for power unless you can hold it in your vessel!

ave you ever wondered
why so
many Christians want God’s power in their lives, yet, so little
receive it? Or why so many preachers and ministers constantly speak
about God’s power, yet display so little of it in reality? They give
us 10 steps, 20 ordinances, 30 precepts, and 50 ideas, yet, if they
were the real key to the issue, then why would the ministers
themselves struggle to get God on the scene in a fully authentic way
– the way the Bible describes?
The
answer is that the Lord is not a Coca-Cola Machine. He is not
distributing His anointing and power just because we have pushed
some theological buttons or have simulated some living on God’s
principles and commandments. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows,
that will he also reap.
The Lord
is a Person, not a law system. He is Real. He longs for Your
Communication, Your relationship with Him, and Your Heart obedience.
His anointing can be linked (for a lack of a better term) only with
His Character and Personality. In other words, the more we are LIKE
HIM in character, the more of His anointing, power, grace, wisdom
and all else will function in reality in our life.
Imagine a
little empty vessel. The vessel is we ourselves, and it symbolizes
our character. We want all God’s anointing, yet, we are so little
like Him in character, so our vessel is very little. Let’s say he
Lord pours half a liter of His anointing in our 100 ml vessel. What
will happen to the rest of 400 ml? They will be spilled away? Why?
Because our vessel can not hold the whole half a liter. Same is with
everyone who wants God’s power, but does not focus and concentrate
on enlarging his / her vessel, to be able to hold more and more (be
more like the Lord in character, in the fruit of the Spirit, in word
and deed).
If we
concentrate on the right things, e.g., enlarging our vessel by
striving to be like the Lord more and more, we would not care to ask
for more of His power and anointing – it will come by itself. The
Lord is looking for Persons like Him, not only made theoretically in
His image and likeness, but in reality living as such, and He is
more than eager to pour out His Spirit over them. So, the deficit is
not his power, but our vessel. Let us enlarge it and prepare for His
Glory!
Lord, we SEE this
and that and we WANT this and that even when we
do not qualify. Lord we read about the
Saints of old and we want to be like them. Lord
we see the manifestation of Your Power and we
want to SEE it demonstrated or demonstrate it
ourselves. Lord we see Your Glory everyday, but
we want to see MORE. Lord, let us know that if
we OPEN ourselves to You, to You more than other
things; You will manifest God's Glory and Power
THROUGH us as we live in YOU. Amen.

his devotional
is about money, and thinking that we can do something to get a
ticket into heaven. Someone was telling me that they had just gotten
paid and had gone to the bank to cash their check. They left the
bank and immediately went straight to the church to pay their tithes
and offerings. And the reasoning was that if they did not pay their
tithes and offerings right away, then they were not in covenant with
the Lord and therefore the enemy or evil, more importantly their
enemies, could attack them.
I explained that God said in the Old
Testament that our tithes and offerings were like stink in His
nostrils because people were focused on what made them look and feel
good and did not focus on the fatherless, the poor, and the widows.
He went on to say that true tithes and offerings are taking care of
the orphans the week the poor, the widows. (Isaiah 58) It is
a fallacy among many Christians who believe that we can do something
to get a ticket into heaven. There is nothing that we can do to
purchase a ticket; it is only by the grace of God that we get chosen
to get into heaven. Only by the grace of God, can we continue
breathing, living, loving, learning, and growing.
One of the issues with the focus being on
tithes and offerings is this: it places our emphasis, our focus, on
the MONEY and getting the money to God as if God can spend our
money. And as if God wants our money, or as if God can spend our
money. Man needs money. God wants us, not our money. Our focus must
always be on God. Anything that takes our focus off of God is
demonic in nature; or should be considered as an avenue from which
evil can impact us.
A second issue with the focus on TITHE AND
OFFERING is this: it puts us in the mindset that we can do
something, we can get something, we can pay something, pay something
to someone, or some entity to get entrance into heaven. Not so. When
our focus is on paying something to get entrance, then we are
positioned mentally, spiritually and physically to disengage from
the acts of obedience to God’s Will. Instead of visiting the sick in
the hospital, you give a donation to the hospital, to the hospice,
to the children's home, or to some other cause. Instead of getting
the Spirit, you talk badly about those who choose to do so (that
$5,000 offering should have pleased the LORD). Instead of helping
the poor, you ridicule them, because of their lack of capacity,
while using the excuse that Jesus said, The poor will be with us
always; not realizing that He meant that because of our negative
attitudes, there will always be the poor, the sick, the
disenfranchised, the weak, the hurt, those suffering, the sad; and
those Christians to help God’s children. The fields are ripe for
picking: get picking.

