportunity to make a good choice. He made a decision, which was a poor one. In fact, he made several decisions which were not the best. He decided to hide as he realized he was naked and that he was wrong in what he had done.

We remember that God asked him, “Where are you?” (Genesis 9) Adam replied, “I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Then God asked again, “Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you should not eat?” Adam replied, “The woman whom you gave me to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.”

In fact all these responses are not straightforward. Adam should have immediately accepted responsibility and said, “I am here, oh God forgive me because I have eaten of the forbidden tree.” In our daily life we should avoid evasive responses. God is asking every one of us, “Where are you?” You may return to Jesus and receive Him as your Savior in your life. God doesn't dislike the sinners but hates the sins. God loves you and accepts you as you are.

Ignoring life's tough decisions do not make them go away.

“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood—contending only with physical opponents—but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”

EPHESIANS 6:12 (AMP)

F

ighting Spiritual Battles - 3. Please read Fighting Spiritual Battles – 2; 24 February 2007 before continuing. A person called me who was having a “bad” day. They attended a lukewarm church which does not preach nor teach how to be victorious in spiritual living, only some aspects of living righteously in a world of sin. They may sound as if the church members of this church are okay in there teachings. We are in a spiritual conflict and as such, we must live, think, and act as if this is true.

I was not having the best day myself, so when this person said to me that they were having a bad day, I thought, 1) There is no “bad” day with the LORD, and 2) I noted another witness to what I was to do. The LORD had be dealing with me concerning people who do not know their position with God, with Jesus and therefore when they called, it took me a moment to realize that they and I were on a course for a “spiritual connection.” The LORD had been dealing with me and then the person called. I knew that everytime I went to there location, I was drained spiritually when I left. They were complaining about being drained spiritually; I could relate, and I knew I had to speak about the tough thing—the though conversation. I had my head in the sand long enough trying to ignore this issue. It is amazing how things will not go away if you ignore them, they are still there in some form or fashion when we finally take our heads out of the sand.

It is important that we approach the spiritual war in which we are in through: 1) Preparation (not only read, but study the Bible, church attendance), 2) Knowledge and understanding of who you are in the Kingdom, and 3) Action, by following God’s, Jesus’ Commands, Commandments, and Ordinances. As I explained to this person how to approach the battle they were in, unknown to me, a log I had in the fireplace (a triangular log) tried to roll out of the fireplace. The metal grate stopped it (or shall I say an Angel). This confirmed that I was definitely on the right track with this person. Also, the enemy had a call come through which ended our conversation before I was finished.

It is important to know that we are in a spiritual battle. When we were born, we were born into a spiritual battle and we had not chosen sides. The actions of our flesh and spirit battle for our souls. When we decide to become Christians, we declared whose side we are on. So if we are currently getting beaten up spiritually, consider what Jesus would do in our situations.

We must check our armor to ensure it is on correctly and that we know how to use it.

“Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground

on the evil day [of danger], and having done all [the crises demands], to stand [firmly in your place],”

EPHESIANS 6:13 (KJV)

F

ighting Spiritual Battles - 4.  It is important to know that we are born into a spiritual battle…correction—born into myriad, multiple spiritual conflicts, engagements, fights, battles, skirmishes, combat, hostility, wars, interruptions, delays, decoys, dissensions, disagreement, opposition, and misdirections which more often than not occur in intersecting patterns and not always waiting for one battle to end before another conflict arises.

It is an on-going, viral, penetrating, and spiritually uplifting experience to be in spiritual conflict—this is an indicator of our being or not being in God’s Will for our lives.  When we are in the heart of God’s Will, the enemy will not be happy and will come against you with all their might (this will be those unclean spirits which the Bible talks about but people pick and choose what to believe, not believe, ignore, and choose not to fight against. In other words, if we do not believe or know we are being attacked from outside spiritual forces, we will not act spiritually or physically to counter the attack.

Here’s how to win the attacks for new Christians or backslidden Christians:

1) Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

2) Read and believe your Bible,

3) Attend a God-fearing church,

4) Follow the communications from the Holy Spirit (dual witness required), and

5) read “Growing Our Spirit Soul.”

