SPIRITUAL /
BIOLOGICAL FATHERHOOD:
1-God expects
fathers to live and show themselves as good example to their
children; a patter of good work. It means a father must do
legitimate work to learn a legitimate living as an example to his
children. v.7(a)
2-He must train
with sound bible doctrine without corruptness. v.7(b)
3-He must be
sincere and train his children to be sincere or honest. v.7(b). The
Bible is talking about integrity here which a cardinal point in
walking with God.
4-Sound
speech.v.8.No corruption communication that may lead the child in
wrong direction. Ephesians 4:29, 1 Corinthians 15:33 (KJV).
But with good edifying words that build the child up in
righteousness. 1 Timothy 4:12
"But be an
example to believers in word, in conversation, in love, in spirit,
in purity."
LORD God Almighty, we
appreciate what ever You do to fulfill Your Will in Your
Creation, around Your creation, through Your Creation, upon Your
Creation using us as Your Vessels, so much so that it
makes You Happy. Amen.

Translation: Sin in the life of humans gives way to the authority of
death (spiritual death [separation from God] and physical death);
and sin in your life gets its authority and rule over us from the
Law (if you are a Yahwist or a believer of only God, not Jesus as
His Beloved Son); but Jesus, (Immanuel: God with us) gives us
authority and rule over sin in our lives through the strength of our
faith in Him.

is the translation: This statement is a “declaration,” following a
colon, which is the explanation of the declaration. How do you get
Christ in you to be the hope of glory? Preach Christ Jesus in all
wisdom warning all to be perfect in Christ Jesus. (Christ First,
Jesus second) Preach Christ Jesus in all wisdom teaching all to be
perfect in Christ Jesus. Spiritual Keys and Mysteries, what a
glorious day in Christ. Hallelujah!
Father God, thank You
for allowing us to know that we have only one Father
and that is You. Thank You for allowing us to know
that those who live for centuries contrary to Your
Word are not following You though they are in Your
church and wear Your vestments, they are like
spiritual muffled brass and silent cymbals. Help us
to free even the elect during these days. Amen in
Christ.

“Five-fold Prayer” series, Part
4.Please read
Part 3;

I believe every prayer
that comes
out of our heart, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is a powerful weapon
in God’s hands, for accomplishing His will on this earth, and for
driving out the forces of darkness. So, let me share briefly about 5
specific prayer directions the Lord has led me to pray, on a
continual basis, because I believe they are indeed foundational for
our daily walk with the Lord. I have named this series of five
Devotionals: The “Five-fold Prayer” series.
The first prayer area we discussed in the first
Devotional of this series was connected with God’s Reality in us.
The second one was connected with us to be real in God and His
purposes. The third one was connected with us knowing the
Holy Spirit so intimately, that we be not ever fall into the
same situation Samson fell. Now the fourth area of prayer would be
praying for our whole families to be involved in God’s ministry,
doing His will on the Earth. You can see the power in that area in
Joshua’s statement above.
The Bible says the Lord chose Abraham exactly for this
same reason – because He knew Abraham would COMMAND his children
after him, to serve the Lord. Before Abraham knew the Lord, he was
an idolater, so he knew best how important it is for a person to
serve the Lord with his whole family. That’s why he was the first
one called ‘Father of many nations’, ‘Father of faith’, etc., all
speaking of the importance of the family in God’s plan. God the
Father is called in such a way, because He is a generational God.
Let us therefore pray: “Lord, please keep our families
as the apple of Your eye, and let all of us serve You all the days
of our lives, as a family, generation after generation”. Please read "Five-Fold