hat is God
telling you?
What is God telling youwith the problems He permits in your
life? The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you
depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately most people fail
to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They
react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to
consider what benefit they might bring.
Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life: God
uses problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under
you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction
and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention?
“Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways."

God uses problems to
INSPECT you. People are like tea bags. If you want to know what's
inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God ever tested your
faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? "When
you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because
you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you
patience." James 1:2-3 (NCV)
God uses problems to
CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure.
It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot
stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only
learn the value of something, health, money and a relationship. By
losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me,
for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalm119:71-72

God uses problems to
PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents
you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend
was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had
asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him
from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when
management's actions were eventually discovered. "You intended to
harm me, but God intended it for good." Genesis 50:20 (NIV)
God uses problems to
PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character
builders. God is far more interested in your character than your
comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only
two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can
rejoice when we run into problems they help us learn to be patient.
And patience develops strength of Character in us and helps us trust
God more each time we use it; until finally our hope and faith are
Strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4 (LB)
Here's the point: God is
at work in your life—even when you do not recognize it or understand
it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him.
Print this out and read this regularly. Some of you could probably
use this right now!
God forgive us for
not realizing that You are at work in our lives
even though we do not know it, believe it, or
can conceive of it sometimes, especially during
those times of trouble. Continue O LORD to hold
our hands in this pilgrim journey. Let us
remember, You will never let us down. You will
never let us go. You will never give up on us.

As stewards, waiting on the LORD does not mean to twiddle your
thumbs until His return.

ften when
we think
about waiting on the Lord, we think about not doing anything
until we hear from the Lord, or until the Lord shows us a sign.
Other people will say, waiting on the Lord to them means: doing
something. For them it is as a waiter or waitress; waiting on a
table. And yet, for others, waiting on the Lord means being
positioned, or finding yourself in a situation which is, you
know is, nothing but being from the Lord.
The Holy Spirit spoke to
me and said: “Most of the time people say they are waiting on the
Lord, they are waiting on something other than the Lord.” I thought
about it for moment. Then Inspiration took over. People wait on
their paycheck. People wait on the doctor's report. People wait to
see what the company is going to do. People wait on that number to
hit, on the lottery; or waiting on the next new thing. People are
waiting on that husband, that wife, or bad boyfriend. People are
waiting on that tax refund check, waiting on the next sale. People
are waiting on the immigration lottery. People are waiting for the
weekend. People are waiting for vacation. People are waiting on the
return of Jesus. People are waiting for the Super Bowl or any major
sports event.
A husband or wife is
waiting for the husband or wife to grow out of some behavior,
pattern, or some annoyance. A boyfriend is waiting for his
girlfriend to be intimate. A girlfriend is waiting for her boyfriend
to grow up. A business is waiting for a customer to pay up. People
are waiting on the weather to change, waiting on summer, winter,
spring, or fall to come or to go. Waiting on the welfare check. A
nation is waiting for another nation to get out. We are waiting for
dinner. We are waiting for dessert. We are waiting for the
dishwasher to finish. We are waiting for the rain to stop. Waiting
on the government. We're waiting for the lightning to stop. We are
waiting for the traffic light. We are waiting in the traffic. We are
waiting for the announcement. We'll waiting for the train to pass.
We are waiting for the bus to come. Waiting
for the results of your tithes and offerings. We are waiting on the Lord.
What are you waiting for?
Is it time you stop waiting and start moving forward--right about
now would be a great time. What are you waiting for? The Lord is
with you--move.