Here’s how to win the attacks for seasoned Christians; how to stand:

1) Put on the whole, the complete… all of God’s Armor for us; not just part of it. (Ephesians 6:13) When we do this, we realize we have incredible confidence (“Christ Confidence”) and we stand on Christ’s spiritually high ground. We get the ability to resist and withstand the evil attack all day long or the duration of the conflict, and we can do all that is required during this time. Even in failure, we know we have victory in Christ;

2) Protect our most vulnerable areas of our lives, our weak areas, the areas in our lives where the enemy knows we are low on energy with the Truth (Ephesians 6:14)

3) Protect our strong areas in our lives through readiness, strength, and endurance.

We have to ingest the Truth (God’s Word) to the extent it is in our intestines, in our guts; and so much that it is a part of our creative ability, it is a part of our being—it is a component of everything we produce (no matter who it is produced for) (Ephesians 6:14). Protection is done through expectation (looking for the enemy because he is coming), preparation (getting ready for an attack), and security (being confident in the outcome) (Romans 8:28). Please look for Fighting Spiritual Battles-5.

Have a blessed day!

Be quick to repent, quick to forgive, quick to believe, and quick to act on the Bible –

these four things will make you a successful Christian.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 (KJV)

Many people take this verse and try to rest assured that nothing will ever happen to them, which they are not able to bear. Well, that’s not what this verse is saying at all. I mean, it is clear and beyond any doubt, that many times things happen to people, which are more than what they can bear, and many eventually fall because of these things. Others get offended at the Lord, saying: “Why has this happened to me, since the Lord is saying in 1 Corinthians 10:13: “…ye may be able to bear it.” But here’s the shocking thought: We don’t have the ability and strength to bear ANY temptation that comes our way - ALONE.

The key part to understanding this Scripture is: “but will with the temptation (which means temptation will come) also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Temptations are inevitable, and without the Lord, we are not able to go through ANY of them. So, what we must do is: the moment the temptation comes, we are to seek the Lord for the way of escape. In other words, seek His wisdom, His grace and mercy, His ability, and His strategy. When we do, He is faithful to provide all this in the time we need them (“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5; “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16)

Whatever one does, let him do it to the best of his ability,

aiming toward excellence in God, not perfection of man.

“For the Scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”

ROMANS 9:17 (KJV)

Balance – 2.  Balance is a prerequisite in life. Wherever we lack balance in one area of our lives, it spills over into other areas. For example: We as people of God, especially SPIRITUAL WARRIORS, may want to help and save everyone we come across with a problem or crisis. However, in error of judgment, lack of discernment, or being immature or naïve in the Body of Christ one can easily get ensnared in the visible and invisible traps of the enemy.

Before we, as believers go off on a “Holy Crusade” to wage war against the powers of darkness and all the ills and woes of the world, we must make sure that God Almighty is directing our paths and we are following His instructions while being led by the Holy Spirit. When we lack follow-through and commitment, we may injure those that we may desperately desire to help. We must be keen in recognizing if the person we desire to help is his own worst enemy. Although we may be well meaning, unfortunately we are unable to rescue a person from himself or herself and their patterns of destructive behavior that are often self-induced. In such cases, only the Holy Spirit can break off the bondage, deliver them, and set them free. Pray always and do not enable them in their disobedience to the Lord, to you and your family.

In the interim, we must make certain that while we are busy with kingdom works, we are not glorifying the flesh through selfish motives and hidden agendas. First and foremost, we must be diligent as believers in the body of Christ to serve as faithful stewards over those things that God has entrusted us with, primarily our own families. When we put God first, family second, and the church next, we are then in a better position to assist others—our house is in order. In the Bible 1 TIMOTHY 5:8 states: “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (Strong’s Hebrew & Greek Dictionary, {infidel: origin: Greek – apistos: heathen, unbeliever}

Let us do good to others to receive God’s blessing.

"Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each others burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

GALATIANS 6:1-2 (NIV)

Do Good We can do good to ourselves by attending to the needs of each other through:

1.  RESTORATION

"Brothers if someone is caught in a sin you who are spiritual should restore him gently." Galatians 6:1; "Brethren, if any person is over taken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual -- who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit -- should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also." Galatians 6:1 (AMP)   We can restore by way of counseling, intercession and identifying weakness (Romans 15:1-2).  "We who are strong [in our convictions and of robust faith] ought to bear with the failings and the frailties and the tender scruples of the weak. --  We ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others -- and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us make it to a practice to please (make happy) his neighbor for his good and for his true welfare, to edify him -- that is, to strengthen him and build him up spiritually." Romans 15: 1-2 (AMP)

2.  SEE OTHER'S PROBLEMS AS OURS

"Carry each others burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2; 2 Kings 4: 9-10, 16, 17-35.  "Bear (endure, carry) one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ, the Messiah, and complete "what is lacking  [in your obedience to it]." Galatians 6:2 (AMP)

3.  WE SHOULD NOT BE WEARY IN DOING GOOD

Let us not be weary in doing good for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.(1 Kings 17:10-15)  "She did as Elijah said; and she, and he, and her household ate many days. The jar of meal was not spent nor did the bottle of oil fail, according to the word which the Lord spoke by Elijah." 1 Kings 17:15-16 (AMP)

When standing in conflict, know—Christ Jesus is standing with you.

