Someone has to save
the world. Why don’t you and I start today?
“And
as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead, cast out demons.
Freely you have received, freely give.”
MATTHEW 10:7-8
(NKJ)
T
hat could B U.
Which
comes first, the chicken or the egg? Which comes first,
obedience or the blessings? Which comes first, faith or
power? Which comes first, life in Heaven or life in earth?
Easy questions or difficult ones?
What if you
have a friend who owns a clothing store, a shoe store, a
house store, and an “everything” store? And all you have to
do to get things from these stores is to help others,
especially children and widows, people who are suffering,
emotionally, physically, mentally, psychologically,
personally, in groups, individuals with hardships,
heartaches, family pain, lost love, confusions, jealousies,
misunderstanding, no understanding, ignorance, and fears.
“No way,”
you may say, “can I help those people.” “No way would you
ever catch me doing that.” Before you say, “You will never
see me doing that,” be careful it may be you doing that and
people saying I can’t believe that Bobby and Lisa are doing
the impossible. How is it possible? “You
did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that
you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit
should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name
He may give you.” John 15:16 (NKJ)
In your
every day life, don’t stop and look around to see where you
are, who you are, or how you are. We don’t have to make a
fashion statement by what we wear. We don’t have to make an
economic statement by how much we spend, what we purchase.
People often like to make a “class” statement, a “hip”
statement, an “I am accepted” statement by what they talk
about and what specific words are used. Jesus said: “I
am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in
Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can
do nothing.” John 15:5 (NKJ)
Someone has
to save the world in which we live. Why can’t it be you?
“If you abide in Me, and My words
abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be
done for you.” John 15:7 (NKJ) We can do it
through our Father God and through Christ Jesus. “If
you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as
I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in
you, and that your joy may be full.” John
15:10-11 (NKJ)

Doing It God’s Way®

Mr.
Sam Brown
(Meditate on the Lord)
(Psalm 1:2)
I want
you
to
understand that Father God changed my gears that morning
through Ruth Brown. When that gear shifts -- we begin to go
in another direction. I’m here to testify to you that when
that gear shifts, God is changing the direction that He
wants you to travel. Listen at what Ruth Brown said to me.
“Alonza, if you want to win that speaking contest, you need
to consult with your daddy Sam Brown.”
That
was all she said, but that was a mouthful.
I have
practiced for 48 years, disciplining myself to keep my mind
on God at all times. When that gear in life shifts, I
know exactly what to do. And He tells us so clearly in
the Bible, If you fear Me, I’ll give you riches and honor
and life.
“The secret of the LORD is with them that fear
him; and he will shew them his covenant.” Psalm 25:14
(KJV)
“O
fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no
want to them that fear him.” Psalm 34:9
(KJV)
“He will bless them that fear the LORD, both
small and great.” Psalm 115:13
(KJV)
“By humility and the fear of the LORD are
riches, and honour, and life.” Proverbs 22:4
(KJV)
But if
we don’t keep our minds on God at all times, we’ll miss that
gear shifting every time. I knew from the moment Ruth Brown
told me to observe my daddy Sam Brown that those gears were
shifting. I heard that gear shifting and I made a decision
to step on life’s accelerator.
Listen, we must keep our minds on God at all times.
We’ll miss that gear shifting almost every time if we don’t.
And it’s nothing but a habit—listening for that gear
shifting—keeping our minds stayed on Him. It will be the
best habit you’ll ever develop in life. Keeping our
minds on God is the habit we want to develop. Keeping our
minds off of ungodly things—that is—focus on the positive
and leave the negative wherever it was before it entered
your mind.
You’ve
got to understand why God wanted me to observe Sam Brown.
Sam Brown sent seven of my sisters and brothers to college.
This was during the Depression Years. He had four girls in
college at the same time, and he was only a farmer. I never
heard this farmer say he didn’t have any money. Sam Brown
paid off his 98-acre farm in the 1920’s, when everyone else
was losing their farms. And during the Depression, he paid
for his children’s college tuitions.
I
would see him standing in the fields with five vocational
agriculture teachers; both African-American and Caucasian
brothers came to seek his advice from all over the entire
state of North Carolina about farming, or so I thought.
One
day I asked him, “How can you spend all that time with
county agents and vocational agricultural teachers?” I
asked him how could he do it and make money to take care of
the farm and the family.
He
looked at me real strange, but he had a smile on his face --
a serious smile. I will never forget it.
He
said, “I can’t afford not to help them.”
I
said, “You’re not making a dime out of this.”
And
then he said to me, “The way you get God’s attention in
life is to be more concerned about His people than you are
about yourself.” Then Sam Brown said, “That is why I
cannot afford not to help them.”
That
is why today God is saying to me, “Go feed my chickens.”
This is why He said that to me. For four years I had fed
chickens and turkeys at the Swift Poultry Farm in
Greensboro, North Carolina. God knew that that farm is
where I spent much of my study time when I was
attending North Carolina A&T College. Instead of studying
for my classes, I was working at the chicken farm so I could
pay my way through college. Guess who spent much of her time
with me there? My wife Gladys Lee Brown, the lady who I
would not have met if I were not obedient to God’s Voice
saying to leave that little girl in high school behind.
God is
saying to me and to you—what you need in life will come
through Me. Bring Me your desires, bring them through Me
and I will give you what you need to feed the chickens you
got in your house. Maybe you don’t have chickens, maybe you
have some cats, dogs, or horses. They need food too. God
will take care of them.
I
carried that one concept into several fields over my 48-year
track record. A man with a C and D transcript from college
-- didn’t know anything about three different fields, but
made millions in each field. If I can do it this way, you
can too!
I
would see Sam Brown sit with the Bible in his lap early in
the morning. Everyone at home was sound asleep, except him
and me. He would sit there, the Bible in his lap with tears
rolling down his face, but I never did see him turn a page.
“Why
are you crying?” I asked him. “And furthermore,” I said, “I
never see you turn a page.”
Here
again, he looked at me real strange again. He had a way of
doing that. I continued, “The boys talk about reading the
Bible, but I never see you reading your Bible. And I never
see you turn a page.”
He
said, “I meditate on the Word. There is a difference.”
I
never forgot what he said; I never forgot it. And then he
explained to me how you meditate on the Word.
He
said, “You take everything out of the Bible. You make
sure every leaf is turned down smooth, so the Hand of God
will move that page to where God wants you to meditate. And
then you hold both hands under that Bible, and say, “In
the name of Jesus, Father, let your Word open to where You
want me to read. Please Father give me my daily Bread.””