very creature
of God
must remain connected. “And God said, Let waters bring forth
abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that
may fly above the earth in the open firmament of Heaven.” Genesis
1:20 (KJ)
He spoke to the water to produce fish and
other aquatic creatures. That's why the fish in the sea have to
remain in the water to survive, because that's their source. If you
were to take a fish out of your aquarium and put it on your
beautifully ornamented table, it would die as it's cut off from its
source.
Genesis 1:24
– “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind,
cattle, and creeping things, and the beast of the earth after his
kind, and it was so.”
So, all animals that live on land
actually came from the earth and that's why they must remain on land
in order to stay alive. No land animal can successfully live in the
water permanently, because the land is its source.
If you're born again, the Bible says that
you're born by the Word of God. As such, you also must remain
connected to your source which is the Word of God which itself is
God.
John 1:1
– “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and
the word was God.”
Every creature of God must remain

We are his sheep. He is in complete control of our lives. Every
saint of God in the Bible said many things about God. What they
said about their God mostly depended upon their understanding of
God and their understanding of His characteristics. Here we have
a wonderful portrayal of God by a wonderful saint who
experienced the Grace of God most. Having possessed a complete
understanding of what a shepherd is, this genuine servant of
God, makes God, the Almighty his shepherd.
Let us think about the responsibilities of a shepherd.
1.A shepherd owns sheep – The Lord is my shepherd. Any one who
does not have sheep is no shepherd. Sheep are nothing, but the
property of shepherd.
2.A shepherd feeds the sheep – He takes me to green pastures and
leads me to still waters.
3.A shepherd protects sheep – I shall not be afraid for thou
art with me.
Every child of God needs to have this picture of God in his/her
mind and heart. That will make them strong.
There was a ship sailing. A mother was aboard with her small
child, who was resting in her mother’s bosom. The ship was
caught in a cyclone. The waves were up roaring. But the child
was not worried even to the least, because the mother’s bosom is
the safest place for the child.
When we see our God as our shepherd, come what may, we will not
be alarmed for our Lord is well able to meet every need of ours
and protect us from all evils. To Him alone be all the Glory.

Faith in God is what makes prayers and miracles to work fast.
Without faith, we will not solve our problems.
We need to have faith in God, in Jesus before our aims can be
achieved.
“When Jesus had gone indoors, the two blind men came to him, and
he asked them, ‘Do you believe that I can
heal you?’ ‘Yes, sir,’ they answered. Then Jesus touched
their eyes and said, ‘Let it happen then,
just as you believe.’”
MATTHEW 9:27-29
As a Christian and a
servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are praying
and we don't receive our main aims because we lack faith in God
and without faith nothing is working. God is good and we are
able to do all things with Him. With Him everything is possible.
But our main problem of not receiving his blessings is because
we fail to believe Him and have full faith in Him.
There is no Christian or believer in God
without faith in Him, Jesus Christ the peace and light of the
world. Brethrens, trust in God and give Him all your faith and
you will receive the goodness of Him and all your problems.
To have faith is:
to be sure of the things we hope for,
to be certain of the things we cannot see.
It was by their faith that people of
ancient times won God's approval. It was by faith that we
understand that our universe was created by God's Word, so that
what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.
(Hebrew 11:1-3)
Peace and blessings of Jesus Christ, our

Jehovah, El-Shaddai, Jesus Christ, King of Kings, and Lord of
Lords, Yahweh. Idols and Satan have no power. There is no need
for the descendents of Adam and Abraham to give honor to idols.
All
power belongs to God, and He, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end. Any nations, states, regions,
providences, communities, towns, and villages that still worship
idols will never see the Goodness of the Living God like
blessings, fate, grace, keys, mercy, love, and charities.
Instead they will face taboos and will face atrocities, famine,
war, genocide, diseases, discrimination, and hatred, bad
governing, racism, and poverty because nothing good comes from
Satan, but to destroy the people of God. To be free from this
and receive the God side, you need to surrender your self to
Jesus Christ and take him as your God and others will follow.
Blessings are from God and if you believe in Him, there is no
need of seeing bad things. Repent and give all your heart to
God so that you will be with saved.
“The Lord is great and is to be highly praised. He is to be
honored more than all the gods. The God of all nations are only
idols, but the Lord created the heavens. Glory and majesty
surround him, power, and beauty fill his temple.” Psalms 96:4-6
Christ Jesus, please help us to
see idols in our day to day lives. Yeshua, Christ Jesus,
open our eyes to see evil in places that we did not expect that
it would be. Christ, opened our eyes and ears to see and
hear idols and learn how to bring people out of the bondage of