“And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability,

EPHESIANS 6:15 (AMP)

F

ighting Spiritual Battles - 5. Please read Fighting Spiritual Battles – 4; 15 March. Please note Ephesians 6: the discussion concerns physical armor for a spiritual battle and spiritual armor for a physical battle.

When we were born, we were born into a spiritual battle and we had not chosen sides. The actions and words of our flesh and spirit battle for our souls. When we decide to become Christians, we declared whose side we are on. So if we are currently getting beaten up spiritually, mentally, physically, or emotionally, consider what Jesus the Christ would do in the situation. We must go into battle, into any and all conflicts with our physical armor intact (preparation) and our spiritual armor on (knowledge of spiritual things).

Here’s how to win the attacks from the enemies of God and man for seasoned Christians (Ephesians 6:13-18); how to stand:

4) We must put on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS (right standing with God); not our righteousness, but the Righteousness of Christ Jesus. Our righteousness is like filthy rags—not good enough (Ephesians 6:14).

5) We must live in an atmosphere, attitude, and lifestyle of PEACE expressed in our words and actions. Not only are we to live in peace, but are to prepare to live and exist in peace—the Peace of the Gospel. Our lives must reflect the Attributes of the Peace of Christ  through tolerance, understanding, love, patience, gentleness, forgiveness, and other Characteristics of God. Our direction (feet) must be heading towards peace (Ephesians 6:15).

6) We must BELIEVE in our hearts (emotion) with an unwavering faith. Our hearts must be fixed on God, Christ Jesus, and His Will. We must emote FAITH with our hearts and believe with our minds. Any and all negativity from the enemy will be repelled by our faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 6:15).

7) We must KNOW (not only believe), but must know (brain, mind) that Christ Jesus died for us and not matter what the enemy tells us we have done wrong or what we believe we have done which stops us from being saved, mentally we must know and live as though Jesus has paid the price for all our iniquity. Therefore no weapon formed against us shall prosper, so we go into battle knowing we have the victory and if we should die in battle, heaven awaits us (Ephesians 6:17).

8) In our hands (action) is the Bible, the living WORD of God. Not only is the Word in our hands (what we do), but our minds (thinking), our hearts (feelings), our feet (where our lives are heading), our guts (our weak and strong tender places), our creativity (reproduction); completely encompassing our lives. (Ephesians 6:17).

Have a blessed day!

Restoration begins with forgiveness and reconciliation.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten; the cankerworm, and the caterpillar,

and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

JOEL 2:25 (KJV)

Restoring for Kingdom Advancement. In order to advance God’s kingdom, we need information (WORD OF GOD), for it is the only information that brings reformation. Due to the 41years of war, thousands of Liberians have left the country, seeking refuge and lavishing in displacement camps. While others remain in Liberia and have been reduced to nothing, finally losing their taste for God’s kingdom. But I let them know that God has not forgotten them, for He will restore to them the years that were lost. (Joel 2:26) They will begin to understand God’s plan for their lives. (Joel 2:27) In order to advance God’s kingdom, we need to reconcile our differences. Some of us had experienced bitterness from people who have afflicted us with frustration and left us with severe pain. We need to reconcile, until we can do that, the Kingdom of God will never be advanced.

Testimony: A lady said, during the war, the rebels raped her in front of her husband, threatening him with death if he tried to rescue her. After the rape, she went to her husband for love and care, but unfortunately, she was rejected on the grounds that he could not live with the shame.

She tried begging him, but he refused to listen. He asked her to leave his life. She had no option but to go to the displacement camp. After a few weeks, she realized that she was pregnant. The situation was very appalling, so she decided to look for her husband. When she found him, he threatened her that if she loves herself, she must stop bothering him or else it will be different. She went back to her dwelling place at the displacement camp.