If God says it, God does it.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring
forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the
eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall
not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it
shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
ISAIAH 55:10-11
(NKJ)
N
ot just
sometimes, but oftimes, many times, more
than we want to believe—God, Jesus, or the Holy Ghost will tell us
something, or someone will give us a true “word” from the Lord. We
may have a dream or get a vision which is confirmed by a double
witness (Hebrews 6:18). We see the evidence that what was
heard and believe to be true is true. That “word,” vision, dream, or
whatever you believe you are to do, are to receive, or what is to
happen sticks to your soul. Then suddenly, or we realize, that there
is no movement on our dream or what is to happen. We do not see
movement, progress, or the expectation of what has been “prophesied”
to us. Some people may question God and consider giving up.
“Can thine heart endure, or
can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee?
I the LORD
have spoken it, and will do it.” Ezekiel 22:14
(KJV)
At this point, people often carry frustration, wear worry, cry
concern, or walk troubled. Some people bite their nails, others lose
hair, some overeat, while many lose faith and let go of the vision.
Hold on to your dream! Hold on to your vision! “God is
not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he
should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath
he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
(KJV)
When we are at the point of giving up, look for God to come through
and not just show up, but show out. We have to have faith and apply
faith. Not only wait on the Lord, but prepare for His coming; the
coming of His dream, His vision, His purpose, which He has ordained
into our lives. We have to endure to the end. Persevere. “Thou
therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2
Timothy 2:3
(KJV)
“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the
patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord…” James 5:11
“…that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the
strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of
understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill...” Ecclesiastes 9:11
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13 (KJV)

Stop
chasing the wrong dreams. Work the dream God planted in your life.
“Then
He said, ‘Hear now My words: If there is a
prophet among you,
I, the LORD,
make Myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to him in a
dream.’”
NUMBERS 12:6
(NKJ)
G
od-Dream -
1.
Many people are chasing the incorrect dreams for their lives. Can
you imagine if the United States as the original thirteen colonies
had dreamed of being the best of all the English colonies? Can you
imagine if Mother Teresa had dreamed of living in England and
becoming a doctor? Can you imagine if Paul had tried to rationalize
what happened to him on the road to Damascus in terms of the
political and social reasoning of the ancient times? He would
still be trying to figure it out. What if Moses was too afraid of
God to approach the mountain? What would have become of the
Israelites? Or David, what if he knew his place and let his brothers
or the armies of Israel challenge Goliath?
Carnal or natural dream chasing means living for self, selfish
ambitions, and selfish goals in efforts to achieve selfish
superlatives and gain; sometimes with the moniker “Doing it for
God,” when God is not in it at all. Eternal or supernatural
dream chasing, working your “God-dream” requires living our lives
for others, not for our selfish ambitions or societal directives, or
family expectations, no matter how we try to justify them and
explain them as truth. We must leave self behind. We must let go of
those aspirations that our parents, our grandparents, our world has
directed us towards, has placed on our shoulders. We must look at
the world God has created and see the pieces which are out of God’s
world puzzle. We must pick up the missing pieces and place them
where they belong or place them back from where they fell. More
often than not, we will need someone else who can see the dream, see
where the puzzle pieces go, to help us save our world, our
communities, and our families.
Deep within most of us and on the surface of some of us, lie the
purpose, the dream, the hope God has planted in our spirits. He has
watered it and protected it, and kept it alive—the seed in you. Now
it is time for you to move out of your comfort zone, move out into
the waters God has ordained and prepared for you. Prepare yourself
to move into the waters and swim. Look for the fishermen. Look for
the vinedressers. Look for those who God has purposed to help you
grow your harvest. They are there and they are coming once you enter
the water. The miracle has been planted in us. We must water it,
nurture it, remove the weeds, work it, watch it, and keep the pests
away from it until the fruit of God’s dream for our world is ready
for harvest. Move into the dream waters God has for you.

Jesus, the Christ, Emmanuel, is with you right now;
always with you.
“Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
MATTHEW 28:20
(KJV)
G
od through
a prophet
(Matthew 1:22-23) named His Son, Emmanuel which means God is
with us. God gave Jesus a name which was not only a mystery but a
clue, an avenue to His Victory in us, through, and by us: God with
us. Jesus Christ is always with us and He promises us that He will
never leave us. We believe in Him and He never changes. “Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8
(KJV)
We are strong when we hear about our
Saviour and no force or power can stand the name of Jesus. “That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in
heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth;” Philippians 2:10
(KJV) We are not lonely because Jesus is always with us. We
build our faith and trust on the Rock of Life, Jesus Christ. He will
continue to bless and protect us as long as don’t sin and keep His
Commandments. Understand that we all sin and fall short of the glory
of God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God;” Romans 2:23
But God is faithful to forgive us; we
must know that Jesus bears our sin, all our sin and therefore our
sin is His. “Being justified freely by his grace through the
redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be
a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God;” Romans 3:24-25 (KJV)
With our prayers and fasting, we will
be close to Him. He will continue to deliver us from the works of
satan and his plans that he directs against us. Thank You Jesus
Christ for Your love to the world. Thank You for saving the world
from sin and the darkness satan and his agents plan for us, our
families, our communities, and our nations.
“Let your conversation be
without coveteousness; and be content with such things as ye
have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will
not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:5-6

When
God places a dream/vision in your lap, it is your baby to nurse.
“Then
the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I
said, ‘Here am I.’”
GENESIS 31:11
(NKJ)
G
od-Dream -
2.
God and His Holy Angels have spoken to humankind throughout the
ages through dreams. In these dream communications, God has placed
motivation in only one person to go somewhere (Genesis 31:13)
as with Jacob, not doing something (Genesis 20:3), to receive
something (1 Kings 3:5-15) as in the case of Solomon, or
deliver a “word” from God (Ezekiel); take the Messiah to
Africa (Matthew 2:13) as with Joseph, or showing Daniel the
kingdoms to come (Daniel 11). One way God has placed vision
in men’s bosoms through communication in dreams.
It is important to know that that dream, that vision was given to
you and you alone. Initially, no one will have the zest for the
dream, but you. Your wife will not catch the fever for the vision,
your children will not have the energy for the dream, your relatives
will not be able to see the vision. You and only you will be able to
see the vision unless God has purposed someone in your life to work
in step with you on the vision, initially. This is typically not the
way it works. Your family will not see the vision, will not believe
the vision, nor will they focus on your God-given vision.
Your church, pastor, bishop, nor your deacon will see your vision or
be motivated to assist you in your God-given dream until your vision
has a materialistic manifestation or until they see that through
your actions you, yourself believe in your dream by the amount of
time you invest in God’s dream which He placed in you. People will
also want to see if the dream is truly from God. People believe that
“gain is godliness” (1 Timothy 6:5) and therefore they expect
that if this is a God-given vision, there will be a financial
manifestation of His Glory. This couldn’t be further from the
truth.
Remember, finances were created by man. What need, what concern is
money to God, except man needs this medium in his civilizations as a
means of transferring wealth and procuring necessities. Therefore,
your God-dream in you will prosper in what God planned for it to
prosper in and it may not look like what society expects. “So
shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return
to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (NKJ)
Stand fast in your God-given dream and live in expectation. Work
your God-given vision for you can see it. Know what you know, live
what you know, and work what you know.