This is a personal dilemma-1.
As I struggle with the eBlessings ministry and its fiscal
requirements, I prayed and prayed to the Lord for direction. This is
about time to get a job or make this thing work. It is time to use
the toilet or get off. I was approached by a gentleman who had an
opportunity for me. It will involve me setting up and installing
solar-powered lamp posts in Nigeria. I would be supervising the
operation, and in a matter of months, I was told, I would be very
rich. This looks very enticing. What to do? The gentleman asked me
if I was interested.
As soon as I was in a quiet place, in my car on the way home from
the meeting, I asked the Lord, what to do. The reply from the Holy
Spirit was this, “Do not do it. This is not for you. No, not at this
time.” Now these responses from the Holy Spirit didn't come all at
one time. They came in between my thoughts of, “What?” “This looks
like what I have been looking for.” Why not?” “Is this the direction
of the Lord?” “Is this direction, the Lord wants me to go?”
Now when this brief conversation was all said and done in a matter
of seconds probably 45; I refused to believe that it was the voice,
the same voice that told me the name of the ministry: eBlessings;
the same voice that told me how to do the devotionals, and the
direction to take the ministry into. But now, I question it.
And this is a part of our human behavior to question things that
aren't going the way we want them to go. To question things that we
don't want to hear; even if we know it as the truth. To decide not
to eat a food item that we know is nutritious for us; and to eat
food items, late at night, that we know are truly not good for us.
So this part of our lifestyle has to change. We have to learn to
listen and obey. Listen and accept and obey. The other thing to know
is this. Deep within our souls, our psyches, and within our hearts
of hearts, we truly know what to do and what not to do; but since we
do not know the outcome, we toil in making the decision.

and honorable brothers and sisters in Christ, my hearty wishes
of love are to you in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. I
wish to draw a few lines for your kind feet as a gospel worker
in India. We are poor gospel workers doing Lord service since
many years. We have four co-workers and four congregations. Our
co-workers and I are distributing, tracts, books, Bibles from
door to door and street to street every nook and every corner of
the village and towns. We are distributing these tracts in bus
stands and in railway stations and trains.
Many Hindus are receiving these tracts,
books, Bibles and knowing about Jesus Christ and His Highness
and agree with us "JESUS IS ONLY OUR SAVIOUR IN THE WORLD”.
Please co-operate with us and send some gospel literature i.e.,
Bibles, cassettes and tracts for my free distribution. We are
also conducting open-air meetings and weekly worships, sisters
ministry, children ministry, fasting prayer meetings, youth
meetings, Bible studies, cottage meetings, house visiting,
personal evangelism, street rallies.
Many Hindus are coming to our meetings and
knowing about JESUS CHRIST and taking baptism. Nearly 200 souls
are saved. Please pray for them. Besides we are running an
orphan children home consisting of 20 orphan children's below 15
years age. 3 old age widows.
We are providing food, clothing and
shelter by the grace of local organizations and believers
donations. Now the organizations are handicapped. The believers
donations are not sufficient to us so we are not given full
meals to the orphan children and old age widows and lepers, The
orphan children are crying for their food. They are begging on
roads and streets.
Please show sympathy upon them and do your
kind help from anywhere. Please remember the orphan children's
and old age widows and lepers at your dining table and throw
your remaining pieces of bread from your dining table. Once I
request your honor and do at least one time gift and save our
hunger.