After several months, she had a bouncing baby boy. The situation at the camp was very bad, as the baby fell sick with malaria and cold often. So she decided to leave the camp and find a place for better health. Now the baby is doing well and is about two years old. Where the lady is doing some odd jobs, she is always seeing those guys that raped her. This is really disturbing her life as she can never forgive them. She said sometimes she even want to kill them but the law will take her to task, but when she heard the WORD OF GOD as to kingdom advancement, she was moved and asked the church to pray along with her. Presently, we are working with her and ask that you pray along with us. The Lord is doing a mighty work through His grace. The Lord bless and keep you in peace with the HOLY SPIRIT.

God believes you can be—are—victorious in your circumstances.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

praying always with all prayer and supplication for all the saints—”

 EPHESIANS 6:18 (KJV)

F

ighting Spiritual Battles - 6.  Please read Fighting Spiritual Battles–5.  It is important to know that when we are saved (we enlist, join, sign up with) we are placed in the ARMY of the LORD and are thrust into not only a spiritual war but thrust into the knowledge of a spiritual war existing.  The spiritual and physical are cyclic and therefore we are in a physical war also. Our understanding is further allowed to receive that once born on this earth, we are born into a battle between the flesh and spirit, the carnal vs. eternal, good vs. evil, right vs. wrong, and the responsibility to act to correct and defeat evil.

Finally, here are the last points on how to win the attacks from the enemies of God and man for seasoned Christians (Ephesians 6:13-18); how to stand:

9) PRAYING ALWAYS. (Ephesians 6:18) How does one do that? (Proverb 3:6) Tell Jesus about everything and clear it through Him.

10) Supplication (prayer) with EMOTION, with feeling, in earnest prayer and humility. (Ephesians 6:18)…meaningful prayer, the “I wish for” prayer.

11) Prayer conducted in the SPIRIT…with the Spirit, in the Spirit, through the Spirit even when you do not know whether you have the Holy Spirit or not. When the Spirit comes over you, do not quench the Spirit (1 Thess. 5:19).

12) PERSEVERANCE in private prayer.  (Matthew 23:14)

13) Prayer directed towards other SAINTS. “…for all the saints—” Not selfish-motivated, hedonistic prayer, but unselfish ones (James 4:3).

The trials and tribulations in our lives are not so much a part of the devil or evil attacking us, or our making mistakes, or making poor decisions. Trials, obstacles, oppositions, tribulations, challenges in our lives help to develop our spirits in preparation to go to Heaven. They help to grow our spiritual lives while here on earth. God knows that once we join His Army, He will equip us—a spiritual army for spiritual battles. God has hope and faith that we will come to His party—to His Spiritual party—that we will join His Team. God believes in us. He believes in our ability to be victorious. We should appreciate God’s faith in our ability to emulate, to follow, to be like His Beloved Son and bring supernatural change to a spiritual world.

We should never make any commitment outside our area of influence.

“Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.”

ECCLESIASTES 5:5 (KJV)

Responsible for everything. We do not have to be responsible for everything that happens around us. You must know that though people hate the word "No," yet it is still a word you must hear from the mouth of those who knows their area of influence.

They understand their calling. You call it purpose. They understand their purpose. The little child in every one of us hates to hear the word “NO”. You have to say “No” to some things, so you can stay focused on what matters. No, means you are doing your own thing, not somebody else doing it for you.

Know this:
1. No is sign of maturity.
2. No is a symbol of discipline.
3. No is a decision.
4. No makes you stay focused.
5. No allows you to be who you are.
6. No helps you to order your life.

Do not make a commitment you don't intend to keep. Take time to say “No” to something outside your influence. No, prevents your life from going in too many directions at once.

Before a person sets out to uncover/expose the wrongs and woes of another,

they must make certain that they have nothing to hide!

“As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish;

because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.”
DEUTERONOMY 8:20
(KJV)

Inside, Outside, and Beside SELF. Contrary to the way most of society has been reared, which is to look out for self first and self most, this is not GOD’s Way. This beast of human nature is called selfishness. The instinct that all people are born with is the survival instinct, or self-preservation. As we go about in our day to day lives, being consumed by worry, anxiety and stresses of every kind, we tend to be lead and mislead by what we see in the natural, while walking by faith just gets pushed aside because of pride of life and circumstances.