God is
very specific about how He wants us to execute His Commands.
“And
the LORD
said to Joshua, ‘This day I will begin to
magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as
I was with Moses, so I will be with you. You shall command the
priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have

od-Dream -
3.
God and
His Holy Family speaks to us through dreams, visions, and commands
to our hearts, minds, souls, and spirits; and through any and all of
His Creation. God is very specific when He tells us to do something.
We cannot take short cuts, try it our way, get tired of waiting,
listen to someone else, or move in a direction or way which is
contrary to what God Almighty has placed in you. Do it God’s
Way!
In the case of the crossing of the river Jordon:
1.
God spoke to Joshua alone, telling him what to tell
the others to do. God didn’t tell the priests; only Joshua.
(Joshua 3:7)
2.
Joshua was in prayer for three days before they moved across
the Jordon. (Joshua 3:2) And if we know Joshua, he was in
prayer more than that, especially while the spies were out.
(Joshua 2:1)
3.
God placed in Joshua’s spirit that He (God) was going to do
something miraculous. “Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying
‘Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people,’
So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.”
Joshua 3:6 Joshua told them publicly what God had told
him in private to tell them. Joshua was obedient and so were the
priests as well as the people.
4.
Joshua knew that he had to prepare himself for the
miraculous. He knew that Canaan had been promised to the Israelites.
(Deuteronomy 7) He also knew he had a big obstacle, a
“God-obstacle”—the Jordon River.
5.
Joshua knew that his people had to prepare for the
miraculous. (Joshua 3:5)
6.
Joshua’s officer’s spread instructions to the people to
prepare for the miracle. (Joshua 3:2-3)
7.
Joshua and the children of Israel went where they had not
gone before. (Joshua 3:4) Their feet, their direction
was where man had not gone before; their work, their plans, their
focus was new to them.
8.
The Living God, Yahweh, the Most High was with the Israelites
before the miracle, during the miracle, and after the miracle.
(Joshua (Joshua 3:10) Ideas, visions which are muddy and
unclear, become firm, focused, and get completed. (Joshua 3:17)
In our life experiences, as we handle the dreams and visions God has
placed within us, we must learn the above principles as we prepare
for the miracles God is processing in our lives right now.

We are vessels in every sense of the word.
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of
darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we
have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the
power may be of God and not of us.”
2 CORINTHIANS 4:6-7
(NKJ)
V
essels -1. We are made like sponges, in that what
ever we expose ourselves to, becomes a part—no matter how
miniscule– a part of us. Our senses are attuned to input into our
brains that which they are exposed to, what they come into contact
with. In other words, what we expose ourselves to, we
become…because we are vessels. “Jesus answered them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever
committeth sin is the servant of sin.” John 8:34 (KJV)
When we sin (Romans 3:23),
that sin has power over us if we do not ask for forgiveness with the
understanding that Christ Jesus died for our sins, all of our sins.
What we pour into ourselves as earthen vessels, we hold. We hold it
until we turn it over to Jesus. Whether it comes into our eyes, into
our hearts, by our touch, our emotions, our smell, our hearing,
whatever input which comes into us, comes into contact with us, it
has either negative or positive effects. That is why it is important
to have the Bible, the Word of God to be that thing which has the
most presence in our bodies, in our minds, in our hearts, in our
emotions, and in our spirits. “Let the word of Christ dwell in
you richly in all wisdom (locking it in the mind); teaching
and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs
(locking it in the emotions), singing with grace in your
hearts (locking it in the heart) to the Lord.” Colossians
3:16 (KJV) Living the Word (our action), locks the Word in our
spirits. “…It is written, Man shall not
live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
“Flee from youthful lusts: but
follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on
the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22 (KJV) We
must turn away from evil input in our lives. We must turn our
children away from evil input in their lives. “If a man therefore
purge himself of these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every
good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21 (KJV) Whether water, wine, or
waste; dross, drugs, or the divine; food, fasting, or the fantastic,
we are vessels of the Most High God and as such must place in us
that which is fitting to vessels of God. If not the Lord will break
the vessel and make it anew. “For this is the will of God, your
sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that
each of you should now how to possess his own vessel in
sanctification and honor,” 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 (NKJ)

Faith is the mystery and key which brings the spiritual into the
physical.
“But when you pray, do not use vain
repetitions as the heathen do.
For thy think that they will be heard for
their many words.
Therefore do not be like them.
For your Father knows the things you have need
of before you ask Him.”
MATTHEW 6:8
(KJV)
G
od knows. This is a big mystery. I am not
advocating not to pray, not to fast, not to praise to Lord God
Almighty, but to place these things and other spiritual things into
perspective. The application of faith is another mystery which Jesus
has placed clearly before us.
God knows what we want and what we
need before we ask. He knows the beginning from the end (Isaiah
46:10). He is Alpha and Omega (Revelation 21:6), the
beginning and the end. God knows. God loves us that much, so much
that He will give us that which we want or need. But… we, after
accepting Christ as our personal Savior, have to seek first the
Kingdom of Heaven and His Righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Then
to make things happen, we have to apply FAITH, not prayer (do pray),
not praise (do praise), not tithes and offerings (do tithe), nor
fasting (do fast), but FAITH. What I am saying is this. We have
placed praise, fasting, tithe, offering, prayer as things we can do
to get a result, to gain God’s love and attention. We have empowered
these things. We have taken the Glory from God and placed in these
religious aspects of our service to Him. We have to place our
religious habits, behaviors, actions, where they belong…in service
to God, with God being the focus of the Power… not praise power, not
prayer power, not fasting power, not tithe power, or big church
power, but God Power.
We already have God’s attention and
love. We have to place our religion, or spirituality focus back on
God and His Son Christ Jesus. We believe (key word—BELIEVE) that we
have to do something, can do something to get God’s Favor, to get
Him to move. God is always moving on our behalf. He loves us that
much. He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, the Christ. What we have
to do is believe that He will do it, is doing it, and it is done.
(Mark 11:23) “Therefore I say to you,
whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive
them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24 (NKJ)
THE APPLICATION OF FAITH, not some religious or spiritual action.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes
in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than
these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12
(NKJ) This is a faith walk, a faith talk, faith thinking, faith
action, faith believing; it is about having a mustard seed of faith
which you can hold for as long as you can.

Where are you?
“But the LORD God called to the man, ‘Where
are you?'”
GENESIS 3:9 (NIV)
S
omeone
wrote in graffiti
on a wall: “Jesus is the answer.” Underneath someone else scrawled:
“Yes, but what is the question?” Someone else wrote a book entitled:
“Asking the right questions.” You have to answer many questions on
your journey from birth to the grave. None are more searching than
the question God poses. He asked the simplest question of Adam and
Eve. “Where are you?”
He knew exactly where they were. The
question was not really about geography, it was about where they
were in their relationship to Him and with Him. It was about their
relationship to Him in obedience. It was about their relationship to
Him in their stewardship to the world into which he had put them.
He could have said, “I know where you
are.” But He didn’t. It was necessary for the couple themselves to
give account for their flouting of His command; for their
disobedience. The answer, the real answer, is that they did not know
where they were because they were lost. They had allowed themselves
to be led astray. Had it not been that God came searching for them
and found them, they would have been lost to God, lost to truth,
lost in evil. Lost.
If God were to ask you this same
question, how would you answer? Exactly where are you in relation to
God? Where are you in relation to truth, in regard to obedience,
submission, in relation to love? Where are you in discipleship?
Where are you in relation to the body of Christ, the church?
Eventually the question will change
slightly. At the end of your journey God will want to know, “Where
have you been?” How will you answer that? Pray that God will help
you to find yourself. Pray that God will help you find where you are
exactly and how you are fulfilling His purpose. Where are you in
God’s purpose for your life and the lives your life touches? Where?
WHERE ARE YOU?