PRAYER – 4;
Our

DEATH –
2.
Please see Death-1, Wednesday, 2 July 2008. Let us examine “Death”
as an anthropomorphic personification, not as a “life event” which
is inevitable for most all people. I would love to be “translated,”
(Hebrews 11:5); but few have been. Let us take a look at
“death.”
Imagine before
Jesus (Immanuel), who is the Christ, death was the gatekeeper to the
entrance of hell. He would usher people into hell with as much pain
and suffering as he could extract from them before they got there,
on the way there, and definitely when they got there. Their life
decisions lead to “life events” which permitted their pain and
suffering. People’s sins were their own (when people accept Christ,
Jesus bears their sins as if they were His.) and the evil in their
lives gave Lucifer authority over them (he, satan having authority
over the evil) and therefore had rule, control, and dominion over
their lives (due to their sinful nature and their poor understanding
and belief in the variance that they could be “Holy” aside from
Jesus, Who is the Christ—in Christ. Without Christ we are sinful
creations).
Now, remember
before Jesus (Yeshua) came on the scene, evil (unclean spirits,
demons, principalities) had the “run of the land,” (unfettered
access) due to the disobedience, disbelief of the “Traditionalists,”
the “Pharisees,” social compliance with the powers (hear: Romans
(and all the evil which accompanies them)) which had dominion over
the Promised Land. Jesus had to come and take (pry) the land out of
the prickly evil fingers which held them. So Jesus (Yeshua,
Immanuel) had to deal with evil and the progeny of the evil left in
the land by King David. (That is another key.)
The culmination
of Immanuel’s (Jesus’) ministry is not “Calvary,” His “Death” on the
Cross like the “Religious Right” would have you believe. But His
going to get the Keys (hear: authority) to death and hell from
lucifer (please note Death, Hell, nor Lucifer are in caps as not to
empower them). Do not empower evil in any way but for in the Will of
God (YHWH).
The Death of
Jesus or more precisely, evil thought the Death of Jesus was going
to be just like the other deaths of humans before Him, but maybe
with just a little more pomp and procedure. They thought the Death
of Jesus was going to be a little “d,” a little death like all the
others, but Jesus Death was a big “D” to their surprise. When Jesus
Immanuel died His big “D” superseded all the little “d’s” which
superseded it; having authority from Heaven, Power from Heaven now
having authority in Hell (hell) and over Death (death). Death which
reigned on Earth and in Hell, now was subject to Christ and Jesus
Immanuel after Crucifixion and after traveling on His Mission to
hell. Hallelujah!
Jesus Immanuel
took authority over “death,” the gatekeeper of hell and thus began
His Rule over death and hell. This is a great spiritual key! Do not
miss it!
LORD thank You for You place in our lives. LORD thank You for
what You do not place in our lives. LORD thank You for giving us
Yeshua, who we call Jesus. Thank You for giving us opportunity
after opportunity to serve You. Thank You for forgiving us when
we do not serve You like we know we should. Bless You for
blessings us in our unrighteousnesses. Amen.
Dear
Brother James Anthony, I bring you June update of 2008
ministries that are happening in Nepal. I am glad just as you as I
bring you June ministry report.
First of all I
would like to say thank you for praying for our ministries
activities throughout June. We continue to pray for you that you
will have the increase in every area of your life and ministry. It
is a great to be a partner with you. Because of your prayer and
support many people's lives are being changed. All glory to God.
We were able to
print 10000 tracts again in June. The name of the tracts is called
in a land where we never grow old. This is
second printing and it is in blue color and looks more attractive
then previous one. I would like to print another 10000 tracts if I
have the fund it is called I was dead but I live again: read my
story. I am preparing yet another tract in Nepali and it will look
like: SMALL DECISION YET IT LEADS YOU TO HEAVEN. This tract preaches
the gospel and tells about receiving Jesus in its very simplest way.
Good news of the
month is that we started a new Church in Budanilkantha in north side
of Kathmandu, near the mountain. This is our 13nth Church. Leader's
name is Lok. Please pray for encouragement to him and the new
believers there.
DB Rai is
constructing Church wall now please pray for sufficient resources to
complete. He also has open air gospel programs in several places.
Pray that many people would hear the gospel.
K S Rai is
looking for a house to start a Church in Town called Damak in east
Nepal. We have been praying for this strategic town to plant a new
Church. Please remember this.
Purna Kumar is up
in the mountain for house Churches for encouragements and teaching
and preaching, please continue to pray for more fruits there. There
are some new souls saved but they are facing challenges. Yet they
remain strong in the Lord. We are planning to start a Church there
too.
Bharat our
student this year in Bible School just concluded football
tournament. It was a huge challenge to organize a game in such a
place. We are happy they did it. I will share some more exciting
reports when I have photos.
Our club is still
in registration process. When we do that we will have Library,
sports academy, social work and legal right to exercise and organize
events. Continue to pray for this.
I remember you a
lot and ask God to bless in you every area of your life and walk
with God. Thank you for being an encouragement to me. I am taking
Church Boys United to Pokhara in west Nepal to participate in soccer
tournament. Our plan is to meet young people for Christ and explore
possibilities of expanding God's work in west Nepal too.

taught His disciples HOW to pray by giving them a sample prayer,
thus showing them the priorities in God’s own heart. It included
praise and worship, and then an intercession about the Kingdom and
will of the Lord to be established on the Earth. It also included a
prayer for protection and finally, a prayer about our own needs,
finishing again with praise and worship.
Well, I close this series by
encouraging You to seek the Lord with all your heart and to serve
Him likewise. Let His priorities be your priorities; His desires –
your desires, and His destiny – your destiny. Amen!