When we think of others more than ourselves, now we are on God’s agenda. God says to love our neighbors/brothers as ourselves, not more or less than ourselves. Romans 13:8, Matthew 5:43,44  God’s love for humanity is a demonstration of functioning outside self. God has given us free will to choose life instead of death, blessings instead of cursing. As God’s hands extended, we are to give to others out of what we have. We are called to be an OUTREACH to the world, not an IN-REACH.

Last but not least, those of us (all of us from time to time) get besides ourselves. When getting besides ourselves, we behave contrary to our norm -- usually in times of adversity. However, getting besides ourselves is deemed as double-mindedness! The word of God clearly states that “A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways.” James 1:8 (KJV) So, conduct a Spiritual evaluation today: Are you Inside Self, (SELFISH), Outside Self (God’s Hands Extended), or Besides Self (Double Minded)?

Our motivation serves as a landmark. A landmark serves as a boundary mark, as a guide; a distinguishing fact or event; a milestone or a TURNING POINT! A landmark lets you know where you have been, where you are going, and where you currently are. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you your SELF-MOTIVATION!

Don’t make God have to take His Protecting Hands off of you.

“When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices;

and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.”

PROVERBS 11: 10 (KJV)

The LORD told you. When the Lord has told you to do a thing, then do it! Do not procrastinate or waste time; just do it! If it is not the time yet to do it and you know it, then wait, preparing for that which the Lord has spoken into your life. Not what someone else has told you (from the Lord), I am talking about when the Lord has planted a thing in your heart, mind, spirit to do; when He has spoken something into your life.

These brothers told me that the Lord had told them to do something and that they hadn’t done it. I love the Lord God Almighty. I have a healthy love for God, but like I told these brothers, “I believe my fear of the Lord is greater than my love for the Lord.” “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Psalm 111:10 What were they waiting on?

One brother told me that the Lord had told him (Commanded him) to minister to inmates in prison. He said that because he had been in prison that he could help young people in prison to survive the system and receive their salvation. He said that he knew that God would put him back in prison to fulfill that mission if he didn’t do it (the mission) on his own. I know another brother who told me that the Lord told him (Command) that he was going to die if he didn’t put the drugs down. What is the Lord going to do with these guys? If the Lord told you (Commanded you) to do a thing, do it! Do it just like the Lord told you.

Deuteronomy 28:15-57 tells what will happen if we do not follow God’s Commands, His Commandments. The fellows told me that through Jesus we have grace and mercy. Yes that is true. It is like this though. When we do wrong (or right), God is the same Old Testament God who said to Israel to go into Canaan and dispossess the inhabitants. Numbers 33:53 Jesus is His son who says, “Father forgive them and have Mercy and Grace on my brothers and sisters.” We, the sons and daughters of God have to carry ourselves in righteousness, so the Holy Father will not visit His Wrath upon us. When we make mistakes, big ones (not following God’s Commands, Commandments), God gets angry and Jesus is in the gap for us. At some point, God’s supernatural laws, which are always in effect, move us into God’s refining fire. Malachi 3:2,3   Follow God’s Commands for your life and the lives you touch!

Don’t make excuses – just repent and change.

If you have done it in the wrong way before – repent and start now doing it right.

“And God said: Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed,

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, WHOSE SEED IS IN ITSELF, upon the earth:

and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, WHOSE SEED WAS IN ITSELF, AFTER HIS KIND: and God saw that it was good.”

GENESIS 1:11-12 (KJV, modified)

Trees of Righteousness. I would like you to focus on the phrase: “whose seed was in itself, after his kind”. The trees the Lord created had the seeds in them that would produce after their own kind. That was the Creative Purpose of God – He planted seeds in the ground, so the first trees can grow up and then, every tree would have in itself the ability to produce more and more of the same kind.

As the Creation, so the Redemption Purpose of the Lord is that we be called: “trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified” (Isaiah 61:1-3). When the Lord redeemed us through His blood, He planted seeds in our spirits. Those are seeds of His Creative and Redemption Purposes - seeds of His eternal salvation; seeds of the fruit of the Holy Spirit and seeds of the gifts, talents and abilities the Lord has planted on the inside of us.

All these seeds have a special purpose – first to transform us, and then we are to plant them into others, so they can be changed as well and become the Lord’s planting. Have you been born again by the seed of God’s Word? It’s not just for you – go sow that seed of eternal life in others. Have you been healed? Go sow healing! Have you been able to develop a certain part of the fruit of the Spirit? Do you have the ability to love, to bring joy, to be kind, to be an ambassador of peace, etc? Go sow it into others, because this is God’s multiplication process.