Be aware of what goes into your vessel; for surely it will come out.
“And no one puts new wine into
old wineskins;
or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is
spilled, and the wineskins are ruined.
But new wine must be put into
new wineskins.”
MARK 2:22
(NKJ)
V
essels -2.
This is new wine. We are vessels of the LORD.
We have to be aware of what we put in our bodies; what we see, hear,
touch, smell, what we feel, how we feel, what we allow ourselves to
go through because what goes in comes out. The contents of one
vessel gets poured into the next vessel; the nearest vessel. This is
not a one time deal. This is an ongoing situation; contents going in
and contents going out—a cycle. “Moab has been at ease from his
youth; and he has settled on his dregs, and has not been emptied
from vessel to vessel…” Jeremiah 48:11 (NKJ)
When we hold that which we receive,
it becomes stale and unusable until it is given to others, shared
with others, poured out of us. We become stale if we are not poured
out of ourselves. And I know you know someone to whom this applies.
They are generally unhappy, unpleased, and miserable even with all
their material things which surrounds them. They have no peace.
The mystery revealed. Jesus simply
states this as: “…It is more blessed to
give than to receive.” Acts 20:35
(KJV) The trick—what we receive, whatever we receive, we pour
into others. Therefore, it is important to receive the righteousness
of God, which we then pour into others. “This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.”
Isaiah 54:17 (NKJ)
As vessels of God, God dwells in us.
The example is God dwelling in Jesus. God dwells in Jesus and God
dwells in us. We dwell in Christ Jesus and Christ Jesus dwells in
us. (This is the solution to overcoming evil in the world.) “…the
mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but
now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make
known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the
Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians
1:26-27 (NKJ)
We are in the Father as the Father
was and is in Jesus Christ.
“Do you not believe that I am in the
Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not
speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the
works.” John 14:10 (NKJ) Keep your body pure in
heart, pure in spirit and as holy as you can possibly be. Have faith
in the words and works of Jesus, the Christ. “…blessed
are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” Luke 11:28

Forgive and let it go.
“Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive these people!
They do not know what they are doing.’”
LUKE 23:34
CEV
M
ost people don’t forgive.
They harbor resentments, nurse grudges, spend years seething with
bitterness. Their bitterness often turns them into sour, depressed,
and spiteful people. Sometimes it colours their whole life, causes
illness, stress, and even premature death. Some hurts are not easy
to forgive. Sometimes forgiving hurts. Sometimes forgiving hurts
more than the hurts. Hurts and forgiving allows us to grow
spiritually.
“Father,
forgive them,” was Christ’s word on the cross. Whether He
was asking His Father to forgive the crowd for calling for His
death, or Pilate for agreeing to it, or the religious authorities
who ‘engineered’ it, or the soldiers who so cruelly carried it out,
we will never know. Maybe He was praying for all of them and for
Judas who had betrayed Him as well. The sheer physical pain of
crucifixion was excruciating. That Jesus could bring Himself at this
point of His suffering to plead for forgiveness for those who had
become His enemies is a sheer miracle of grace. It reflects the
heart of a merciful God who Himself is compassionate and gracious.
It is also a model and example to all who are wronged or have been
wronged by the hate, words, cruelty, ignorance, or simply the
mistakes of others. “For all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God,” Romans 3:23
(NKJ) Even if you exclaim, “What sin have I committed today?”
“What wrong have I done?” Remember: “But we are all like an
unclean
thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rages;”
Isaiah 64:6 (NKJ)
If you are suffering from an evil
done to you by someone else and are nursing a grievance against
them, refuse to let it make you bitter. Go to the cross of Jesus.
Listen to Him pray for His enemies. Then pray for yours. Ask God to
heal them, to forgive them, to restore them, and to make you a more
gracious person. Ask Him to forgive you as well. Just let it go. God
is in control. Lord, make me a forgiving person.

It is sometimes difficult for God’s new thing to get
past the old things in man’s heart.
“Now if God so clothes the grass
of the field,
which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven,
will He not much more
clothe you…”
MATTHEW 6:30
(NKJ)
G

Spiritual warriors, I adjure you by
the living God to receive this. It is important to understand that
we are living under spiritual laws. I am not talking about the Ten
Commandments here or the Commandments of Jesus, or any Commands of
Christ Jesus or God Almighty. Let’s call them Commandments. We live
under them also.
In nature, sets of laws are in
effect. These are natural laws which govern this earthly realm. Laws
of cause and effect, laws of gravity, laws of force, laws which
govern light, energy, fire, water; laws governing the physical. In
the spirit realm, there are laws in effect as well. The enemies of
God have prostituted our knowledge, our belief systems of our
spirituality to get us to believe that we can use a law, a spiritual
law to get God to show us His Love and to show more of It. The
spiritual laws allow us to operate in the spiritual realm and
physical realm to receive those things which God has allowed us, or
things which we deem necessary or helpful, or which allow us to have
a more pleasant and meaningful experience on this trip through this
temporary, natural existence.
Laws of giving of firstfruits
(Proverb 3:9), tithes to open the windows of heaven (Malachi
3:10) is an example of a spiritual law working on our behalf.
Asking on behalf of others/to help others, opening spiritual doors
for others, sowing, reaping are examples of spiritual laws. These
laws are vehicles by which we exercise our faith. Prayer, praise,
fasting, tithing, submission, confession, salvation, and like
gestures and actions of obedience which tie into laws are vehicles
of faith which are used in the servicing of our faith in God and in
His Son Jesus. It is about faith, believing. “…for
assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you
will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,” and it will
move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
Jesus also said: “…If you can
believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark
9:23 “For assuredly, I say to
you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the
sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those
things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.”
Mark 11:23 “…According to
your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:29 (KJV)

God is looking for self motivated, uncompromising, no nonsense
individuals.
“A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a
woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had
spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and
touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his
clothes, I will be healed.’ Immediately her bleeding stopped and she
felt in her body that she was feed from her suffering.”
MARK 5:25-29
(NIV)
G
od is
looking for self-motivated,
uncompromising, no-nonsense individuals that He can work with.
People with an attitude, people who have no time for cheap talk,
people with issues, who are only interested in the solution, people
who are focused, people who have no time to play around – mature
people. God is interested in men and women who are:
v
sick and tired of being sick and tired
v
people who are ready for some action
v
people who have no time to waste
v
people who realize the season
v
and the urgency of the season
The woman in the Bible had a pressing
situation of blood for years and had spent all her fortune trying to
get a cure. She had reached her dead end. But thank God, Jesus
passed by her street and suddenly she felt hope arise within her and
she knew without a doubt, “This is my day, I cannot miss it, I
cannot mess around, I cannot waste time. I must go and get solution
for my problem from Jesus.”
Blood trickled from her for years. I
can imagine she was smelling, but had been hardened by the
situation. In her frustration, she picked herself up, and probably
covered her face and got into the street with an attitude of
persistence and consistency. She got into the thronging multitude.
She had to touch Jesus. She started pushing and crawling under them.
Her focus was on Jesus. She refused to be intimidated by the crowd.
She said in her heart, “I know am smelling, but excuse me! I look
cheap, but excuse me! I look miserable, but excuse me! I am going to
Jesus! I’m not worthy, but excuse me! I am bleeding, but excuse me!”
And SUDDENLY she touched the hem of
His garment. INSTANTLY SHE WAS HEALED! Whatever you are going
through in life today, don’t give up. Look up and press on. You will
make it in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Put more good in you than bad; then pour it upon others.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is
like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every
kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down
and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.”
MATTHEW 13:47-48
(NKJ)
V
essels-3.
As vessels of God we must stay full of
God’s Word, of the Words of Christ Jesus.
Be aware of what goes into your vessel; for surely it will come out.
“Therefore whatever you have spoken in the
dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear
in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.” Luke
12:3 (NKJ) We are vessels in every sense of the word… when we
get filled up with something, when we get tired of something, when
we get feed up with something, we erupt emotionally. We lose that
which is in the vessel. Actually we get an opportunity to see what
is really inside.
When we do not want to deal with that
daughter that has too many boyfriends coming over, or that son who
stays away from home days at a time, or husband who comes in at 2
a.m. in the morning, or you get tired of that deacon getting in your
business, or that worship leader spreading gossip; we get angry,
frustrated, bitter, or any number of negative emotions. When
we move towards dealing with them we have to allow the positive
liquid of the Love of Jesus to come out of our vessels, not the
negative liquids which attempt to flow out of human spirit, out of
the powers of darkness. The spirit of God in us has to actively
dominate the negative. “Let your light so
shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your
Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 “And have no
fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose
them.” Ephesians 5:11 (NKJ)
We get filled up, then we overflow.
We get filled up, fed up with someone or something then we move
(direction) into some action or activity (spirit). We get
filled with joy; we stand, jump for joy, have tears of joy, and
shout. We get filled with something funny, there is laughter. We get
filled with grief, we overflow tears with crying. We get
filled with anger, negative words enter the air. When there is
overflow, let it be the overflow of the LORD,
overflow of love, joy, peace, compassions, empathy, sympathy,
understand, and other attributes of God. (Matthew 5:15) We
are vessels. What we put into us, what we allow into us, comes out
of us… stirred around, shaken up, and overflowing. (Luke 11:33)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly
places in Christ,” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJ)