Is there any
by-product of unclean spirit infestation which can negatively impact
our lives,
our environments, our homes, or our bodies? If so, how?
“And an angel
of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to
go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I swore
unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with
you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land;
ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice:
why have ye done this? Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them
out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and
their gods shall be a snare unto you.. And it came to pass, when the
angel of the LORD spoke these words unto all the children of Israel,
that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.”

PETS
– 1.
Do not get angry with me, but listen. Why was the LORD so angry with
Joshua who loved, long for, and longingly enjoyed the Presence of
the LORD. Joshua a praying man, a holy man, but that is another
story. I believe the reasons why God was so adamant for the
Israelites to kill the men, women, children, and animals of the
inhabitants of the Promised Land was because of the behavior of
shepherds in the field with their flocks of sheep for weeks on end.
The behavior in question is that of sexual perversion; sexual
intercourse with sheep (Which is said to be the closet thing to
having sex with a woman.)
If you can wrap
your mind around that type of sexual perversion and think it is
okay, let me go further. Remember, when the angels fell from Heaven
(the demonic entities), they went into (hear: in some cases
possessed) rocks, trees, animals, and other of God’s Creation as a
way to “thumb their noses at” (disrespect God and) any part of His
Creation. They were rescued by heavenly Angels. These entities also
mated with people; Genesis 6:1-2. This is probably why the
Flood was necessary.
Future
generations had to deal with this same issue; this same model. But
the problem you see is the demons, unclean spirits and other demonic
creatures did manage to go into (hear: inhabit or live in) animals
(perhaps due to the fact they have the four elements: earth, water,
wind, and fire (body, blood, breathe, heart; respectively). As in
Luke 8:30, “And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he
said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.” There
were many creatures in one living being.
So imagine, if
you will, hundreds of unclean spirits in a sheep. After having
intercourse with sheep, husband goes home to wife. He gives unclean
spirits to wife. If the man is not married but promiscuous then he
may give unclean spirits to countless women or just a few, but they
in turn give the unclean experience to other guys. That is one way
they spread in animals – in pets. The question is with pets—is there
any by-products of unclean spirits’ infestation which can negatively
impact our lives, our environments, our homes, or our bodies? If so,
how? See Pets-2.
LORD thank You for giving us the ability to understand Your
Word, to receive Your Word, to do Your Word, and to live Your
Word. Thank You for giving us the strength to know Your Word and
the courage to communicate Your Word. Bless Your Holy Names.

BALOGUN OKO
CRUSADE REPORT- 29TH JUNE- 1ST JULY, 2008.
Balogun Oko crusade
started on Sunday 29th June with the Theme: THE LORD IS GOOD. A team
of 5 ministers led by Dr. Wole Gbogboade went to the village. The
crusade took place at the village square to show the commitment of
the villagers who troop out en-masse for the crusade.
Dr. Wole
Gbogboade preached on a topic, THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS after reading
from Acts 10:34-38 where Peter testified of the goodness of the
Lord. He emphazised that the Lord is still willing to do good to
everyone who would give his/her life to Jesus as Peter did and
testified of Him. When alter call was made, 25 adults gave their
life to Jesus Christ and so many children also gave their lives to
Christ. Some of the Village leaders gave their life to Christ
notable among whom was the deputy Head Chief of the village. PTL!
On the 2nd day,
Pastor S.Olu Oyewumi preached from Matthew 11:28. He told the people
about the goodness of Jesus Christ to remove their burden and break
yoke over anyone who would come to Him. 14 adults gave their life to
Christ and so many children too.
On the 3rd day,
Pastor S.O. Ajayi based his preaching on the same Matthew 11:28. He
invited the people to come and taste the goodness of Christ. 23
adults and 14 children also gave their life to Christ.
The team prayed
for healing of the people as many people came out for prayer. Prayer
was also offered for the land, farming work of the people and all
the village leaders. The people were so full of joy, they expressed
that we are welcome always and that the village is home for us. PTL!
Discipleship
classes will commence on Tuesday 8th July, 2008 in the village with
the 62 adult converts. Pastor Oluwole Akintaro who located the
village is in -charge of the Discipleship Training Center there.
I express
gratitude to Ministers who prayed, those went went with us and those
who supported the crudade financially. The Lord will reward you all.