direction--when He has already given it. We ask our friends,
our family, our church members, and maybe our neighbors for
suggestions.
Believe that the Messiah is with you now; 24 / 7.
Move on the answer you get; learn to live with God’s Answer.
We may ask our pastor to pray with us
about it. But because we do not believe in the Holy Spirit, or
because we do not believe in Yeshua, who we call Jesus Christ,
when He says, He will be with us always. Or because we don't
believe Yeshua when He told us that He was going to send the
Holy Spirit to be with us. Or we don't believe that Christ
speaks to us; or the Holy Spirit speaks to us, we often waiver
or wonder while we are waiting for the Lord to answer our
question that we have posed to Him in prayer.
What is your spirit saying to you? Not
your flesh (heart), but spirit.
Since God is Alpha and Omega, and He knows
what we want before we even ask, and He is with us always, then
more often than not, when you believe this way, believing, God,
will respond immediately.

his is a
personal dilemma-3.
Since God is Alpha and Omega, and He knows what we want before
we even ask, and He is with us always, then more often than not,
when you believe this way, believing, God, will respond
immediately. God will give you the answer, immediately through
the Holy Spirit. Typically, it is an answer, we don't want to
hear. So, we make attempts to explain it away, not accepted as
the truth, and not deal with it as if it is reality. Eventually,
we will remember the Holy Spirit, who whispered to us the answer
at the very beginning of our asking the question.
In my case, I need the money; this
business opportunity is an avenue to receive a lot of it. The
Lord says no. I must obey and toil on through this financial
obstacle course knowing that the Lord will have the Holy Spirit
with me all along the way.
The day personal dilemma three was
scheduled to go up on the Internet, the devotional would not
publish to the Internet server. I tried, and tried all day--to
no avail. Of course, as I dealt with the issue, I asked the Holy
Spirit to tell me and show me what was wrong. Instantly, what I
received was the present devotional needs to stay on line. It
was so faint, it was so subtle, that I missed it.
And therefore I struggled all day to put up
the devotional that did not go up until the next day. In the
physical it was front page extensions which need to be retuned
at the server. And the spiritual, the devotional by the sister
from India needed to be a online yet another day.
What I'm saying is this. We get so caught
up in the day-to-day struggles, the day to day worries, if this
is going to happen, what if that happens; we get so caught up in
the physical, that we miss the spiritual. If I had only
responded to the spiritual, I would have saved a day of
frustration, of troubleshooting and not doing other things
which need to get done.
God is waiting on us to ask. God is
waiting to respond. We have to be willing to hear what He has to
say, even if it's not what we want to hear or expect from a
friend; even if it hurts when it's not coming from your enemy.

I
was
talking with a friend
of mine the other day. He was telling me about a person who had
just gotten their step-daughter approved to have their last name
changed and how happy it had made them. Regardless of the
present circumstances, ensuing circumstances, the past
circumstances, this action seems to be a very selfish move;
unless there were legal implications, which drove the change.
You see, the child, the girl, was
conceived by her natural parents and given her name, her
birthright name. The birth of a child is miraculous; it is a
miracle. It is a miracle from God. It is spiritual. It is a God
thing. Now here comes man. He wants to put his two cents in. She
wants to get her hands all in it. He wants to do, a man thing;
she wants to do a woman thing; children want to do the children
thing; and church people want to do the church thing.
So now man takes a God thing, and tries to
turn it into a man thing by naming the child with a different
last name--this is carnal, fleshly--the self moving. Whenever we
try to improve upon that which God has done, that which God has
set in place, we began to do things that are demonic in nature,
unlike God, and not how God would want us to live, think and
act.
People sometimes think they are as good as
God; see enormous gas scrapers, see gigantic dams, see ships
larger than you can imagine, seat airplanes going into space,
and see the enormity of man.. People tend to think that they are
as God. And because they do not see Him, they try to take His
place; or replace Him with the things of man. People think that
man’s medicines make are as good as those that God makes. People
began to look how fantastic it is for surgeons to make
miraculous operations; and forget how miraculous, the body was
made by God in the first place.
So when you find yourself feeling full of
ego, one top of the world, believing and feeling that you are
invincible, you could do no wrong, you have done no wrong, check
yourself to see of what spirit you are. Spirits do come and go.
Action has a way of becoming spirit. Let our actions as well as
our thoughts be positive. Will you do the Christ thing today,
tomorrow, and now?