God is greater than our greatest problems.
“Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have
laid up for those who fear You,
which you have prepared for those who trust in
You in the presence of the sons of men!”
PSALM 31:19
(NKJ)
O
h Lord my
God,
how great you are. There is always
the danger that we unconsciously reduce God to the limits of our own
thinking. Because we cannot see how something can be performed, we
may be convinced that it cannot be done and we may link God in our
minds with that which we consider to be impossible.
When we have been as logical as
possible, and when our reasoning has reached its limits and we are
convinced that we have studied every facet of a particular problem,
we must remember that beyond our thought power lies the greatness of
God. All knowledge is partial, but when we link our thought power
with meditative qualities we learn to draw upon the infinite
resources of the Omniscient God. We cannot say we have done all in
our power to solve our problems until we have thought about it in
the presence of God. When we do this, God’s Holy Spirit inspires our
ideas and enables us to penetrate even further into the problem, and
gives deeper understanding from angles we have not thought of
considering. It is wise to place our problems under the scrutiny of
God for He understands it in its completeness.
Because our Father knows all about
our problems and we have implicit faith in Him, He will guide us in
the way we should go. Do not lack confidence in His leading, but go
forward, knowing that He understands our problems and with our
co-operation, will bring things to a satisfactory conclusion. God is
greater than our greatest problems, and He will guide us to a
perfect solution.

Today is your day to be someone’s hero. Be the “Hero of the Day.”
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.”
JOHN 3:17
(NKJ)
O
nly One? What if it took only one person to save
the world? What if it took only one person to stop all the violence?
Could one person stop all the world’s wars and the hatred among the
races and nations? Will there arise one person, or can there be
another savior, or will there be one hero who steps forward to do
the unthinkable, the impossible, the unbelievable, the incredible?
“With men it is impossible, but not
with God; for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27
(NKJ)
Will there be one person on the
earth, on the sea, on the mountaintop, in the valley, in space, or
in distress and suffering who will look past who they are, where
they are, how they are, how they feel, to extend one finger, a
helping hand, a caring heart, a mind of conscious, an audible voice,
and tears of concern? It only takes one person to make a difference;
to take a step forward. Someone has to speak up and speak out.
Someone has to follow the example of Jesus and say, “NO, that is not
right,” and overturn some tables in the temple. Someone must listen
to Jesus as He says, “Most assuredly, I say
to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also;
and greater works than these will he do…” John 14:12
Will you give your daughter to a
brutal death so the world can be free? Will you love your husband
who stays out all night enough to save the world? Can we forgive one
another and ourselves enough to bring forgiveness to the nations?
Should we tolerate our differences so we can usher in peace? Will
you give up the love of your life to someone else, because you love
them that much? Must we sacrifice our dreams and goals so that
others who do not know us may have a better quality of life? Should
we strive to have it all to lose everything that is important? Can
we gain love, peace, joy, prosperity, or respect by destruction?
Must we continue to blame others for our failures? Let go of hatred,
grief, pain, suffering, and disparity so others can be free. “If
you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
With Christ Jesus, we can do the
impossible. “…Christ in you, the hope of glory…” Colossians 1:27
It only takes one of us to make up our minds to make a difference
in the world; your world and my world. Will it be you? Will you make
the difference that your world is waiting for, that my family is
waiting for, that our community is waiting for? “For
with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37
With Christ Jesus, with the Holy Spirit, with God, we can be the
difference and make the difference God is waiting for: the
impossible in us. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and
what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and
to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 Won’t you be the one? Be the
one!

Reject not yourself, others, nor accept the rejection of others.
“The stone which the builders refused is become
the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This
is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and
be glad in it."
PSALMS 118:22-24
(KJV)
T
aking off
the veil of rejection.
The rejected stone is synonymous to a person who has no place in the
importance of things. A person who is under-rated, downplayed, and
considered second class because of life’s circumstances. Today,
there are many who have become rejected stones the world over. These
are people whose life destinies have been trapped by negative forces
beyond their control. However, for the stone to regain its
acceptance, the veil must be taken off of it.
It takes the power of God to reverse
the rejected life. I don't know what has happened to you or has
caused you to be rejected, but I declare that you put yourself
together and make a decision to give your life to God for Him to
take the rejection off of you. It is only God that can promote you
before man even thinks about you (Psalms 75:6-7). Even Jesus
Christ was a rejected stone. His village didn’t see any importance
in His life (John 1:46), but He became the Mediator between
man and God. Have you thought about Joseph who was rejected by his
own brethren, but later became the economic strength of Egypt?
It does not matter what you are
today, for God is able to raise you beyond the expectation of your
enemies (1 Samuel 2:7-8). I want you to understand that every
man has three-days to live for:
1. Yesterday - that is your past. It is what everyone
knows you to be. Nazareth was known to be an unproductive
village.
2. Today - that is your present. Jesus Christ was known to be
the son of the carpenter. They may know you today to be nobody,
but I want you to understand that your tomorrow is coming.
3. Tomorrow - is a complete mystery. The one thing that you are
breaking apart today may be your breakthrough tomorrow.
I want to encourage you that it does
not matter who rejects you, but if God be for you who can be against
you. I pray that every gathering for your rejection should not stand
in the name of Jesus. The Lord bless you. And may you have a
wonderful devotional time.