Death -2, Sunday, 6 July 2008. Let us take a look at “death.”
Matter (hear: Death) is neither created nor destroyed. The Power of
Death was placed in the tongue. The Power of Death “is” in the
“action” of the tongue… (A giant
key ) “Death and life are in the power of the
tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverb
18:21 (KJ) We stop the Power of Death with our tongues. So we
have power over Death (over him, over it) through the Life,
Crucifixion, and Resurrection of Jesus, Yeshua, (MMNL) and through
our choices.
When Jesus (
Immanuel: God with us) died on the Cross, He was transformed… “…All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18
(KJ) The physical death of Jesus manifested God’s Victory
throughout His Creation by Jesus (MMNL) living in a “sinless” human
existence with limited Heavenly, supernatural intervention. This is
a giant key.
The Angels could
not keep Jesus from dashing His foot on a stone (hear: interfere)
(Matthew 4:6; Luke 4:11) and therefore Jesus (MMNL) had to do it
(His mission) –on His own –in the flesh —using the same elements in
His “Flesh Vessel” as is available to us today in our bodies (when
we utilize the mind of Christ). (What is “Christ Mind”? Love the
LORD with all your heart, mind, strength, body AND love your
neighbor. (A giant key)) If
Jesus can (or could) do it, so can you and I; if we only believe and
try. (Mark 9:23; Mark 11:23-24)
Immanuel (Jesus)
went to hell and got the keys to hell and death; this means He had
(has) authority over “hell” and “death.” From the perspective of
anthropomorphic personifications, Death thought that Jesus was going
to go like the rest of the people (humans) before Him. Death could
only hope that Jesus would be subject to him, but he knew deep in
his heart what was to come.

aranatha – 1. God gave me a
vision this morning (11.07.2008). I saw how, through a very small
spark, a whole ammunition depot was blown up. And the Lord said to
me, “Write it down quickly, and let all your friends know, so they
will be warned, and not panic."
And
this is what I saw: It was a black, middle-sized bomb which was
fired into the desert like a missile. It looked like it was a
maneuver or a military exercise. It was fired cluelessly. It did not
meet its target, and looked like a false start. It appeared as if
the bomb exploded in the middle of the desert.
It had apparently
missed its target and dropped off in the desert. Alas, no one had an
idea that right at that point in the desert, below the sand, a
mighty armory was located, which had been secretly placed long
before this time.
This
small bomb, which had missed its target, now triggered an inferno.
The explosion
from the stored bomb under the sand was no longer to be stopped.
Every minute brought about another greater and more severe
explosion. It refused to stop. The smoke that resulted from these
explosions caused darkness in the whole world. The whole world was
here, like a village. All the people I saw were seriously affected,
shocked and horrified. They called out and screamed, “How could
people be so crazy as to explode bombs here, even though they are
for test purposes”.
It
went blow after blow. There was no one who could stop this
catastrophe, or to quench the fire. No one even had the ability to
do so. There arose a great and mighty cloud of smoke up to the sky,
just like the eruption of a mighty volcano. As I continued to look
at this inferno, I saw on the floor, the map stretched from Egypt,
Israel, Syria up till Pakistan, and in the middle was Saudi Arabia.
This was in my estimation, the location of the great armory that was
blown up. There was much sand and wasteland all around. The smoke
and the desert sand from this inferno spread itself like wildfire
over the whole world and brought about darkness even at bright
midday. The whole world panicked. Even I woke up with a start, and
asked myself what had happened.

The whole world panicked. Even I woke up with a start, and asked
myself what had happened. The Lord said to me. “Tell my children,
they should not fear, because I the Lord am with them. I am still in
control”. I am to tell them this, “Do not break out in panic, when
this happens – soon. It must happen in order that my coming be
prepared for”.
In the same vein,
the Lord showed me how all the great and mighty fled, each seeking a
cave, or bunker in order to hide himself. The world economy, every
economic alliance collapsed like a pack of cards. No one wanted to
know anything about them anymore. Everyone ran for his dear life.
Everything burnt. There was panic and confusion everywhere.
As I continued to
pray, the Lord said to me, “But you my children, you belong to my
family, all you who belong to my house, I will not allow you to find
your graves with the godless. I will come and catch away my own, and
save them. You will see these dark clouds; you will experience the
dull days, without the sun, but they cannot harm you.
I, the Lord, am
your shield, your protection. Just like I once protected my
people Israel
from the angel of death in Egypt, so will I protect all them which
have my blood (The blood of Jesus) over themselves, or which will be
seen under the blood of Jesus. You are my firstborn, whom I will
protect and keep myself.
Hold out, through
whatever experiences you are going, as it will lead you to a deeper
relationship with me. It only strengthens your faith. It brings you
closer to me, and makes you ready for the days of the shaking, and
the day of visitation. My children, the judgment must take place
first, as the sins and godlessness of man have cried out to me in
heaven. Never has man been so godless and unrighteous. Their cups of
transgression have become full and run over.
And thus says the
Lord, “my people, the time has come for you to arise and raise your
voices to warn the people against my great and terrible day of
judgment, which is coming on people of the world. The riches of this
world will be destroyed, but my kingdom comes, says the Lord. You my
child, believe and trust me, be faithful to me, serve me, so will
you and your house be saved. And fear not, you are inscribed upon