Don’t be like the servant who hid his talent in the ground. Use it! Plant it! Increase it! Multiply it! In this way, your Master and you yourself will reap the Harvest. Also, you will surely hear the words: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” (Matthew 25:14-30).

Participate in God’s family; you make a difference!

"But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Did’ymus, was not with them when Jesus came.”

JOHN 20:24 (KJV)

The Absent Disciple. You never know what you miss out on when you cut yourself off from the group. The person who can't make it to Granddad's eightieth birthday misses a significant family event. The injured sportsman loses out on the team's strategy meeting when he doesn’t go. And the absent disciple fails to meet Jesus.

Thomas cut himself off from the group of disciples. He plunged into a nose-dive of despair and doubt when Jesus was crucified. He had lived off into a cul-de-sac of loneliness and grief. And he failed to pitch up (perk up) when Jesus, risen from the dead, came to see them. So Thomas missed out meeting Jesus. He almost knew the glory of the Lord. He could have lost the little bit of faith he did have forever.

Don't do the same thing. Thomas had a second chance when Jesus came again. You might not be so fortunate. However down you feel, stick with the body of Christ's disciples. However badly you may think they have failed you, however unworthy you may think yourself to be, however wretched a state you may be in, never, never keep away from Christ's disciples. However weak and frail they may be, however fractious and mistaken they may become, however cranky and conservative they are, they are still the grouping to whom Christ comes.

All His Resurrection appearances were to disciples. And all of them had failed him. He came to restore them, to strengthen them, and to embolden them. Never let it be said that you "were not with them when Jesus came.”

Good health is the precious commodity that promotes physical, spiritual, mental, and financial well being.

"But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

MATTHEW 9:12-13 (KJV)

Triggers. What we see, taste, smell, touch, and what we hear trigger our imaginations. Our senses trigger what we see in our imaginations; but consciously and subconsciously. These triggers (input to our senses), engages—starts in motion—Emanation. Emanation is an issuing forth from a source. God is the source and we are the catalysts for change.

God has placed in us the ability to imagine a thing and make that thing happen. This is a power of God—Emanation. A power of God in us. Jesus said that we could do what He did and more. John 14:12 Emanation is how. That ability of God in us is called Emanation.

God imagined an environment (which He hadn’t yet made) in which to place His redemption for mankind (Jesus) and this place is the universe in which we live. “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 Emanation is God’s creative power in us.

Words trigger our minds’ eyes with visuals which motivate us logically (mentally), moves us emotionally (spiritually), and carries us physically (direction) in a specific lifestyle. The words may be our own, from television, radio, CD’s or from our friends. Our minds are fertile ground for the seeds of words to grow and the fertilizer is what we do with those words through Emanation, which God has placed in our being.

Emanation works as a power within us and in conjunction with the “seed” principle. This means whether what is imagined is good, bad or indifferent, Emanation is going to move to make that thought, idea, concept, or feeling a physical manifestation. Remember, spiritual manifestations, i.e., thoughts, etc. have physical manifestations.

Let what we see, be positive. Let our thoughts be positive. Positive thoughts manifest positive actions and emanate God’s Perfect Will in His Kingdom. Let our thoughts, words and deeds be positive and serve all of God’s Creation fulfilling His Divine Purposes and Will in His universe.

Whether we realize it or not,

we are always sending out an influence that positively or adversely affects others.

“But thanks to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ

and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.”

2 CORINTHIANS 2:14 (RSV)

When we live a life, which is in continuous fellowship with the Eternal Father, there is a quality that we acquire deep within our spirit. This quality generates the right mental attitudes towards God and life. It becomes operational in our relationship with others. We may not always be aware of this influence. People around us may sense it and find it difficult to grasp and define. Since it is God’s power that is infusing our entire being, people around us will always be touched and blessed.

God’s living presence becomes real in us when our spirit becomes receptive to His presence at the time when we are in fellowship with Him. In these moments spiritual power, inspiration and strength are gathered which eventually will find out their expression in our daily living. As such we are been led in triumphal procession in Christ. And thus by allowing God to do what He wants through us, the fragrance of His knowledge is spread everywhere.

To achieve this intimacy with God, we must experience His indwelling presence when we are alone with God. With a prayerful mind, in simple faith and in silence we sit quietly in His presence to enjoy the nearness and glory of the Father. Let our lives be a living manifestation of Him.