Suffering is from the evil ones. God is not mocked by the evil or
the good.
“…Behold,
thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”
JOHN
5:14
(KJV)
S
ometimes I
want to slap
some people up side their heads as hard as I can to rebuke the
enemies of God out of them. And I know the evil spirit(s) will
leave. The reason I do not do it (not including the obvious reason
of going to jail) is:
1)
The demons will leave and come again, because the person is
doing the same things which allowed them to come in in the first
place (Luke 11:26),
2)
They must have an opportunity to grow spiritually and a chance
to activate their spiritual victory which they have within them
as a Child of God. (Mark 14:38; John 4:24; 1 Corinthians
15:57)
Now of course this depends on the level of bondage the person is in,
the location, and the situation. Demons cannot just walk up to you
and kill you. At one time they may have been allowed to do this, but
there are spiritual laws in effect which prevent this. “And the
angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness
unto the judgment of the great day.” Jude 1:6 Key word
here: chains. Translations: impediments, bands, ligaments, shackles,
and disabilities. Here think, inability to walk up to you and kill
you; not having the power to directly physically place its
appendages, hands, digits, on you; bound, shackled, and impeded from
doing so.
But what the enemies of God will do is speak to our minds or hearts
to direct us to do something crazy like walk out in front of a
moving vehicle, commit suicide because of a lost love, or get
depressed because of a lost job. They don’t kill you, you kill you.
They are not going to be accountable for your death, you will be.
You do the action, you do the crime, you do the time. There is a
penalty or reward for every thought, word, or deed/action. “But
I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they
shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Matthew
12:36 (KJV)
We have to go through what we have to go through. What is for us, is
for us, and we have to endure it. By holding the Hand of Christ
Jesus, it is possible. In Mark 5:29, the woman with an issue
of blood suffered twelve long years, holding the hands of
physicians, before her faith moved her to touch her Salvation which
was walking down the dusty road. Evil tormented her with suffering,
much like a boy with a wounded bird, plucking its feathers for joy
and entertainment. We must stop our suffering by having faith in
Christ Jesus. Stop doing those things which invite evil to come into
our heads. Stop doing those things which invite evil into our place
of living. Stop inviting evil in our hearts with misplaced desires.
God does not want us to suffer, but there are spiritual laws in
effect. Dwell only on the good. (Philippians 4:8)

Take your eyes off of your circumstances.
“And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane
proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so
that it was already becoming filled. But He [Himself] was in the
stern [of the boat] asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke
Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are perishing?”
MARK 4:37-38
(AMP)
W
hen you face a tremendous challenge which is beyond
your capabilities, your comprehension, or when you face a situation
that can not be met by human means, how do you react? Are you
immobilized by fear that causes you to keep your eyes on your
problem?
When your son or daughter become
involved with drugs and is gone for weeks at a time and you don’t
know where they are or what they are doing; do you find it difficult
to stop worrying, to take your eyes off your circumstances and
believe God for a miracle—a supernatural intervention, something
which cannot happen by human means?
When your marriage is in trouble,
your relationship with your husband or your wife is not what it
should be; there are barriers of unforgiveness and resentment
between you, in your heart, you secretly blame your husband or your
wife? Do you become fearful that your relationship will never
improve?
Brothers and sisters, as you
concentrate on your problem(s), things will never change. In fact,
they will grow worse. Those problems are hindering you from seeing
God as He is. But when you take your eyes off your circumstances,
your husband’s drinking problem, your wife’s habit of nagging, your
husband or wife’s unfaithfulness, and your lack of
communication—place your eyes on God. Keep them on a God who is
unlimited and you will begin to see things change in your life and
in the lives of your husband, your wife, and your children.
Your first, step of receiving a
miracle and having miracles as a natural occurrence in your life is
to see God as He is.

Focus your time and energy on working for the Kingdom of Christ.
“Now he who received seed among
the thorns is he who hears the word,
and the cares of this world and
the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes
unfruitful.”
MATTHEW 13:22(NKJ)
P
arable of
the Seed.
(Mark 4:3-20) The seed is the Word of God (Bible). The thorns
are the cares of this world (fitting in, being admired, pomp,
prestige, position…) and the deceitfulness of riches (money, power,
land, desires of the flesh…). They choke our time and energy which
should be directed to helping people, working for Christ; they choke
our compassion, our empathy, sympathy, and stifle our motivation
towards brotherly love. When our focus is on self or being like
others moving in self, our living in the Word of God, in godliness,
in being like Jesus Christ is choked. “For the love of money is a
root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from
the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with
many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10 (NKJ)
“For what
advantage is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself
destroyed or lost?” Luke 9:25 (NKJ) What is your
self-worth connected to? It is connected to money? Position? Title?
Income? What do you equate yourself with? What qualifies you? Who
qualifies you? What or who makes you who you are? Company? Career?
Responsibility? Employees? Education? Church size? Church
membership? How long your church or church organization has been in
existence?
Do you, do we connect who we are to
what we are doing, who we are doing it with, who they are, how they
are, what they are doing, how they are doing what they are doing,
how big a title, or how many letters (BA, MS, PHD, DD, OSB, DDS,
OSA, OFM, CMI) our pastor, boss, friend, neighbor, our country club,
or social organization’s president has? Does this make us more
important to our friends, to ourselves, or less important in the
eyes of the lettered? “For what is a man
profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew
16:26 (KJV) “knowing that you were not redeemed with
corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless
conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the
precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without
spot.”1 Peter 1:18-19 (NKJ) To what or to whom do you place
your value? To what or to whom supplies the value which you assign
to yourself? Where is, who has, and to what is your time and energy
dedicated? Dedicate your life to Christ Jesus.

Put on the Eagle Mentality
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that
have no might he increaseth strength.”
ISAIAH 40:29
(KJV)
E
agle
Ministry – 1.
One day a farmer realized he had a strange egg in his possession as
he specialized in rearing and marketing chicken (in Swahili chicken
is called “kuku” pronounced “coo coo,” like the word cool). He kept
the egg until it hatched together with the other kuku. A strange
looking bird came forth and did not look like the kuku. It was an
eagle and did not even know it. It grew up together with the kuku.
It stayed down and faced down, it never looked up—kukus never do.
v
He scratched the ground to find his food just like the kuku:
v
He realized he was different
v
But did not realize his identity
v
He did not realize his bloodline
v
He did not realize he was king of the sky
One day he attempted to fly just like
kukus do. He realized he could fly higher. Then it dawned on him
that he does not belong down there but up here. He flew away and
never came back! The eagle is a very large bird. Its wingspan is 3 –
8 1/2 feet. It’s the King of the Sky. It soars up to 14,000 feet and
cruises at a speed of 30-50 miles per hour. Its eye site is 8 times
clearer than the human eye. It searches for its food while it soars
in high places and then dives at a speed of 200 miles per hour to
catch its prey.
I am talking about visions, dreams
and callings. Many things tie us down from fulfilling God’s call in
our lives or being what we dream to be. Circumstances sometimes
intimidate us such as: money, frustrations, temptations, confusion,
contradictions, misunderstandings, lack of education among others.
REGARDLESS, WE ARE EAGLES AND EAGLES CANNOT BE INTIMIDATED BY
CIRCUMSTANCES. WE MUST FLY!!!!