Death -3, Sunday, July 13, 2008. Let us take a look at “death.”
Death believed
that Jesus’ Death would take Him (Jesus) be off the spiritual
playing field of earth, being ushered back to Heaven by Death. Boy
was Death surprised when Jesus came and took Death’s authority,
control, and power. And likewise Hell thought that Jesus was taken
off the spiritual playing field only to realize the Jesus ushered in
the Kingdom of Christ to stay forever on the playing field and to
have complete dominance and sharing that dominance with His—those
called by His name—Christians.
Please note, that
Jesus transformed the “death experience” from a torturous one, (know
this, hell was transformed too) to one of “eternal life” in Christ,
to those who believe in Christ. So Jesus changed “death,” from a
finite physical end landing you in a torturous hell experience or
one landing you in the bliss of Heaven depending on God’s Grace and
Mercy—to an ‘eternal” experience in Christ for all—all in Christ.
Now the
theological debate is whether Jesus allows everyone in Heaven after
His Crucifixion, because of this verity: Jesus would that all be
saved. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of
God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto
the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Titus 2:4 (KJ) “For it is
written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and
every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11 (KJ)
(Prophesy: Isaiah 45:23) But how can that be so—Our
Righteousness is that of Christ. We put on the Righteousness of
Christ. (a Giant Key). Our
righteousness is not our own. “Neither yield ye your members
as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves
unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members
as instruments of righteousness unto God.” Romans 613 (KJ)

To Raise Children Effectively – 1.
In the church today, a lot of the responsibilities of the fathers
have been inadvertently shifted to the mothers. Though the fathers
blame this on technology, job or business that take them out of home
for too long just so they may provide for their family. Not knowing
that too much pressure is placed on the mothers who sometimes
breakdown or simply do not know how to do it because God, in His
infinite wisdom joined the two parents together so that your
conjugal role can be balanced. Worse is when both parents leave for
work leaving the young children at the mercy of the house-help and
the unmonitored watching of television and other vices.
God's pattern of
raising children is simply clear. Proverbs 22:6. Parents have
the responsibility of training up their children. Training entails
more than teaching or giving instruction. It also means you have to
be an example in showing the child how to do what you are saying.
These take time and patience much at it means you know yourself know
what to do and how to do it, i.e. you have been disciplined as a
father.
To train up
children effectively, fathers be more committed to the things of
God. Godly foundation is love in the home. Ephesians 5:1,Titus
2:5. Since you can't give what you don't have, fathers should
endeavor to:
1- Attend bible
study classes
2- Prayer
meetings
3- Serve in the
house of God
4- Develop
personal devotion with the Lord
5- Personal
relationship with the Word and Holy Spirit

See Part One, 17 July 2008. In the church today, a lot of the

Take time out of your busy schedule to:
1-
Stay with your children. Spend quality time with them.
2-
You can sleep with them at times. Luke 11:7
3-
Take them out on a walk either collectively, sometimes individually.
4-
Allow them to ask you question by creating a conducive environment
to make them trust you to give them a good direction
5-
Check their school work and homework. You can help them do their
homework at times. Go to their school once in awhile to ask their
teacher about their performance and conduct.
6-
Attend their school open-day or parents/Teachers' meeting. Don't
leave these to your wife alone until they graduate from the
university before you now go with them. Start from cradle to show
them you care much.
7-
Take them out for recreation. And stay at home to play games with
them. You can be the one to teach your child how to swim or play
table tennis. They should know the good programs to watch on the TV
and why others are bad.
8-
Teach them how to read the Bible, pray and live by God's Word. This
is more than mere family devotion. It's practical teaching on issues
of life. Show them what you are teaching them by living it. "
For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his
household after him to keep the way of the Lord, by doing what is
right and just , so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what
He has promised him.” Genesis 18:19. This explains why Abraham
was a friend of God.
9-
Don’t just focus on rebuke and discipline which are what we see
generally as responsibility of the father in the home. Of course it
is good to discipline the child yet discipline must have be
corrective and point the child to doing what is good.