My
name is Nick Vujicic
and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to
touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without
limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth
'defect.' As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges
and obstacles. Consider it pure joy, my sisters and brothers,
whenever you face trials of many kinds. Can you count your hurt,
pain and struggle as nothing but pure joy? My parents were
Christians and my Dad was even a Pastor of our church.They knew
that verse very well.
However, on the morning of the 4th of December 1982 in Melbourne
( Australia ), the last two words on the minds of my parents was
'Praise God!' Their firstborn son had been born without limbs!
There were no warnings or time to prepare themselves for it. The
doctors we shocked and had no answers at all! There is still no
medical reason why this had happened and Nick now has a bother
and sister who were born just like any other baby. The whole
church mourned over my birth and my parents were absolutely
devastated. Everyone asked, 'If God is a God of Love, then why
would God let something this bad happen to not just anyone, but
dedicated Christians?' My Dad thought I wouldn't survive for
very long, but tests proved that I was a healthy baby boy just
with a few limbs missing.
And we know that in all things God works for the best for those
who love Him. That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to
the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck,
chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our
life. I had complete peace knowing that God won't let anything
happen to us in our life unless He has a good purpose for it
all. I completely gave my life to Christ at the age of fifteen
after reading John 9. Jesus said that the reason the man was
born blind was 'so that the works of God may be revealed through
Him.' I truly believed that God would heal me so I could be a
great testimony of His Awesome Power. Later on I was given the
wisdom to understand that if we pray for something, if it's
God's will, it'll happen in His time. If it's not God's will for
it to happen, then I know that He has something better. I now
see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and
in ways others can't be used.
I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of
Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am
also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my
story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I
have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through
topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in
the corporate sector.
I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself
available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He
leads, I follow. I have many dreams and goals that I have set to
achieve in my life. I want to become the best witness I can be
of God's Love and Hope , to become an international
inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian
and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially
independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments,
to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share
my story on the 'Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several
best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to
finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be
called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!'
I believe that if you have the desire and passion to do
something, and if it's God's will, you will achieve it in good
time. As humans, we continually put limits on ourselves for no
reason at all! What's worse is putting limits on God who can do
all things. We put God in a 'box.' The awesome thing about the
Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God,
instead of focusing on our CAPABILITY, concentrate on our
AVAILABILITY for we know that it is God working through us and
we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves
available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on?

O
ne can
sometimes miss
one's specific blessings, or delay one's blessings, because one does
not know what the beginning of the blessing looks like; the
beginning of the answer to our prayers. Do not look in the wrong
direction for your blessings. One often thinks that one is supposed
to get the whole house, to get the whole house now. But the
beginning of getting the whole house now may be a blessing of a gift
of land, or the ability to purchase land, or an endowment of land
was left as an inheritance.
But it could be a business, a relative, a heart ache, and extremely
stressful situation, a death in the family, a love lost, you fill in
the blank; but one can be guaranteed, when what once looked
promising, now looks hopeless or lost; rest assured, the Lord is
bringing that blessing in a bigger way than you can imagine. When it
looks like it's the furthest away from happening, that's when it's
about to happen.
But for me, the Lord gives me one thing,
and then builds on it. He will give me a word, and we all know that
just one word of the Lord can change our world--a word, a promise..
And He'll add a verb, which is the action we have to take. Then
He'll add the adjective, to allow us to describe (testimony) a
situation and let people know how God is involved in it. The Holy
Spirit adds the prepositions and all the connecting words, followed
by a period; and the next thing you know, you have a blessing.
As spiritual warriors, one seeks spiritual
growth. Spiritual growth comes by many means but one way it truly
comes is through tribulation, circumstance, heartache and pain. It
is often said, the bigger the trouble, the bigger the blessing; or,
the further down one goes is opposite of how high one goes up with
one's blessing. Or, the bigger the hole one digs themselves into, is
the basement of one's new beginning, of one's new blessing.
To Abraham, going to the mountain to
sacrifice as it did not look like the beginning of the supernatural,
spiritual promise of the nation of Israel. To Joseph being sold into
Egyptian captivity did not look like the beginning of the birth of a
nation. To Lucifer, Jesus the Christ did not look like the Salvation
of the world as He hung on the cross.
See things for what they are spiritually,
not for what one sees physically with one's eyes. See the spititual
potential in every opportunity, every encounter, every meeting in
every conversation. Our physical eyes and ears in touch can deceive
us, but I spiritual nature will never fail because Christ dwells
there and. Remember, ultimately, any blessing received by us from
the Lord is for fulfilling the Lord's Will.