Stretch your wings, fly with the LORD, and see His Destiny for your life.
“But they that wait upon the LORD

Ministry – 2.
God says today, they that wait upon Him shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be
weary, they shall walk and not faint. God will provide for you, He
will intervene in your situation and make a way where there seems to
be no way. Because of your gift/talent, He will put you before kings
and queens. You are the next superstar! Believe it.
Do you have a VISION? Do you dream
about it? Then you can do it!!!! For with God all things are
possible!!! Hallelujah!!! Begin to visualize yourself as an
eagle. Steps to follow:
v
Study God’s Word
v
Be prayerful
v
Faith will be birthed in you
v
Faith will cause you to move towards the vision
v
Begin to soar as an eagle implementing your God-given ideas
v
Your vision, dream, calling will come alive.
But without faith, the Bible says, it
is impossible to please God. “But without faith it is
impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that
he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
(KJV) It is then that our spiritual eyes open and we see further and
clearly for we are eagles.
v
Your vision is the light leading your everyday life
v
It influences your decisions and thoughts
v
It motivates you to work hard to pursue it
Put on your eagle mentality. Put on
your eagle attitude. Put on your eagle attire. Put on your eagle
behavior. Let loose the eagle in you. Spread your wings and fly away
into your destiny in Jesus’ Name! Amen

We have divine responsibilities as God’s new Chosen People; His
Children.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes
down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow or turning. Of His own
will He brought us forth by the word of truth,
that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”
JAMES 1:17-18
(NKJ)
F
irstfruits
of God.
When asked the question: Who are God’s chosen people? Most people
will answer: The Jews. The Hebrews. The Israelis. (Deuteronomy
7:6) Yes, chosen they were; hardheaded, stubborn, and
stiff-necked also. So much so that the LORD
replaced a generation in the wilderness for disobedience; “that had
done evil in the sight of the LORD.”
(Numbers 32:13) At the end of the “Divided Kingdom” years
(the northern kingdom of Israel was scattered to the wind; while the
southern kingdom of Judah was taken into Babylonian captivity), the
Hebrew’s were scattered; thus a Jewish Diaspora. Here again, the
Israelites were “doing evil in the sight of God” during those years.
(Chronicles and Kings)
In steps Jesus, the Christ, God’s
only begotten Son. Again, the Hebrews “did evil in God’s sight” by
not accepting His Son. Not only not accepting Him, but was a party
to, and involved in putting Him to death. Now there were a great
many Israelites following Jesus, but many doubted His Resurrection
(Matthew 28:17). The Jewish religious hierarchy created lies and
deception to refute Christ’s Resurrection—blasphemy.
“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be
forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy
Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” Matthew 12:31 (KJV)
Blasphemy (evil speaking) against God, Christ’s Spirit, Jesus, or
the Holy Spirit is blasphemous. The consequence is unforgiveness.
The chosen people of God are those
obedient people who obey God’s Will, His Commands, His Commandments;
who both love and fear Him. The Israelites are now broken off as the
true branches because of their unbelief. “Well said.
Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do
not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural
branches, He may not spare you either.” Romans 11:20-21 (NKJ)
(read Romans 11) His new branches, His new Chosen are
those who love and serve God and His Son Christ Jesus. “For ye
are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians
3:26 (KJV) We are the firstfruits of Christ’s love for
humanity. Let us stretch forth our hands and issue compassion and
love to those who are in need, stop the violence of speech and
action, and usher peace into our lives and the lives of all
humanity.

moved the people or changed their lives was the very message that
the woman, I mean an adulterous woman, just receiving a single word,
turned her village for Jesus. Jesus preached this message for years
in Judea, but could not move the people, the right people.
“Now after the two days He
departed from there and went to Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified
that a prophet has no honor in his own country. So when He came to
Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all the things He
did in Jerusalem at the feast; for they also had gone to the feast.
So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water
wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at
Capernaum. When he heard the Jesus had come out of Judea into
Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his
son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Unless
you people
see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.’ The
nobleman said to Him, ‘Sir, come down before my child dies!’ Jesus
said to him, ‘Go your way; your son lives.’
So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went
his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told
him, saying, ‘Your son lives!’ Then he inquired of them the hour
when he got better. And they said to him, ‘Yesterday at the seventh
hour the fever left him.’ So the father knew that it was at the same
hour in which Jesus said to him, ‘Your son lives.’ And he
himself believed, and his whole household.” John 4:43-48 (NKJ)
This was the second miracle of Jesus.
When the purpose of a thing is not
known or believed, abuse is inevitable. I don’t know how long you
have stayed in your Judea or have been subjected to your religious
and traditional behavior, but I want to let you know that it is your
location that will determine your allocation. The people of Judea
saw Jesus and spent time with Him, but never knew Him. Know and
appreciate what God has placed among you so everyone can receive the
allocation God has promised. May you obtain your allocation by
increasing your faith and appreciation in what God has placed with
you for the good of His Kingdom.

We are all called to build God’s Kingdom, not ours!
“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost,
said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
if
we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man,
by what means he is made whole;
be
it known unto you all, and to all the people of
Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye
crucified, whom God
raised from the dead, even by him
doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the
stone which was set at nought of you
builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given
among men, whereby we must be saved.”
ACTS 4:8-12
(KJV)
L
et’s focus
on the word: builders. A builder is one who builds
according to a given blueprint. The word builder speaks of mandate,
responsibility,
and
ministry. It speaks of authority in the area of constructing what
has been given to you as blueprints from above.
These people were called to build
God’s Kingdom. Actually, we are called to build God’s Kingdom.
Actually, we are all called to do it. Yet, they built something else
– and they built it in their own will, strength, and abilities. They didn’t build
according to the Master plan,
according
to the Master’s Plan,
because they were leaving the Master out. Worse – they rejected His
plan and methods of building altogether and tried to do it their
way.
In order to be able to build in the
right way, we must know the Master Builder Himself. We must know Him
intimately, know His heart, His will, and His purposes, so we can always be
adequate in building. Communion with Him is the key.
Do you know what you are building?

What rules you, rules your life, and will change your
world.
“They promise them liberty, when they themselves are
the slaves of depravity and defilement,
for by whatever any one is made inferior or
overcome or worsted, to that [person or thing] he is
enslaved.”
2 PETER 2:19
(AMP)
J
oy in the
Lord is my strength. Joy and love are
the emotions when directed towards the LORD, we can trust. We have to be in charge of our
emotions. What we are not in charge of and is in our lives, is in
charge of us. Sin rules our lives if we allow it to dominate us and
our behavior. “Jesus answered them, ‘Verily,
verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of
sin.'” John 8:34 (KJV)
Beware, emotions will and can betray
us. Not only the emotion of love, but sadness; not only happy
emotions, positive emotions, but negative ones. When we fail,
fall, or make mistakes, we often have guilt. Don’t receive it. That
emotion is in our faces the wrong way, allowing us to make ourselves
feel guilty (by accepting the feeling); therefore opening spiritual
doors to other negative emotions which will come to assume a
dominate posture over our lives. We cannot allow bitterness, hatred,
indifference, or any negative or positive emotion to rule our lives,
our judgment, our world.
When we fail, we often don’t have the
love, the zeal towards the LORD,
towards praising Him and rejoicing in what He has done for us (what
we see), is doing for us (believing He is effecting), and is going
to do (hope for the future). We often expect the same level of
emotion, the same intensity of praise, the same desire to pray and
the eagerness to fast for the LORD,
for spiritual growth, and in our relationship with the Lord. Know
that that was a season you were in and now you are in or are going
into a new season.
Being sad, heartbroken, miserable are
emotions which will betray you if you listen to them; don’t be sad
just because you feel sad. Do not get lust confused with love. Don’t
be heartbroken because you feel heartbroken or betrayed. Don’t feel
rejected, forgotten, lost, ignored, pitiful, mean, mad, crazy,
stupid, ignorant, happy, joyous, elated, secure, and myriad
emotions, and accept them as a part of you, because they will take
you and try to keep you in a negative existence. Let nothing steal
your joy. Not anything.
Do not
make emotional decisions. Do not make life-changing decisions when
filled with emotion.
Be happy and content because you are a child of God… “…and
are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
Luke 20:36 (KJV) Whatever happens in your world, God is in
control and He will turn it for your good (Romans 8:28) and
for the good of His Kingdom.