This is a testimony from a young lady in our church (14), who was
part of team used by God to raise a stillborn baby from the dead in
Guatemala. We know this young lady personally. Her character and
integrity are without reproach. You are about to read a bonafide,
contemporary Lazarus resurrection story. This is as close to the
flame of a literal resurrection from the dead as we have ever been!
T
estimony from
Abby:
"My name is Abby. I am 14 years old. I live in western North
Carolina. During the summer of 2008, I went on a ministry trip to
Guatemala. During part of the trip, we divided up into small
ministry teams (5 to 7 people) and visited different villages in the
San Pedro La Laguna area. We traveled from village to village
telling the Indian people about Jesus. On one particular day, we
were visiting in the home of a young woman. She lived in a small
village of about 14 or 15 houses. We were trying to lead the young
lady to Christ, but it was not going very well. After awhile, we
decided to move on. Before leaving, we asked the woman if we could
pray with her about anything in her life. She told us that just the
day before, she had given birth to a stillborn baby and that we
could pray with her about that.
"In Guatemalan culture, there is great shame and condemnation on
mothers who give birth to deformed or stillborn children. We prayed
a simple prayer that everything would go well with the funeral and
burial of the baby and that the mother would be spared the shame and
condemnation associated with having given birth to a stillborn
child. As we were praying this simple prayer, my friend and fellow
ministry team member, Julia (age 17), told me that we needed to pray
over the baby's body. I thought she was crazy to suggest this and
that it was not a good idea. Julia was persistent. She said again
that we really needed to pray over the baby's body. She told me to
ask the mother if she still had the baby's body. When I asked, the
mother told us the baby's body was wrapped up in a burial cloth in
the back room. I asked her if we could pray over the body. The
mother hesitantly said, yes. We went into the backroom and saw the
baby's body wrapped up in a bundle on the bed. Julia poked her head
out of the back room and asked if she could unwrap the baby's head.
The mother said, yes, if we wrapped it back correctly when we were
done. Julia picked up the body and unwrapped the head. The baby's
head was tiny and pale. The baby was stillborn and had been dead
outside the womb for 27 hours. Her skin had turned shades of purple.
Our entire ministry team, five of us, began crying and praying over
this baby.
"We prayed for thirty to forty minutes. At the end of that time,
Julia screamed out to God, telling Him that she believed with all of
her heart that this baby could be raised from the dead. After Julia
screamed out, everyone was silent. We were quietly interceding and
praying. Within a few minutes, the baby started moving. Then the
baby coughed and began crying. The mother came rushing into the
room. She was screaming, what is going on? No one could answer her.
We were just staring at the baby, who had come back to life. The
mother asked us again, what is going on? She began crying as she saw
that her baby was alive. She ran out of the house and banged on
every door in the village, telling all of the people that God is
real because her baby was alive. Within about thirty minutes, the
baby's skin tone and movements had become completely normal.
"The other villagers came to the house to see this amazing miracle.
They asked us which of the Indian gods we had prayed to for such a
miracle to happen. We told them we had prayed to the biggest God
ever and we began to explain to them about Jesus. Soon, we realized
we would not have time to minister salvation to each person
individually. So, we gathered all the villagers together, turned on
our little sound system and explained the way of salvation. Everyone
in the village, 80 to 90 people, prayed to receive Jesus. Each of
them was baptized in the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues.
Many would fall to the ground as the power of the Holy Spirit came
on them.
"Five days later, we returned to the village to check in on the
mother and the baby. The village had prepared a big dinner in honor
of our team. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship together. The
baby, whom they named Julia, was perfectly healthy and had gained
weight. Even after five days, the mother was still shaking from the
impact of God on her life through the resurrection of her child. Two
days after our follow-up visit, the mother brought baby Julia to
church. The mother was still shaking from the power of God on her
life following this astounding miracle."

hat was it?
You just gave yourself lip service. Example: Let’s say a child
disrespects a parent. The parent who is the victim walks out of the
picture. The child said something wrong. In the absence of the
“victim” parent, the “authority” parent, the parent in authority
says to the child, “What you said was wrong. And please refrain from
like actions.” “Okay,” is the reply.
What happened
here? The child acted inappropriately. The “authority” parent noted
it (the inappropriate behavior), then commented on it. The
“disobedient” child acknowledged the statement. The child left the
room. Nothing happened here but the exchange of words and a teenage
“hoky-doke” (take any advantage of a person or situation). No
discipline—no exercise of authority happened here—only “lip
service.”
The parent only
acknowledged an inappropriate behavior. Then there was agreement
that the behavior was inappropriate. The “authority” parent gave
himself or herself “ear candy” (saying something that sounds good
but has no real teeth). Otherwise known as “talking just to hear
yourself speak.” They are just going through the motions of
parenting without this:
Say action is
wrong, explain why and explain future consequences of such
action, while considering present action (hear: disciple) now.
And let the child know.
Have the
“disobedient” child apologize to the “victim” parent. This helps
the child develop character and helps build relationship.
Should the
behavior and similar behavior show up again, then you, the
parent have a plan. The child knows the consequences. What needs
to happen is, if the behavior shows up again—handle it
appropriately with a “discussed” action plan.
It is important
not to do something just for the sake of doing it. Understand the
“why” of doing it. Doing things without knowing the “why,” the
purpose or direction is akin to the “blind following the blind.”
Know why your family members and society have you doing what you do.
Is it godly? Is it ungodly? When we understand the “why,” we have an
opportunity not to miss out on the “zest of life” which resides in
each action, thought, purpose, friend, family, and ________. You
fill in the blank.