The fact that it is a multitude does not mean it is right!

And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

LUKE 14:25-27 (KJV)

T

here is a great difference between a multitude and a disciple. A great multitude followed Jesus. But He turned to them and with the statement He made, He wanted to show them that He was not seeking after a great crowd and a great mob. He knew very well that the same multitude that would cry: “Hosanna!” would also cry: “Crucify Him!” That’s why He was seeking for true disciples.

a)       The multitudes go in their own way, while the disciples will deny themselves and all they have to go the Lord’s way!

b)       The multitudes are there for the show, while the disciples have paid a price to be there!

c)       The multitudes always question God’s acts, while the disciples know their cause!

d)       The multitudes have their own priorities, while the disciples have their Master’s priority!

In another occasion, Jesus taught the multitudes and most of them said: “This is a hard teaching, who can follow it?” Then Jesus turned to His disciples and asked them what they thought about this, and they told Him: “Lord, You have words of eternal life, so we are staying with You.” That’s the difference between the multitude and the disciple.

Where there is a show and a spectacle, a multitude is always there. When a great multitude gathered around Apostle Paul at Ephesus with the desire to kill him, they worshiped their goddess with a loud voice for two hours, and yet, the Bible says most of them had no idea why they had gathered (Acts 19:32). The multitude can always and is always very easily manipulated.

Don’t be of the multitudes – be a true disciple of the Lord!

Even you, God loves you!

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son,

that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

JOHN 3:16 (KJV)

Since the time man was created, he has ever sinned and by his nature, man is weak. He has difficulties to avoid sin and keep his plans away from wrongdoing. Many people say that they don't deserve forgiveness as they feel to have sinned against God. But the Bible says: “...the wicked man should not die if he gives or returns what he has stolen, and follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil he will surely live, he will not die. None of his sins will be remembered against him...” Ezekiel 33:14-16 (KJV)

When God found the world was full of sins and that most of people were wrongdoers, He decided to send His son, the only begotten son, for these people to benefit from forgiveness and salvation. It is in this way Christians are no longer purified by animals blood and offerings. Jesus has been offered once for all and it is actually enough. Hebrews 9:7,13; 10:10 (KJV)

Surely Jesus Christ was crucified for your redemption. Your sins are of course washed away by His blood. He purchased you through His death. He died on your behalf. You have no price to pay but repent your sin. So brother don't be mistaken with sin. Any sin, small or big is a sin before God. But it is wonderful that God is ever to forgive you for any. God loves you!

Be not misled by what you think you see.  The eyes see, but the mind visualizes.

The reprobate mind is delusional!

“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;”

ACTS 26:16 (KJV)

Gift Forfeited: Improper Handling -Poorly Packaged. Have you ever been excited by the anticipation of receiving a gift/present (especially during a holiday) only to be disappointed? Sometimes the packaging/ wrapping is sparkling and bold, neatly and carefully wrapped until the curiosity overtakes us. We rip it open only to find either the box is empty or contains what we least expect, may not even like, or not even want? On the flip side of the coin, we may be the recipients of a package that has been battered/worn by misuse or abuse, weather beaten, and badly damaged. These are the gifts we are reluctant to receive and are quietly upset about, even before we decide to open them. They don’t look like what we hoped for, nor do they meet our preconceived ideas.

Just think about how God Almighty must feel when someone rejects HIS gifts and stamps them as misfit. We grumble and complain about the blessings that HE has so generously lavished upon His people because the gift did not come in the desired wrapping, size, or avenue/resource we expected. God’s people could not possibly be so selfish, ungrateful, and negative, or could we?

God has given numerous ministry and spiritual gifts for the perfecting of the body of Christ. It is by His Divine Will according to His purpose that each person was created with one or several unique gifts to give Him glory, honor, praise and for the edification of His people. He called some as apostles, some teachers, some prophets, some evangelists; then there are those that encourage others, some with the gifts of mercy, hospitality, etc. (1 Co. 12:4, 28) (KJV) According to God’s Holy Word, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:29) (KJV)

We, as believers, must be very careful not to throw away/forfeit a gift of God simply because it has not been delivered and presented in the “right or acceptable packages.” Let us be slow to judge and quick to repent if we have rejected those that God has deemed acceptable and worthy in HIS sight. God sees the heart, while man sees the packaging! Accept God’s gifts that are placed in your life!