Holy Harmony.
This devotional is about a CD called Holy Harmony, Healing
Code Tuning Forks and Ancient, YHSVH Chant is by Jonathan
Goldman with Sarah Benson. I am going to read the liner
notes from the CD. This could change your life. I just
learned of this last week. When I first heard the sound from
the CD, I got goose bumps all over my body as if the Holy
Spirit had walked into the room. And since then, when a
light bulb began flickering, as if negative energy had
entered the room, I turned on the music and the flickering
stopped. It is said the sound from the CD can change
polluted water crystals, to close to their pure form. Check

were talking today, he said the Lord had been ministering to him
concerning Resurrection; Resurrection power. And we got onto the
topic, because I was telling him about being vulnerable. There is
strength in vulnerability. Yes, he said, and there is pain. There is
a certain amount of pain, because we have to lay ourselves open to
someone. I went on to say, how I had made myself vulnerable to
family members, only to hear negative things concerning it. And he
said, of course, people will talk about you one way or the other;
good or bad—at least they are talking. And of course he is right.
He said that Christ Jesus paid the
ultimate vulnerability. He was ultimately vulnerable by living our
experience and giving Himself to the cross for our sins.
Imagine before mankind was created. And
there was peace and happiness in Heaven. After the chaos in Heaven,
and the fall of man; after man’s sin, death was created. Death
resides in hell, and therefore, when the souls after Adam died, they
resided with him; in hell. The way God was to deliver mankind from
hell was to send his beloved Son. The way Christ was to defeat death
was to play death's game on deaths turf. This meant Yeshua, Jesus
the Christ, had to die. To die, He had to come and get into a body,
into an earth suit, so death could take Him.
So when Satan saw Christ on the cross, he
believed that he had won it all. Death was licking his chops, but
Christ already had the victory. So, Christ had to become ultimately
vulnerable, experienced that which we experienced, even to death.
And in conquering death, He has given us life. Do you think Christ
Jesus knew the type of death He was to suffer? Do you think He had a
choice on whether to be vulnerable or not?
It was not by power, nor by might, that
Christ defeated Satan, it was by Spirit; the spirit to care enough
for others to give your life for them and for their cause. In life,
in relationships, it is good to have communication, better to have
vulnerability, and best to have Christ.

I have been trying to get you all the devotionals on Traps… it is a
series which the Holy Spirit is bringing. But today as I was
mentally and spiritually preparing to receive from the LORD, this
devotional came to me.
The contextual meaning of words in the Bible hold their meaning down
through the centuries.
"If these men die a common death, of all men, or if they've been
visited after the visitation of all men; and the LORD had not sent
me. But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth,
and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, they go down
quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have
provoked the LORD."
NUMBERS 16: 29-30

"If these men die a natural death or from some ordinary accident or
disease, then Jehovah has not sent me. But if the Lord does a
miracle and the ground opens up and swallows them and everything
that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you
will know that these men have despised the Lord."

he scripture
above
is used to demonstrate it if one do not know the original language,
in this case Hebrew, then one can miss the contextual meaning of the
words. And this is a problem when one is studying the Bible, one
always have to know the context in which the Scripture was written,
given, and received. One may hear people say, "God is doing a new
thing." Typically this is taken from Isaiah 43:19.
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye
not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in
the desert". Isaiah 43:19