To Raise Children Effectively – 3.
See Part One, 17 July and Part Two, 18 July 2008. God's discipline
has inbuilt restoration. If this is not there, all you are doing is
punishment which could provoke the child to grow thick skinned to
it, and that will have negative result on the child especially. And
the rest of the family could be affected psychologically.
We should also
encourage children by speaking words of faith that provides
edification into the lives. Fathers and mothers are to see their
children as heroes. We are to make them see and believe in
possibilities. Praise them when they do it right. Correct them when
they miss it with a view to encourage “doing it right” by raising
their hope of positive consequences. Getting it right or wrong with
the proper encouragement builds their esteem high. As a father, you
are to help dig out the gold in them. You have to duty to protect
them from peer pressure that may want to introduce them to vices.
Endeavour to
build friendship with respect among your children. Their growth will
be balanced when they learn from both parents. There are feminine
things to learn from their mothers and masculine things to learn
from their father; and things to learn from both parents. Jesus
said, “…for your sake, I sanctified
myself. ” John 17:19. For the fact that your actions /
deeds speak louder than your words / voice, there’s a need to avoid
words or behaviour that are capable of teaching the children
negative things. They can easily copy such behaviour which may be
difficult to stop. If such thing has happened, it’s better that you
correct it by repenting. Then do a correction by letting your
children know that what you did / say was wrong and tell them the
right thing to do / or the right words to say. Fathers are supposed
to be role models of righteousness to their children.
Father Abraham
was first a good father to his son Isaac to the extent Isaac trusted
and obeyed his father to the point of death. Genesis 22:9-10.
He was a good husband to his wife Sarah hence she called him lord.
1 Peter 3:6. Finally he was a good master to his servants as
we see in Eliezer whom Abraham loved like his own son, to the extent
he could make him rule over all that he had even to the point of
asking him to go look for a wife for his son Isaac on oath.
Genesis 24:2-3.
God bless the

Chores.
This is an example of what not to do. If you have two or more
children (teenage children works best in this example), or know
someone with children, please listen.
In this example,
let’s say we are talking about cleaning up the bathroom. This is a
responsibility which is shared between the children. Let’s say two
children who are to clean the bathroom once a week. Both parents are
aware of this assignment for the children. As the weeks progress,
the parents notice that the bathroom is not getting cleaned as
agreed upon. So one parent decides to assist the children in keeping
the bathroom clean, instead of enforcing the rule. The other parent
does not agree with this action.
The parent in
helping is really not helping at all. See this. When the bathroom is
not cleaned when it is supposed to be, then the parents go to one
child, the oldest and asks whose turn it is to clean the bathroom.
The oldest child responds, I do not know, maybe the younger child.
The parent goes to the younger child and asks the same question.
Same answer, the other child. This is called the “run-around.”
When there are
more than two children involved it is easy for the children to give
parents the “run-around.” But when there are only two children
involved one can more easily see the “run-around.” The way to get
around the “run-around” is to stop it by not the parents not
participating in the chores in the first place, but as supervisors.
Why? Because the oldest child has the responsibility to ensure that
the chore is done, by the younger child and by themselves as well.
When a parent is not involved in the actual work, but is involved in
the parenting process:
Let’s
children know what expectations you have of them and what they
are.
Teaches
children responsibility.
Consistent
parental supervision of the process helps children learn and get
a better understanding of discipline and correction.
Children know
when you make sure they do what you have asked and you ask
question, that you are interested in them. That is big.
Remember, God
loves us more than we can imagine. God loves us even when we are at
our worst. Do your chores with pleasure and joy.
“Obey them
that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch
for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it
with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for
you.” Hebrews 13:17