There
is a cry in God’s heart, and it is for the maturity of His sons and
daughters.
“For
every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of
righteousness: for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are
of full age, even those who by reason of use
have their senses exercised to discern
both good and evil.”
HEBREWS 5:13-14
(KJV)
S
ome time

I was at a healing meeting and a lady brought her little son for
prayer. He couldn’t walk, because there was something wrong that
stood in the way between his brain and his muscles. He wasn’t
paralyzed nor were his legs crippled, feeble, or without strength.
Just somehow the information from his brain couldn’t reach his feet,
which were normal, proportional, and strong feet. After the prayer,
we let him down and made him go to his mother. He did. The Lord
healed him! Praise the Lord!
The next day, at another meeting, I saw something, while the
preacher was sharing the testimony of this same boy, that can be
spiritually applied to all of us. We have been born again and our
spirit has received the Divine indwelling. It is in communication
with the Lord. This is Great! Yet, this can produce only an
excitement within us, it can give us a secure feeling, that the Lord
is with us, that the Lord is good to us, that He loves us, cares for
us, and provides for us. But what about our responsibility to
start walking in power and authority, so we can advance His
Kingdom, His purposes, His agendas, and His heart’s desires? In
order for us to start walking, our mind (our spiritual
brains) must receive the information from our spirits. We must
understand it and we must start acting upon it, moving in the
direction our renewed mind would be taking us through our spirit,
which has received its leading by the Holy Spirit.
Of course the Lord is good to us and as every parent, He will take
us in His loving arms and will protect us. Yet, also as every
parent, He will want us to start trying walking on our own, through
exercise. The above verses show that if we only enjoy God’s goodness
and being in His arms all the time, we will be counted as babies.
But if we, through exercising our senses, have come to eat strong
meat, then we are no more babies, but grown ups, spiritually
speaking. Then, we can not only enjoy what the Lord has done for us,
but also be able to be profitable for Him and His Kingdom as well.
The difference is so great, because it speaks of our
self-centeredness, if we be in the first category, and of our
selfishness, if we fall into the second category. Which one
would you choose?

Your response can make a negative expectation turn out
positively.
“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything
against anyone,
forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also
forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in
heaven forgive your trespasses.”
MARK 11:25-26
(NKJ)
R
esponse. How do you respond when your child stays
out to 3 a.m.? And it is your daughter? How do you respond when you
get fired from work? How do you respond when there is no food in the
house and no money in your pocket? How do you respond when you can’t
make that next car, house, or bill payment? Your response can change
the anticipated negative end result of your situation. In life, we
often say this person made me feel this way or that way. We often
act and live as though someone else other than ourselves have
control over our emotions. Who is in control of your emotions? Are
you driving your “emotions” train? Or are you allowing someone else
or something else make your emotional decisions for you? Do you
struggle to feel better but you cannot? Do you try to shake the
jealousy, shame, depression, or need to leave a relationship, but
cannot?
What or who is driving your train?
Take responsibility for your emotions just as you have
responsibility for your actions. Don’t get angry because someone
said something contrary to you. Be positive. You are not to get
angry, even if they slapped you. Jesus said, “…but whosoever
shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
Matthew 5:39 (KJV) And you are going to get back at someone who
hurt you because vengeance is yours? God said, “To me
belongeth vengeance, and recompence;…” Deuteronomy 32:35
(KJV) The way to make your response positive is:
1)
Dwell only on the positive. “…whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever
things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there
is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians
4:8 (NKJ)
2)
Know God is in control of the entire universe. “The earth
is the LORD’S, and all its fullness, the world and those who
dwell therein…” Psalm 24:1 (NKJ)
3)
God is working it out, just get involved. “And we know that
all things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 (NKJ)

Let
not your weakness become satan’s stronghold.
“For
the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely
powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
We
are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up
against the knowledge of God,
and
we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”
2
CORINTHIANS 10:4-5
(NASB)
W
hat is a
stronghold? - 1.
“Do not let sin control your puny body any longer; do not give in
to its sinful desires. Do not let any part of your bodies become
tools of wickedness, to be used for sinning; but give yourselves
completely to God—every part of you—for you are back from death and
you want to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for good
purposes.” Romans 6:12 -13 (Living Bible)
I met Jack (not his real name) one year after I gave my life to the
Lord. He was a high-powered, Spirit-filled evangelist and moving in
the gift of healing. Every time Jack preached people got saved,
healed, delivered, and Spirit-filled. We used to follow him from
meeting to meeting just to hear him preach. I never met anyone else
with an unusual anointing as Jack. Jack also had a generous heart.
He shared with the needy, especially Christians. His home was open
to those who wanted to fellowship and pray, so I used to go to his
house with other Christians. There we would pray some times past
midnight. This helped me to grow spiritually and I took Jack as my
spiritual model. He was the talk of the nation because everyone knew
him and his faith.
Unfortunately, although Jack was a great leader, he had two
weaknesses in his life which hindered his ministry to those who knew
him well and eventually, became the causes of his downfall. First,
he had pride in his life, and secondly, he moved around sleeping
with school girls and he made a few of them pregnant. Satan will
normally use our weaknesses or bad habits as his battleground to
launch his fiery darts. He will use them as strongholds to hinder
our ministries and destroy our reputation. Because of the ignorance
that many Christians have in the area of spiritual warfare, they
seldom know when they are being attacked or how to react if they
recognize it. Find strength in your weakness and do not allow satan
or evil to use it to become a stronghold against you. Find strength
in your weak times through the victory of Christ Jesus. Fight the
good fight of faith.

Our
weaknesses and infirmities are made strong within Christ.
“And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for
thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2
CORINTHIANS 12:9
(KJV)
W
hat is a
stronghold? - 2.
Satan
will normally use our weaknesses or bad habits as his battleground
to launch his fiery darts. He will use them as strongholds to hinder
our ministries and destroy our reputation. Because of the ignorance
that many Christians have in the area of spiritual warfare, they
seldom know when they are being attacked or how to react if they
recognize it.
Satan’s Main Activities Are:
1.
To afflict. “And ought not this
woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these
eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?”
Luke 13:16
2.
To accuse. “…for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and
night.” Revelation 12:10 (KJV)
3.
To kill and destroy. “The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy:…” John 10:10 (KJV)
4.
To deceive the world. “…When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father of it.” John 8:44 (KJV), “…as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty…” 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV),
Ephesians 6:11, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
5.
To cause people to sin against God. “He that committeth
sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy
the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 (KJV), Ephesians 2:1-3
Therefore, Satan would like to use any weakness in our lives as a
stronghold to hinder us from bearing fruit and serving God in
fullness. His main agenda, he would like to see bareness in every
Christian, both physically and spiritually. Find strength in your
bareness. Do not succumb to evil. Be both physically and spiritually
strong. Fight the good fight of faith.