So, you will hear people say, "God is
doing a new thing." Interpreted by the Living Bible, "new thing"
means a miracle. And we can all agree, that every day God is doing
miracles, new things. But, one may have someone who pushes "God is
doing a new thing upon you;" saying expect God to do in new
thing--God is already doing a new thing.. always has been, and
always will.
Now let's look at it contextually.
Historically, biblically, as we all know, when God does a miracle,
or one of God's Holy Family, then whoever receives the miracle is in
a very, very bad situation at this time, before the miracle; a
situation requiring a miracle. The circumstances are so bad, and the
miracle is so necessary, man has done all that he can do, to no
effect. All that is left now is for God to step in. Then God does
the new thing--a miracle.
All that to say, if you pray for God to do
a new thing in your life, before it comes, expect a lot of
circumstances, trials, tribulations, and issues which will require
God to do a new thing, a miracle, in your life.
"How long wilt thou go about it, O thou backsliding daughter? for
the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, a woman shall
compass a man."

It is important not to take scripture out
of the context in which it was originally given and use them for a
lecture, a discussion, or in argument/debate to support one's
position. Changing one dot or tittle contextually can lead one down
the route of disaster, down the road to destruction. One last thing,
God's "New Thing" will be received as either negative or positive
depending on who is receiving it.

In
life sometimes we tend to ignore the road signs, road signs that
point to a negative result.
Focus
on the positive road signs in life
"He
answered and said unto them, "When it is
evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the
sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, you can discern the face
of this sky; but can you not discern the signs of the times?""
MATTHEW 16: 2-3 ( KJV)

This is an example of following road signs. This weekend I
was to go and celebrate my two son's birthdays: Marcus and
Nicholas. I was invited at the last minute and had to change
plans to go. I wanted to go, I want to go. The eBlessings
ministry placed an ad in the Sojourner Christian magazine
with a subscription of 200,000 plus.
There's a
lot of work, maintenance that needs to be done on the website;
updating pages, preparing Internet merchant information and cleaning
up other information, and elements on the different webpages. With
the changing of the months, from August to September, and the
Christian magazine ad, and the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the
site were enough road signs to say not to go.
But I was
going to look past those road signs because I really wanted to go, I
want to go. Because I historically had not been there for my sons as
they grew up, except for summer visitations when they decided to
come--they grew up without me around. So, when there is a family
event with their mothers side of the family, you can imagine the
heated barbs, and nasty arrows I receive when I can attend. In spite
of all that, I attend and often regret it. That was a road sign that
I knew was going to be there.
Since I
am spending so much money into the eBlessings ministry, my car had
not been maintained for eight months, probably more like a year.
Therefore an eight hour ride to North Carolina from Georgia would be
a dangerous and foolish undertaking, to say the least. But it would
be, would have been, an undertaking that I would be willing to take.
But this was a road sign to say not to go. In life sometimes we tend
to ignore the road signs, road signs that point to a negative
result. Focus on the positive road signs in life. We have not to
look past those road signs, ignore the road signs, or live in denial
of them.
The third
road sign, well actually, one of many, I've could say in this the
third group is money. Because my disability check is no more, I have
been without a real income for about two months now. So my wife
Elizabeth gave me $80 to go on the trip. I have items in storage,
personal and business, which need to be rescued from the storage by
me paying the storage fee for this month. After an expected payment
from a client, plus the $80 from my wife, I could pay the storage
fee. With the money for the client plus the money from my wife,
after paying the storage fee, I would have $40 to make the trip and
back, food money to stay for three days; it was not going to happen.
Another road sign, one that put the brakes on the trip.
Since
historically, I was never around for my sons, they would only lump
this time in with the other times it could not attend. But as you
can clearly see, the road signs pointed to not going.
So the
next time you think about why someone did not do something for you,
why they did not attend your birthday party, anniversary, or some
other family or school event; think about what may have impacted
them to make the decision that they did and be more tolerant,
compassionate, and empathetic towards them and one another.