Lord, prop us
up on our leaning side, and we will forever give you the praise.
Every time I
am asked to pray, I think of the old fellow who always prayed,
“Lord, prop us up on our leanin' side.” After hearing him pray that
prayer many times, someone asked him why he prayed that prayer so
fervently.
He answered,
“Well sir, you see, it's like this...I got an old barn out back. It
has been there a long time; it has withstood a lot of weather; it
has gone through a lot of storms, and it has stood for many years.
It's still
standing. But one day I noticed it was leaning to one side a bit.
So I went and got some pine poles and propped it up on its leaning
side so it wouldn't fall. Then I got to thinking about that and how
much I was like that old barn. I have been around a long time.
I've withstood
a lot of life's storms. I've withstood a lot of bad weather in
life, I've withstood a lot of hard times, and I'm still standing
too. But I find myself leaning to one side from time to time, so I
like to ask the Lord to prop us up on our leaning side, 'cause I
figure a lot of us get to leaning at times.
Sometimes we
get to leaning toward anger, leaning toward bitterness leaning
toward hatred, leaning toward cussing, leaning toward a lot of
things that we shouldn't. So we need to pray, “Lord, prop us up on
our leaning side, so we will stand straight and tall again, to
glorify the Lord.”
If you stare
at this barn for a second you will see who will help us stand
straight and tall again. Do You See HIM?!

recting the building of
life -2.
See Part One, 25 July 2006. For any building to be
guaranteed, it requires a suitable position and location. There are
processes in erecting a building:
1. The step of foundation: Everything about the Kingdom is
centered on the foundation. God is a God of foundations. God can
never be the Omega, if He was not the Alpha. The foundation of our
today is dependent upon our yesterday. If you cannot build a
foundation, you will never erect any building. The foundation in
every building envelops its purpose. Everything in life is a about
purpose; everything is working towards its purpose. Miracles cannot
give you purpose. It is purpose that brings the miracle.
2.Every foundation carried two major pillars:
a)The Pillar of Assignment— “…For this purpose the Son
of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the
devil.” 1 John 3:8)
Jesus could not come until there was a purpose. Tell your neighbor
that you are here because of an assignment. Jesus will NOT do what
you CAN do. He will only DO what you CANNOT do. No matter how close
the relationship Jesus had with Lazarus, he (Lazarus) could not roll
away the stone. Until the stone was rolled away, there was no
resurrection (John 11).
b)The Pillar of Potential— (Isaiah 11:1-5)
In order for you to maintain your location and position, you must
build up your capacity. Increase in knowledge and wisdom. For wisdom
is the principal thing.
If you were preparing a dough and left out the flour, what you
have is a mess. Therefore, in anything that you do, obtain wisdom
and wisdom comes from nowhere, but God. I pray that as you are part
of the eBlessings network, understand your assignment, work towards
it and build your capacity. May God bless you as you build the
foundation of life.

I was with Mrs.
Jane Elliott most of the day today. She is an elderly woman who
recently lost her husband. Near the end of our day as we spoke of
spiritual things, she told me that she had heard, which didn’t
change her current belief of the “Rapture” to happen. I too hold
this belief. But she was telling me this pastor, from a radio
broadcast, said that he believed the rapture was talking about
death. I didn’t believe that for a second, but as I drove and
thought about it, I could see how a brother could get confused
concerning death as rapture, but I drove on.
I got home and
when working on this devotional for the website, which I had written
at the doctor’s office, I went for the opening scripture. This is
what showed up on an e-Sword word search…”death and sting:”
1 Corinthians
15:50-54

"Now this I
say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of
God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
(Flesh cannot
inherit the Kingdom of God, no-way, no-how. Flesh is corruptible;
and therefore must be made incorruptible. Additionally, corrupt
spiritual beings cannot inherit incorruption either. You see both
the physical (people) and the spiritual (negative (corrupt)
spiritual beings)
“Behold, I
shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed,” (Okay, Paul is saying here comes a Mystery. Here it
is. We (plural; all of us, but not necessarily all at once for
everyone. Again— Note: this event will happen to all of us, not
necessary all of us at the same time or all of us all together at
once.) All of us will not be dead. Some of us will be alive and some
dead just like now. But everyone will be changed…everyone.
“In a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.” (In an unexpected moment, as quick as the blinking of
an eye. At your last heartbeat. For the trumpet shall sound… the
sound of last tone leaving your eardrums as you transition into
death. When you do die, just like Jesus you get Christ inside you,
magically supernaturally and therefore you become incorruptible (not
based on your behavior while on earth, but on God’s Grace and Mercy:
LOVE.) The trumpet is the sound of the last tones leaving your
brain. Once dead, the dead person rises to life again incorruptible
with Christ inside… all the dead, Christian and non… all.
“For this
corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on
immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then
shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:50-54

Jesus, Yeshua, Immanuel, please I beseech thee to
ask Father God to have mercy, more mercy and more grace upon the
people of the world who do not know You, want to know You, or
have known You and have been abused by the Your enemies
disguised as Your Saints. Father God share Your Love to Your
children and give them Understanding and Wisdom to receive, know
and understand Your Deep Spiritual Verities so we can bring the
Kingdom of Christ to bear upon our present realities. Amen and
